Advertising at ShaniaForums

Many of you have written us over the past few months about pop-up ads that run here at Shania Forums. As you know, maintaining the bandwidth and servers to keep the Forums on-line isn't free, even though your access to this one-of-a-kind community is. In today's advertising market, this means that we must accept pop-up ads from our advertisers.
In order to protect your systems, we have eliminated all of the pop-ups that contain any downloadable software. Please let us know if you find any ad at Shania Forums or any Roughstock site that has downloadable software.
In return for helping to improve your site viewing pleasure, we hope that you will support our advertisers by clicking on ads that interest you, and purchasing our advertisers' products when you can.

If somebody in the future will have a complaint about an ad that is clearly in the wrong place like a long 'side' ad on top etc, you are free to PM me, or send an e-mail to OldCowhand.
Pop-up frequency varies depending on individual location, machine, settings, software, browsers and possible blocking tools/methods, and of course from the ads that happen to be in circulation at the moment.
