Okay, I'll probably get into trouble here because all the guys know so much about racing and stuff... and I know hardly anything... I just wanted to ask if anyone else likes Formula 1! Because I do! My favorite driver is little Schumi II Ralfi and I'm so proud of him cos he won the last race!!! http://www.shaniaforums.com/love.gif My favorite team isn't Sauber as you might think (being Swiss and all http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif), but Williams/BMW and Ferrari. I`m a major F1 fan and have been since 1995. 1996 when Damon Hill won the championship was the first full year I had watched. Out of all the current drivers I think Eddie Irvine is one of the more interesting ones due to the fact that he always speaks his mind. Its quite refreshing to find someone who does that, especially in F1 when so many people just tow the corporate line.

As for best drivers, I`m not really sure but Coulthard, Montoya and both the Schumachers are what I would term as hard racers, they actually make an effort to overtake people rather than just relying on a good pitstop strategy to do it.

My favourite team is probably Jordan-Honda because they know how to enjoy themselves while at the same time being a pretty good racing team http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

And just in case Silvia didnt know, from the next race there will be another Spanish driver in Formula 1 again. Pedro de la Rosa is making his race debut for Jaguar after Burti joined Prost to replace Mazzacane.

One thing I really like about Schumi (Michael) is the way he has changed through the years! He used to be so unfriendly and arrogant and look at him now! He's a kitten! *lol* Okay, I know it's probably just an image thing, but I think he's really nice now!

I enjoy watching F1 races.

I used to follow it alot, when Gilles Villeneuve (Jacques's father) was racing. I went to see the races in Montreal 3 years in a row back then, I loved it. The speed, the noise made my insides vibrate, so COOL!

Gilles was born in my home province, a Quebecer, we were all so proud. He did great, racing for Ferrari.

But when Gilles died in an F1 crash, my interest in the F1 circuit kind of dwindle down. I still enjoy watching a race here and there. I don't have a favorite. Except for maybe Silvi even though she doesn't race F1.
