people smoking in public places, telemarketers who call nonstop, waitresses giving me a kids menu when I am 19!, people dissing country music, people who talk nonstop in class, and finally, people who prank phone call me for no reason

My biggest pet peeve is someone getting on my computer without asking or when they know I need it. But my second biggest pet peeve is people poking on me or I guess touching me in general but I guess it depends on who it is and why and how LOL.

I can't stand the packaging on DVD movies. Is is really necessary to have a sticker on each side of the DVD case after the DVD is already shrinkwrapped? Same goes for CD's...I have opened countless CD's and DVD's and it doesn't get any easier!

I hate getting a new CD into the car and trying to open it without a a sharp instrument ... I normally try to remember to ask the sales clerk to open the sealed side.

I hate people who are so friggin stupid - not mentally challenged people, but people who just don't try hard in anything and who don't think before they act or say something. I also hate the exact opposite - people who just think they know EVERYTHING! I hate people who are so rude and annoying too. Like the people who talk in class while the teacher is talking, and when the teacher stops, they stop and then when the teacher starts back up again, they do too. These are just a few examples, but I could go on and on.

lol, but even people who are 15 do that too! :p What's even more annoying is when they are walking right infront of you (in a Mall or in a school hallway), then they all of a sudden just stop, stand there and not move, and start having conversations with a their friends they ran into or whatever. You push your way through them and they curse at you and say, "What the Hell was HER problem?!"
I am thinking mainly "People" are my pet peeves lol :funny: But I do happen to hate Pop-Up Ads as well :uhh:

She's sooo funny! I loved her in Finding Nemo, even though all she did was the voice of Dory. Dory kinda reminds me of me. This one time I took this test to find out which Finding Nemo character I was, and guess what? Yup, I was Dory :p

I will never forget this one day in grade 9...It was just like a couple weeks into the new school year, and one day it was raining sooo badly outside and I didn't have an umbrella, and I had to walk to school. It was only a 10 or so minute walk to school, but it was raining really hard. Anyway, I walked into the school and I was soaked and I was walking down the hallway to my locker and I passed by one of my teachers and he says "Jenn, you look like a wet rat" and I was like "Gee, thanks" and I went out and bought an umbrella shortly after that. That made me feel sad

Pff, there are quite a number of stuff.... but the one that really annoys me the most and I hate a lot is when people say for example "no". You keep trying to convince them to say "yes", but they still say "no". And then later, with or without a reason, they suddenly say "yes". THAT annoys me like hell.... I really can get angry because of that.. Explaining it is a bit..difficult, but in real-life..:uhh: :scowl:
Also people that brag a lot or are so full of themselves are quite annoying..
That's 2 I can come up with atm.. maybe more later..:)

Pretty much agree with most of this.....especially the female "comedians". Teachers, that's interesting because I'm half way to being one, but actually I dislike most teachers too....you should try sitting in a staff room for an hour at dinner time, it's pure hell. All of them moaning about their jobs, I wanna stand up and say "shut the **** up, get another job......they know they have a good job so they know they are talking rubbish. I will never complain because unlike a lot of them I've done "normal" jobs and I know how much more interesting doing a creative job is compared with sitting in an office like a moron staring at a computer all day. :funny:
I'd like to add the following to the list:
Wasps
Moths
Bus Drivers
Mariah Carey (any Diva-behaviour types)
Simply Red
Very religious people (not real religious people, e.g. the pope, they are ok), I mean people that only are religious so they can get to heaven.... :funny: People who do "good work for the church" and then are complete ******** to everyone else because they think they are guaranteed a place "up there". :funny:

I totally understand what you are saying about the "religious people"...I feel the same way.
Question: What's wrong with bus drivers? I have come across a few bad ones in my entire life because I rely on the bus for transportation everywhere I go, but most of them are nice. I have held conversations with them before and they are quite funny sometimes. Oooh I thought of a funny story! You know how when one bus passes by another bus, they always wave to each other? I guess this one time, these two bus drivers weren't friends or something because instead of a friendly wave, they flipped eachother off :funny: :p It was soo funny because I had never seen that before. I thought the weirdest thing was when I saw bus drivers stick their tongues out at each other, but they laughed afterwards, so I knew they were kidding around. These two really seemed p*ssed at one another :uhh: Other than the odd butt-hole driver who didn't get "some" last night and decides to take that out on other people, they are very nice.
I don't know, maybe its just English ones......being a driver I find that they cut me up, never say thanks when I let them through and are generally always in bad moods. My sister got hit by a bus in her car last year and the bus driver could have avoided the accident but decided to keep going and hope she would get out of the way - it went to court and he won. My Grandad was asked for proof of being a pensioner (over 65), it's obvious he's a pensioner, he just couldn't get his ID card out fast enough. Another time a bus set off before he had got on and he fell and hit his head......
I once had an exam at uni, and the bus ride had cost 52pence the previous time. I didn't know fares had gone up to 57pence and the driver got awkward. I only had the exact change and he wouldn't give, so I said OK I'll go as far as 52 pence will take me, thinking it would be the stop before the one at uni. Half way there, he stopped the bus and told me that my ride ends here! So I was late for my exam because I had to walk half of the way, not to mention I was totally exhausted, not what you want when you have an exam.
I think that's enough reasons! :funny:

