Assistant Principal Killed, 2 Adults Hurt In Tenn. School Shooting

JACKSBORO, Tenn. -- Officials in Tennessee say a student shot and killed an assistant principal at a Jacksboro high school.
Rachel Woods, a spokeswoman for the state Education Department, identified the dead man as Campbell County High School Assistant Principal Ken Bruce. She said another assistant principal as well as the principal were wounded in the shooting.
Woods said Principal Gary Seale was injured while trying to take the student into custody. The student was arrested.
Woods said Seale is in serious condition, and Assistant Principal Jim Pierce is in critical condition.
The school is about 30 miles northwest of Knoxville.
Parents rushed to building to take their children home after the shooting.
No students were reported injured.
