Canadian figure skaters Jamie Salé and David Pelletier earned headlines at the 2002 Olympics. It wasn't that they won the gold medal, but how they came to get it: They initially were awarded silver, only to have word of altered votes emerge.
The scandal helped put a new scoring system in place for the much-maligned sport and landed the two on the cover of Newsweek and Time.
Since then, the pair has hit the professional circuit, touring with Smucker's Stars on Ice. Personally, they announced their engagement two weeks ago. Salé, 26, also has emerged as one of skating's steamier stars, with a spread in For Him Magazine (FHM). She called to talk up the tour before a quick jaunt to Japan
.......
Q: What do you guys do on the bus?
A: We play games. David has an Xbox. I bring my Shania Twain DVD on tour with me - I drive everyone crazy with that, but I love her. We try to golf in hot spots or we go to the movies if we have time. I loved Polar Express. And Alfie, I thought that was awesome.
