You might want to search Twain when you go on Facebook. :shocked:
If you join certain networks, view their friends, and figure out who is connected to who...you'll access certain profiles and see some interesting pics. :shocked:

Personally, I hate Facebook. I think it's kind of annoying and I have one (to keep in touch with some folkdancers) but I only get on to talk to them- and I hate getting on it.

Sort of. It's less "decorative" (you can't make your page look pretty) and you pretty much have to say what school you go to, where you live, your last name, etc. I don't have my last name on there (only my middle initial) and I do have my school, but only my friends can see that part. It's really annoying because it tells everyone exactly what you did when. For example, "Jenna commented on so and so's picture from the "Summer" album at 11:55 am"

I don't do Facebook, or Hi5, or WAYN, or Flodeo, or other such sites....there's hundreds of them I'm sure. It's just gets to be too much after awhile. I do have a MySpace...but I never go there unless I've gotten a message from somebody.

There is a privacy feature on there, when you do comment on peoples walls or pictures... the news isn't posted in the news feed section. I Personally think it's silly to have people seeing what you comment on obviously you do it so that other's can see whats up with you and your friends the instant somethings going on. You can have that privacy to not have those things posted or even groups you join for that matter. It is slowly adding more "myspace" type applications like a top friends feature and slideshows. And there is a new system rather than poking your friends you can type in an action for them like I want to "kiss you" or just type in something random and funny for them to read when they log in and others can get you back, it's called the X Me Application, they keep having all these applications added to facebook. The thing about facebook is that it is more business oriented friendly, co workers can set up events, list important things if they're looking to hire people, many things are very business oriented about the site. But it's a great way to knpow whats up in your area and meet people in your area and keeping in touch with friends away at college, game stats for universities etc.

I enjoy it it's fun and you can control a lot of your privacy on there more so than myspace.

One of my husbands friends uses Facebook for shearing photos, we put some of our photos on his face book we want our friends to see, I know quite a lot of others on facebook and they seem to enjoy it, I might go on facebook but there are a few people out there I would rather avoid from the past.

I love Facebook and I must admit - I'm kinda addicted to it lol. It's just that I've found so many of my old classmates and friends who I lost touch with, and it's amazing to see how much they've changed (not all in good ways unfortunately) :D

At first I didnt like Facebook because it seemed so ugly and boring compared to MySpace, but once I discovered all the privacy settings it had, I was hooked. It just made me feel more secure than MySpace, and over time, Facebook has added applications to make your profile more exciting. Although I've got some friends who have felt the need to like literally add all the apps making their profiles very slow to load! It's quite annoying!

But for the most part, most of my friends havent gone overboard with the apps and use their profiles for the way they were meant to be used...as an easy and fun way to keep in touch :)
