I have a question for Canadians & posably everyone else.
This topic IS NOT intended to start political wars or anything!!! GOT THAT?!

Okay, because I live in the US, I refer to myself as an "American".
I was just curious, if Canadians refer to themselves as "Americans" OR "Canadians"?
Just a question that's been buggin' me for awhile!

Well...I think we consider ourselves Canadians! I do... but I hear alot of Canadians calling themselves Americans! That's weird....So I really don't know.. http://www.shaniaforums.com/rolleyes.gif

Well Nate we call ourselves Canadian most definetly. But there are few here who have anti-American feelings. So, almost all Canadians like your nieghbors to the South ok. When you have an election down there I always joke who is our president going to be, because our economy is so closely tied to yours.

o.k we do call ourselves Canadians and yes some people that lives in Canada call themselves Americans but why i think they do it because they were born in the the U.S.A so therefore that makes them Americans not Canadians. and when Americans decide to come live in Canada they still are Americans so therefore they call themselves Americans still.
