Take your time and follow the instructions. After reading each window, "click" on the boy in the lower right corner. You will be amazed and no, I don't know how it's done... YET, but I'm sure I won't stop thinking about it now until I figure it out!

Nice avatar, RIDER PRIDE EH! My mom wants me too dump her ashes on the 50 yard line at Taylor Feild. I can just imagine getting my butt thrown in jail for that. :p

Thanks for the link. :D

I don't get it. What is it supposed to do?

After the subtraction part, you are to circle a number. Eventually at the end, the number you circled is revealed...or it's supposed to be....

Yeah that didn't work for me, I stumped it. WOOHOO!!!!

That's cool Sean, way to go!!! What numbers did you go with? Just curious.

I went with 5672, and rearranged them I put 7526. That gave me 1854 and I circled the 5. When I do it, it keeps giving me 9.

I've tried it more than once, cause I thought I did. Still doesn't come up the same.

LOL

I chose 2 different numbers and when I subtracted them both answers had the numbers 4 5 0 9 in them. Maybe something to do with that?

9.......that's the magic number!

I'm learning all these weird Maths patterns for my teaching, I never knew all this stuff at school. They are pretty amazing. Like number 9, you think its just a regular number but actually its pretty special. How do you know if a number is divisible by 9? What ever it is, add all the digits together and if they come to 9 it will divide.

For example: Will 215 divide by 9?

No, add 2+1+5=8.

Will 18 divide by 9? Yes, 8+1=9.
Will 360 divide by 9? Yes, 3+6+0=yep, 9!
99? 9+9=18. Then do 1+8=9.

Sorry about my geek moment there. I'm losing it, getting excited about Maths.

Anyway these mind reader things are purely how numbers work in Maths......no tricks involved! Kids think you are amazing but these things often have easy methods.
