My Keith Urban, East Lansing Pics and review!

Hey Alls

I was fortunate to see Mr. Urban(aka entertainer of the year ;) ) last night
for my second time,, you thought my last Keith pictures were just swell well take wait till you scroll down this time,, I've done some tweaking with my Camera since that last show and well I nailed the settings with the help of friend/fellow concert going buddie Grant.

Soo the show,, PAT GREEN"And the winner of the Chicken Dinner is" :D remember that introduciton on that award show,, haha oh good god this guy is soo funny in concert also,, Now when Wave on Wave was released a couple years back I kind've got tired of hearing it daily on country radio,, well since then he's released some kickazz songs and they are not getting the airplay like I thought they should have,, I might just have to pick up his latest CD,, I liked his country music alot last night.. Soo thumbs up to Green,, he's a comedian on Stage and had the whole crowd into it and laughing bigtime!! Alot better opening act than little big town,,
alot better in my eyes..

I went to this show by myself,,my michigan concert friends had other obligations,, thats ok I made a couple friends next me,, Kimme and her daughter(name slips my mind sorry gals) This was there first Keith Show,, It was great talking to you both,, I love sitting next to fans that aprriciate the Artist there seeing. :D . I offered Kimmie email exchanges soo they can view these pics,,like I like to do with other people around me from time to time,, When she saw what was showing up on my viewfinder well we both got excited,, I said to her these are gonna rock before we left,, I had a great feeling about them..

We had a section in the lower bowl about 5 rows up right to the left of the stage,, at times Keiths stage was only five feet away from the railing,, very good stage layout for many fans. There's a point in the show which I did not see at the fox theatre where keith gets airborn and travels to the back of the floor and there's a platform where he performs three songs I think.. He said when he irst landed,, soo now how do you like your seats? Front Row!!! hehe.. Great stage layout for arena's like this,, The Concert was a complete Sellout!!

Keith rules I've said that a few times,, I'll add some Comments to certain pics as I post them There's certain Guitar solo's I captured pretty dang Sweet,, I thought to myself as I was taking them that I think I just caught all that.. well I did,, hehe.

As with all my concert posts these pictures as you scroll down are exactly like the concert unfolds.. Soo here's 185pics :shocked: but hey I took over 400,,hehe I only post the ones that look artistic and clear and only make the artist look great.. And tonight I had a great night all around!!

The next 14 pics is the coolest part of the show I forget what song this solo
is too and if you know let me know,, but during this solo Keith comes over
to our side of the stage A halo of lights slowly comes down on him like a
spaceship or something,, the lights just spotlight him while his Wails on his
guitar,, just one of many Wow :shocked: part's of the show!! shaking

Thanks Yassy, yeah those Girls gotta still be flying high that were onstage,, they were in a section right to the left of me,, it was fun seeing the high fives they were getting coming back to there seats,,

Oh and Nicole kidman was at this show,, I did not see her personally but two different people in reviews on the keithurban.net website posted in there they saw Nicole at the soundboard throughout the show.. Soo pretty cool she was there..

Yes Steve, some great pictures in that long batch. I can believe your note that it took 7 hours for you
to compose and post all those.

I would probably never have known about Keith Urban and a few other special country performers in the
last 2-3 yrs, if it hadn't been for contact with my friends who are fans of Shania Twain. I've liked
some special country songs over the years, but Country was definitely not my main preference.

Now among the several country stars I've come to appreciate and respect, Keith Urban has music I enjoy,
in his melody, rhythm, harmony, lyrics, hooks and audience participation.

Thanks for sharing, Steve. I'm glad you're finding so many ways to develop your enjoyment of all these
concerts. Some folks consume entertainment and don't do much more. You do a lot more by sharing
your reports, photos and enthusiasm. And you probably accomplish more in the process, than many
will know.

Nearly all of that is good stuff. My old eyes could do with a filter to see maybe a somewhat
smaller number of pics at one session. If I had time, I could almost post your pics as frames into a
movie editor and animate them to see a representative sampling of the actual show. But I'm pretty
careful about respecting musician's proprietary rights, so I wouldn't do that.

I agree with Jasmin, the photos of Keith with the 2 gals on stage were very interesting. But I confess
I didn't have a clue what she meant by Nicole Kidman being lucky. So I googled Nicole Kidman &
Keith Urban. Ahah! So they are an item. Well, for me, doing work I enjoy is like play. So I don't
spend much time watching other people's lives, including the stars. But I've added below, a link
to a news report about Nicole & Keith. (btw, I like it when you add a note to what the pictures
are about, Steve. That helps a lot.)

BOB!!! Sorry its taken me a couple days to respond,, I Was blown away as always with your kind words to me here when I first read it...

yeah it has always baffled me that some people go to these shows and don't post pictures,, I mean who else are you gonna share them with,, imidiate family, friends,, sure but why not share them with fellow fanatics of music or a particular artist,, these are the people who get the most enjoyment out of them..

I've said it before Live music rules and when you have the best in the business at there form of music,, such as Shania and Keith and Sara well too me there shows are addiciting,, the shows just attack your senses of all things good.. then you have the great people most of these country artist are off the stage,,, just sooo humble and gracious with the three I mentioned above.. like I said just very addicting,,, just fortunate were alive witnessing there lives bringing us music that will last forever..

And yeah bob on the Slideshow,, thanks for the idea/offer,, actually hehe I have a program on my computer to make a DVD like that with slide show and Music and such,, I've done it before just for my personal viewing no selling..

And yeah Nicole kidman was actaully at this show,, there were reports by two different reviewers on keithurbanfans.net they saw her in the sound booth.. yeah me neither on the personal lives,, not interested,, I just want the guitar solo's and the pictures I take capturing it.
