Is anybody else getting a stack overflow box pop up after clicking on the threads? Not sure what is wrong.

I came on here for a couple of mins this morning when I was in college, the minute the page loaded I got that message. I've never got it at home but I use a Mac here and a different internet explorer.

nope I don't have that problem, but my computer is better protected than the white house ;)

I'll hope the problem will be fixed soon...

In computer science, a stack is a temporary data structure based on the principle of Last In First Out (LIFO). Stacks are very widely and extensively used in modern computer systems, and are usually implemented through a combination of hardware and software features.

Stack pointers may point to the origin of a stack or to a limited range of addresses either above or below the origin (depending on the direction in which the stack grows); however, the stack pointer cannot cross the origin of the stack. In other words, if the origin of the stack is at address 1000 and the stack grows downwards (towards addresses 999, 998, and so on), the stack pointer must never be incremented beyond 1000 (to 1001, 1002, etc.). If a pop operation on the stack causes the stack pointer to move past the origin of the stack, a stack underflow occurs. If a push operation causes the stack pointer to increment or decrement beyond the maximum extent of the stack, a stack overflow occurs.

...so, it's an IE stack memory addressing related problem - usually occurs with offending JavaScript commands on a web page... and this is most often with Internet Explorer (Micro$oft) - because, as we all know, M$ doesn't go by the standard JS... rather they create their own all the time...

Options how to get rid of the problem:

1) Use another browser: Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, etc.

2) Wait for a new version or update from M$

3) Get a Mac

I am getting bombarded with these stack overflow boxes this morning. I don't want to change browsers. This is a fairly new occurance to me and I'm not sure why its happening now all of the sudden when it never did in the past.

Here too. I've been getting them with every click now the last few days.

But I'm noticing that the Sponsor ad on the right does not show when I get the message.
