HI, I'm new to this forum and I'm a huge fan of Shania's. I recently found a cartoon on the web that was supposedly drawn by Shania on a visit to her hometown, Timmins, a few years ago. Does anyone know if she did, indeed draw this?

The picture doesn't show up for me, but I guess the cartoon is made by Dax!

Well, it's not a Dax cartoon. I've never seen it before, but my guess would be no. But I don't really know why...

I was on a website that has a forum for people of Ontario, Canada to discuss topics (not a Shania site). I am from Thunder Bay, and I was chatting with some folks from Timmins, several of whom know her well and some who don't know her at all. One of the people who supposedly knows her posted this cartoon, and I decided to save it.

Maybe Tom (Tower) could offer some input on this...he is a Scotsman transplanted to Timmins and seems to know many inside stories about Shania....

No Shania didn't draw that and That is not one of Dax's drawings :) Dax does the best ones :)

Dax doesn't make Shania's hair yellow and Shania's hair is not yellow, Dax draws a perfect Shania figure wheres as that pic no way looks like Shania...So yeh.

I've looked at this toon a few times and I still don't get the second frame. Are those his hands at the top?

Nope new to me. Given the very private nature of Eilleen Twain when she is not doing the Shania Superstar bit, I would very much doubt this would be hers. I can count on the fingers of two hands the number of confirmed Public Shania posts on the Internet in the last 12 years.

If you post the URL where you first saw this, I may know the person who posted it as Timmins is a very small City.

OMG! Those are his feet! LOL! Yeah, I guess that makes sense, since he was blasted straight out of his shoes and socks! I hope Shania did this, but the consensus is that she didn't. The way the toes are drawn spread apart and twitching is hilarious!
