In St. Louis right now, at a friend's apartment, and man, has it been a hell of a day. One of the biggest tornado outbreaks on record, numerous injuries and deaths, tons of reports, and quite a bit of damage. An incredible day, including seeing the end of one of the tornadoes earlier. Very significant weather outbreak.

I believe a few storms are to roll through here tonight, and they will probably be severe. A few tor-warned storms are going on right now, including one north of here by a few counties. A few more storms from the southwest are set to come here as well.

Exhausted as hell, but I'm afraid to fall asleep and miss something. There's also some highly severe weather expected to hit my home area of NW Ohio today.

The weather radio just went off a few minutes ago. Tornado watch until 7am CST.

Gotta go.

We just went through a rough round of storms this morning here in SE Michigan! There was even a TORNADO WATCH!!!! Thankfully, the storms are gone for now, but my backyard is flooded!

Be careful, Caleb.

There is more strange weather in the US. Southern California and Arizona got snow. I remember the last time LA got snow because it was the day before we changed planes there on our way to New Zealand. That was in December 1987.

I got a feeling there will be some here at some point after the snows melt. I wish everybody the best, I hope there is the number of causalties will be minimal, as well with the damage.

I should be out chasing these storms but all we get this time of year are winter storms! Never under estimate nature.

They just reported on the National that in Canada this has been the warmest winter since they began keeping records. Too bad the leap to spring hasn't been like that. :p Actaully its probably pretty good, whatever helps prevent drougt.

Of course the weather office reports the warmest winter on record but they forgot to point out that before the winter began they were forecasting a colder than average winter!

Yeah I remeber that. My mom knew this though, the farmers almanac had it predicted. That and the fact its supposed to be a wet spring.

the storm pasted still raining a little bit but not to bad but the thunder nearly caused me to jump out of my seat and the lighting was hiting the ground
and oh the wind sounded like my house would blow away .. but it past that is the good news :D i am more scared of a thunder and lighting storm than an tornado..

Glad everything was okay. We had really weird weather at midnight. The temperature was around zero (32F) but we had thunder. Today they are forecasting very strong winds - probably what you got, Maggie.
