nationalities and languages [Archive]

I was thinking it would be good to learn the names of all the nationalities and the names of the languages too. I know I dont know much of all the nationality words.
ex. I'm Icelandic, I am an Icelander I speak Icelandic

I could also say I'm British, I am a Brit and I speak English.

But seriously, I speak Scots, and English.

And I know a little* Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, Danish, Dutch. :uhh:

* mostly some basic words & phrases. :p :p

I am Canadian of Irish decent. I speak English and like so many other Anglophones in this country failed misserabley in French. I was so bad my teacher actually put in my report card sean should never take another french class again. :p

We speak almost the same languages... I just speak german in stead of French:p And then Danish too of course.

Perhaps to be that it ya some particular words between English of the USA, Canada, the U.K., Australia or others! in Marseilles and Paris one speaks French but there are local particularisms.

for exemple: nobody(english) ,personne(french), dégun (marseille)

Thanks Mariana:D Yes I'm doing very good at classes, I've been very busy these days working and having exposition in classes and lotsa homework but I give myself a time to stay here:D See ya there:D
