Yes, from my list she is missing, for some reason her latest makes me cringe. Don't know the reason.

Too much background noise/instrumentation - bad producers - bad songs - take your pick

Lee Ann's was released February 8th, 2005 :p.....and Keith's was released sometime in 2004.

I don't have Brad's album surprisingly (I do have all of his other ones: 3)...but need to get the latest one. My sister got it, so I think that's the reason I didn't get it lol.... If I had Brad's, I'm sure it would make the list for me. And also Clint Black's Drinkin' Songs & Other Logic I wanted to get so badly..but wasn't able too.....that would most definitely make my list too.

Hanna McEuen - Hanna McEuenI had thought all the time that this was a new female singer, till I looked them up just now and saw it's 2 guys :p
There wasn't a listening party at CMT.com, so don't know what kind of music they make.

They were dropped by the label already, right?

8. "Put the 'O' Back in Country" - Shooter JenningsWhat kind of music is that? What's the name of the first single, I might have heard that... (or not :p)

JustAPrettyFace

Shooter does mostly alternative country, but alternative to the point of a bit on the traditional side. First single was "4th of July". He's the son of Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. :)

Ah, that song name doesn't ring a bell right now...

I get curious when there is a country album on somebody's list I haven't heard of :p

Thanks for filling me in Sarah :)

:funny: :funny: :funny: ....I've had someone on another board who thought it was a solo female artist too :p ....but nope, it's a newer country duo.
Go here (http://www.brooks-dunn.com/iboard/index.php?showtopic=7061) to see a thread I made with more info about them :)

They're both cousins: each sons of different Nitty Gritty Dirt Band members and sons of two twin sisters....that in itself is cool. Their voices are really great....they also play a lot of their own instruments on the record! :D

From what I've heard, Shooter sounds more rock than he is country. I do love his "4th of July" song though...sounds very Eagles-ish

Only a few songs of Shooter's are more rock, some songs are REALLY country. But I love it all! Alt-Country is "ello, ello, ello, ello vee ee." :p

And never knew that about Hanna-McEuen... or however the heck you spell their name. I like them, though.

that's cool: now you and your female cousin need to start a country music duo :p

Sara, I used to like Shooter more, but I saw his special on CMT, and he was rude towards some of his fans, so I lost interest in him. I do love Waylon's music though ;) :p...

I was wondering if I would be right or not that there was a female cousin :funny:....

hey, find a girl and a guy and with you, then you guys could be like Sugarland...:p (only kidding of course)...I'd prefer you guys though :]