Whoa ...that sucks man. But yeah I'd say that is enough reasons to hate bus drivers lol.
I dont like buses either, but i think its more the state of the buses when you're on them that i dont like. Im yet to get on a bus that isnt dirty  and they're never on time. Im not a driver so them cutting people off doenst bother me, but i can understand why people get annoyed by them.
(kinda related) I think really old people who drive are annoying and dangerous!

One of my biggest pet peeves occured to me last night. Last night, I went to the Alan Jackson and Sara Evans concert. I love Sara Evans, so when she came out on stage, I stood up and started singing and clapping along to the music. We had box seats (not up high, but on the floor) and people in front of us were standing up, too. So, by her 2nd song, I was really groovin' and having a great time, when I feel a tap on my shoulder. It was one of the ushers, and she said, "The people behind you wanted to know if you could sit down. They can't see." Now, there were two huge jumbo screens to the right and to the left of me, so they could see fine. Really ticked off, I sat down. I HATE THAT!!! Here's my opinion when you're at a concert: If the people in front of you are standing up and having a really good time, and you really want to see the stage, then you can get up out of your seat and stand up, too! That's what your supposed to do at a concert anyway! If you don't care either way, don't be a jerk, and just settle for the jumbo screens. The people behind us didn't even know any of Sara's songs, and I knew every one (except the two new ones she sang from her new album that's coming out October 4th). Either way, Sara did a great job, and she put on a good show! :D Anyways, that's definately one of my pet peeves!
On another note, I don't really like Alan Jackson that much (I only went to the concert really to see Sara Evans :p ), but for his opening thing before he comes out on stage, he shows different clips from all these different award shows where he won awards, and they showed a clip from the CMA Awards from 2002 where Shania presented him with an award! I screamed so loud when they showed her on the screen, my parents thought I was gonna have a heart attack! :D It was cool! :D

Ahh people at concerts.... I have really only had trouble at one concert I have been to though. In March of 2004, I went to see Nickelback. The couple that ended up sitting infront of us were totally smashed/wasted/drunk. They didn't sit down at all!! The chick kept dancing like a friggin idiot the whole time - nothing wrong with dancing to the songs, but she was even dancing during the breaks and when the band was talking. She was screaming and waving to them (like as if they could see her). We asked the husband or boyfriend to tell this chick to like calm down a little because she was really wild and with her arms waving all over, we couldn't see the stage much. He just cursed at us and he began dancing too. Even the people behind us were angry with this couple because they were so annoying. Me and my brother had purchased posters and we pretended to play this couple as drums with the rolled up posters - pretending to hit them with every beat of the drum that was in the song. People behind us were laughing. The chick was so smashed she never noticed us doing this, but the guy did and he got mad, but we had to have a little fun ourselves :p

I feel just the opposite about people standing - when I took my 10 year old granddaughter to Shania's concert in Cincinnati at a hockey arena we had floor seats (last row) and the crowd stood for the whole concert and my granddaughter could not see over them - the usher would not permit her to stand on her chair nor in the aisle, to see, so she spent most of the concert viewing only the jumbo screens..and was disappointed as was I..the ushers never even tried to get the crowd seated...

Didn't the concert have ushers or bouncers or whatever to keep the audience under control?
Funny thing was, I knew the usher and he was laughing at us pretending to play this couple as drums. I guess you can't stop people from dancing and jumping up and down like a moron because he didn't do anything. If they had been like shinning lasers in our face or something, then I would have told him. The reason I say lasers is because one time at a hockey game there was someone who was shinning a laser from behind us infront of us....like the dot was infront of us so it was coming from behind. Whenever we'd turn around to see who it was, they stopped. We told the usher and she said she'd "keep an eye out". Of course whenever the usher would turn around, the laser would be on again. Well, my bro eventually caught the person who was doing this and it was like a 15-year-old girl and he said "Can you knock it off with the laser please, its REALLY annoying" and the father was like "Don't you f-ing talk to my daughter! She can do whatever she wants!" Then my bro got mad :funny: He was yelling so loud and everyone around us were cheering him on and the father threatened to beat my brother up and he was like "Bring it on buddy!". I swear a fight was going to break out in the stands, not just on the ice :p My brother wouldn't have actually fought the stupid twirp because he's not like that, but it was sooo annoying. Besides, after he said "Bring it on buddy!", the guy shut up and the laser stopped. My brother is over 6 feet tall and almost 240 pouds (or more) and this loser was like 5'11 and as skinny as a cigarette.
So I guess there are worse things for an usher to deal with than a couple drunken dancing fools. Oh yeah, funny thing about that laser thing - the next time we went to a hockey game, the arena has this electronic display of who's coming there and how no cameras are allowed and blah blah, well I noticed they had added "Camcorders, cameras and lasers are prohibited at this event" LMAO!!!

