Shania Drawing

LOL..Oookay, I was talking online last night with the guy I like and we were talking about jobs and stuff like that and I was saying how I wanted to be a graphic designer. He asked to see some of my work, but all I had was Shania walls so I showed him a couple and he was amazed (even though he doesn't like Shania that much). Anyway, he was saying how he is kind of into graphic design, but that he doesnt have Adobe or Paint Shop Pro or anything like that on his computer, so he uses Paint (yes, the standard program that comes with every computer) to do his stuff. I was absolutely blown away by his work and he told me I should try to do it sometime. I asked him what I should draw and he said "a face" so I picked Shania lol. I did this last night very late and I just touched it up this morning. I thought it looked good up until I actually started to draw her face lol.

Anyway, I thought I'd post it just to have a laugh lol. Considering this was my first time drawing something other than a circle or square in Paint, overall, I think it's kinda good :uhh: I still don't like her face though...her mouth is like crazy. Feel free to tell me what you REALLY think of it lol...I won't care... it was just for fun. I wonder what the dude I like will think of it? lol

Good first effort, Jenn. I think portaits are the most difficult of all painting/drawing/etc. and the hardest test for any artist. There is a special section of the human brain reserved solely for facial recognition so we are exquisitely sensitive to the most minute variations of features. My mum used to paint and did some portraits so I am aware how difficult portraits are.
