Shania heart glows, her physical beauty stems from within.
That's the best way I can put it, I am mad for her not only because she is gorgeous, makes great music and is a great entertainer, but she is a great person with many admirable qualities.
Shania's like a strawberry cream, tasty on the outside, sweet on the inside. :D

Oh yeah I'm totally in the dark about that, we all know how I like to stay focused on the topic and never ever ever deviate from that such topic. :p
By the way you guys should get paid just for keeping me in line. :p
Sure, send me a check Sean :p ...I can just hear it: "The check is in the mail" :p
Anyways, to the subject of the thread :p
Most of the times I am a normal 'realistic' fan, but the time I clearly noticed a change in me, was when I attended her concerts. That made me Shania mad (interesting choise of words, btw :p).
I noticed others fell under the same magic too, many who had originally thought attending only one concert, went and got tickets to other concerts too. Lots of Europeans went to Florida for the last concerts, as the need for more got too overwhelming. Shania concerts are addictive :p
Especially if your first concert was in Hyde Park 2003 ;)
Well I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes me Shania mad. I love her music and I think she is beautiful inside and out but there is something else and I don't know what it is. I do look up to her a lot so that might have something to do with it, but I'm not really sure.
Sure, send me a check Sean :p ...I can just hear it: "The check is in the mail" :p

I can relate to what you say, Marika. Normally I am not Shania mad. I love her music but in times when there is nothing new I just move on to other music. But those concerts are special. I experienced a real high at the concerts, expecially when I went with other fans, which was all of the Up! concerts. And yeah, I got hooked on them. So I went to all the Ontario concerts and one in Montreal. I had been to the very first Up! concert so I seriously thought about going to the last concert. But there were other things going on in my life at the time
Now I started to really miss the concerts :p
The incredible charisma Shania radiates on stage, the energy, party feeling, the incredible band interacting with the fans....*sigh*

I said you guys should get paid, I didn't say nothing about me footing the bill. :p By the way I thought mail would be slow, so I throw it into a bottle and I hope its gets to you by the next millennium. :p
I agree with you about the concerts, I know after I went to the two from Up, nothing else seemed as good. For the longest time I just wanted to go too another concert. The Atmosphere and the fact I was just at the concert made it something special. Theres something so special about being in the same building as her, singing along with her. I didn't even get too meet her so that would probably just add to things. :p

In that sense, I guess I'm not "Shania mad", then... :p
...still sitting comfortably with 2 witnessed performances: Hyde Park & Helsinki...

Yep, go to one concert and most of us just have to go to another. My family thought I was nuts going to six of the Up! concerts. But I enjoyed them all. The thrill does not lessen with each concert.

The thrill does not lessen with each concert.I agree with ya, it didn't lessen for me at all. Afterwords it always felt like what do I do now, how does a person go back to regular life after an experiance like that. It felt really good being at the concert, afterwards everything else seemed kinda empty. Like it wasn't as fun or something, I know it sounds weird and its weird trying to say how the concerts made me feel something and I don't know what or how too put it.
Now I started to really miss the concerts :p

Maybe we should have a Shania support session for people who miss the concerts, I think there is enough of us. :p

Too say I wasn't jealous would be a complete lie. Man I envy you and you must have made some frequent flyer miles. :D
Man I envy you and made you must have some frequent flyer miles. :D
Actually I only flew to reach 4 of the concerts, all COO concerts. Most of them I either drove to, used subways, or rode Amtrak the US national railroad to reach the concert.
Although I did rack up quite a few Amtrak frequent rider miles. :)

Almost log more time on the train than the engineer. :p

Actually it’s even worse and more confusing John, since she forgot that there were two JP’s at fancon. So now I’m not sure if the other JP is also JP too. :uhh: :D

Yes, that's who I'm referring to.
How could you forget Shania singing "You are the wind beneath my wings" to him? One of the highlights of any fancon! :)
I think the accent went the wrong way
I forgot because I was initially thinking FanCon participants, not guest speakers :uhh:
Oh yes, that performance video was absolutely awesome :D :D
