Absolutely! Dildo is in Newfoundland. Surveys consistently show that Newfoundlanders are the most sexually active Canadians. Draw your own conclusions!

Must be the fish. :p
Canada has more than its share of strange names. Besides Dildo, Newfoundland also offers up the following names of municipalities: Come-By-Chance, Blow-Me-Down, Nameless Cove, Empty Basket and Harbour Harbour.
The Nova Scotia has its share: Whycocomagh, Ecum Secum and Necum Teuch.
Sean I think you didn't mention Medicine Hat in your province (or did you?)
A lot of Canadian cities derive from aboriginal names. Since some of them are so common we tend to forget that. I think they are quite beautiful: Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Wasaga Beach. Is Saskatoon an aboriginal name?
A lot of Canadian cities just steal their name from the old country: Paris, London, Hamilton, Windsor, Stratford, Kingston and Perth - just to name a few. This shows no imagination at all!
