G'Day to Shania Fans from 'Downunder',

I need heeeeeelp pleeeeease. I am a retired Ship's Captain with 6 Daughters and a married son. We are all huge fans of Shania. I would dearly love to purchase some bottles of Shania by Stetson perfume for my girls Christmas presents. However after exhaustive inquiries through Coty and other US outlets I 'm advised that the perfume is only available in America. Can anyone help me. Sincerely, Cap'n Dave

Hi Captain Dave. Most of the stores overseas that stock Shania perfume do not ship internationally such as Walmart,Walgreens and Sears. Also you will need to check with your customs regulations and customs website in Australia because in NZ, perfume is considered a dangerous, prohibited item due to the ingredients contained within perfume and the spray bottles. Last year they had customs opening up any parcels containing perfume on the news and the perfumes were donated to charities or discarded since they did not comply with customs regulations. You would probably be better off to go for the perfumed Shania gels because you should be able to get them into Australia but you may have to ask one of the fans nicely if they could help you. If you are wanting some nice Shania related presents for your girls you could maybe go for the rashguard smoothie tops similar to those that Shania wore on her tour at www.bikini-beach.com just click on Bodyglove. They ship internationally and are very efficient. Maybe also try the Shania Twain Centre store www.shaniatwaincentre.com, www.amazon.com, www.hmv.com.au or www.sanity.com.au have some imported Shania cd singles. Don't forget the Shania biography by Robin Eggar that would be a nice gift for christmas. You could maybe try e-bay for the Shania perfumed gels. Good Luck. I wish I could be of more help.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I'm glad to help. Another website you could try for Shania goodies in Australia and I haven't shopped there before is a site called www.rarerecords.com.au. Just type in Shania Twain. They have some Shania Twain cd singles although they are expensive probably because some of them are hard to find now.

I can't really help you with getting the perfume, but I am a 'Dangerous Goods Specialist' at my job and perfume is considered a dangerous good and cannot be shipped 'legally' through the mail (although people do it all the time). :smirk:

I'm sure you'll get it one way or another! :)

I have the perfume. It's ok, not my favorite. I mainly got it because it's Shania's perfume. :p