A good tip to use if you hate telemarketers - try and sell THEM something. Like a slight-used but like brand new tissue you found in your ex-boyfriends dumpster behind his apartment for $5.
My brother is funny when it comes to telemarketers. I may have told this story before, but it's still funny. He answered the phone and she started yacking to him and he interrupted and said
Brother: "Umm, now really isn't a good time"
Chick: "Well when would be a good time?"
Brother: "What time does your office close?"
Chick: "At 6 o'clock"
Brother: "Okay, call me at 8 then" and he hung up. LOL :funny:
Another time he answered and the person started saying like "Would you be interested in..." and he screamed "F - - - OFF!!" and hung up. He had been expecting his friends to call that day, but everytime he answered the phone (which was like 10 times within a couple hours), it was a darn telemarketer. I know they are just doing their jobs, but seriously, they should get better ones! I don't know one person that has actually ever listened to a full sentence of what these people have to say or offer.

Nice poster Sean! I kind of disagree with that too, lol! There's never anyone I agree with all the way. There's no such thing as a woman's "place," just as there's no such thing as a man's "place!" I was watching Wife Swap the other day (good for a laugh once in a while) and there was a family where the wife worked and the husband stayed home with the kids. The other family thought this was outrageous and that "the woman should stay home with the kids" and that "the man should make the living." I was appalled. How can someone be so closedminded that there's a way that the man and woman "should" spend their days???? As long as one spouse manages to make ends meet and put food on the table for the faimly, and one spouse makes sure the kids have a parent at home with them and that the house doesn't fall into disrepair, WHO CARES WHO GOES TO WORK AND WHO STAYS HOME??????????? IT SHOULD BE THE WAY THE HUSBAND AND WIFE BOTH DECIDE, NOT WHAT A COMPLETE STRANGER THINKS!!!!!

The other pet peeves I have are people who have to swear everytime they say something. Its very annoying. I wish swear words were banned as its not even proper English to me. Also, people who don't drive properly like don't signal when they are turning in their car and tail gaters are very annoying to me. Its foolish driving. I have driven for over 20 years and have a clean driving record. I wish others would be that way too. Some don't deserve to have a license especially if they do stupid things like drinking and driving.

Yeah, I'm an equal rights type of person. The women, men, people of other sexual preferences, other races, cultures...all of them.
But what REALLY gets me is irresponsible dog owners. Two people's dogs got loose today and approached Cassie. One attacked and the other (who was my algebra teacher's dog....that was weird) was completely friendly and loveable. I don't mind off leash dogs, but they'd better be completely friendly and under owner control. And the worst part was the dog that attacked's owner...ugh he was nasty to me.

I know, and then there's the people who actually do get in trouble for it and then get no jail time or fine, or get the minimum punishment. How's it different than child abuse?? Abusing something that can't speak for itself (depending on how young the child is) or can't help itself is WRONG whether it's a child or a dog.

The only thing I can think of is that they have 3 little kids in the house, and the dogs are big. But still, it's no excuse to leave those dogs outide all the time!

These are just a few examples, but I could go on and on.
me too another one is people who ignore crosswalks, I yell at them!!
I HATE when people kick my chair in class or anywhere else for that matter. I also hate when people say "just make your dog come up to me...she has no reason to be afraid!" ummm....HELLO she's been abused, so I ain't gonna force her! And my biggest pet peeve is when people leave their dogs in their backyard for long periods of time- over night, more than an hour (unless you're there with them), or even...PERMANENTLY! How inhumane!

I also hate when people make a remark that is disrespectful, then say "oh, I was only being stereotypical!" As if that's ANY BETTER!!
For example (hey, you said pet peeves, lol):
Today we had class president speeches, and my kinda-sorta-really hate her but feel bad if I'm mean-friend says "don't vote for her, she's so stupid she may as well be blonde".
