Hey everyone I hope everyone is doing great! My name is sharin and I just turned 22 I'm an aspring singer and Shania has always been my role model since I can remember. I went through cancer and her story and my want to reach my dreams (and God) kept me strong in my most difficult moments. I just wanted to ask you guys I'm latin and my family is all of hispanic descent from Dominican Republic but I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEE country music! Ever since I was little i would sing REba songs. What do you think about me being a country singer? I would greatly appreciate your opinion I wouldn't get offended with anything. I don't think it matters where in the world you come from as an idication of someones talent. I would have to hear you first and listen to how you do your thing.

If you're a good singer then it doesn't matter what you sing.
However as it's been said we can't form an opinion if we can't hear you.

I do think if the music is in your heart, if you feel it and if you understand it , the rest should take care of itself.

Hey guys thanks soo much for you insight. Well I feel this stuff for sure! I just was too shy to even attempt it in this area. This is in my plans for the future. I'm right now breaking in to the latin pop market but the only thing i can compare the intellectual, harmonical, and moral essence of latin musics ballads are with country music. I've never liked this rap stuff or hip hop crowd. My mom raised me listening to harmony in the car and stuff. This is the first time I had the guts to ask people this. I have moral values and the regular pop world doesn't respect that country does and i can sing beautifully with all my heart with words that touch and be recognized and inspire, and still look and present my self descent, you can't really do that in the regular. , it's like extinct.
