Lindsay's Anti-Fan Mail

First Lindsay Lohan got heat exhaustion. Now she's getting flamed.

Just days after the actress was taken to the hospital from the set of her upcoming movie, Georgia Rule, the CEO of Morgan Creek, the production company behind the film, has made it clear that he's not going to accept any drama queen behavior from his star.

In a letter hand-delivered to Lohan at the Los Angeles hotel where she resides and cc'd to her mother, agent and publicist, among others, James G. Robinson cut to the chase, accusing the Mean Girls star of acting like a "spoiled child."

"To date, your actions on Georgia Rule have been discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional," Robinson wrote in his missive, which is available for perusal on the Smoking Gun Website.

"You have acted like a spoiled child and in doing so have alienated many of your coworkers and endangered the quality of this picture," Robinson added, claiming that Lohan's actions had caused "hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage" to the production.

A spokesperson for Morgan Creek Productions confirmed the letter's authenticity, but said the company had no further comment. There was no immediate comment from Lohan's camp.

Robinson, 70, rather savvily informed his 20-year-old talent that he was "well aware" that her "ongoing all night heavy partying" was the reason for her "so-called exhaustion," rather than the illness to which she had attributed her late arrivals and absences from the set.

Lohan's case probably wasn't helped by the fact that she was spotted out on the town mere hours after she was released from the hospital earlier this week. And she showed no signs of slowing--the actress and beau-of-the-moment Harry Morton were also sighted Thursday night at Hollywood hot spot Hyde.

"We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior," Robinson wrote.

It's not the first time that Lohan's health issues have caused problems for her at work.

In 2004, production on Herbie: Fully Loaded was shut down after the actress was hospitalized for five days due to, you guessed it, "exhaustion."

Apparently hoping to avoid a similar scenario, Robinson warned Lohan that if she continued to show up late or not at all to work, the production company would hold her personally accountable, including pursuing monetary damages against her in addition to taking whatever steps necessary to "preserve the integrity of the Georgia Rule Production and Morgan Creek's financial interests."

Robinson's blistering missive calls into question Lohan's recent attempts to distance herself from her "party girl" image.

"I hate the term 'party girl'--I hate it," Lohan told Harper's Bazaar in the magazine's July issue. "I'm in this career for the longevity of it, not just for doing everything too fast and then running out of steam."

Apparently, Lohan has not yet learned the meaning of "Actions speak louder than words."

ACCESS EXCLUSIVE: Dina Lohan Defends Lindsay
"The Wording Was Ridiculous…Maybe He Has Personal Issues With Whomever And It Came Out With My Child. I Don't Know Him. I Can't Judge Him. I Don't Think It Was A Smart Thing To Do To A Young Girl."- Dina Lohan

BURBANK, Calif. (July 29, 2006) -- Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush about the harsh letter Lindsay received from a studio executive and comes to her defense.

The interview airs on Access Hollywood, Monday, July 31, 2006.

Earlier this week, Lindsay received a letter from the CEO of the production company on her current project, "Georgia Rule," scolding her for her "…irresponsible and unprofessional" actions. In response to the letter, Dina told Bush, "The wording was ridiculous." When asked if she thought the executive, James G. Robinson, was out of line and what brought on the unprecedented blast, Dina said, "I feel when you are 19 (years old) it is way out of line… Maybe he has personal issues with whomever and it came out with my child. I don't know him. I can't judge him. I don't think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."

When asked if there was any truth to claims in the letter, Dina came to her daughter's defense saying, "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe."

Dina added, "…I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child…I don't feel it should be aired out and everyone should know. It's personal."

When asked about accusations in the letter that Lindsay's "…ongoing all night heavy partying" was responsible for her not showing up on set, Dina said, "Lindsay gets to work late, OK… She's a human being. There was one day when she was late and they worked the schedule around her. Garry (Marshall, the film's director), Jane (Fonda, her co-star), everybody loves her."

In regards to Lindsay's status, Dina told Access Hollywood, "As far as Lindsay's health is concerned, she's fine and she is back on set." Dina added to Bush, "She will win an Academy Award for this picture… Justice!"

I don't like her much these days so I think the letter was deserved. It's kinda funny to be honest.

I agree with you. She was good in her Parent Trap days. Classic example of childstar-gone-bad.

You're right...her acting and work in that movie was really great, and it was in "Freaky Friday" as well, but she let Hollywood and the parties and everything get to her. It's a bad thing...

Lindsay Lohan wants to perform in Iraq
Wishes to model herself after Marilyn Monroe and entertain troops

NEW YORK - Apparently a bit tired of her party-girl image, Lindsay Lohan says she wants to go to Iraq with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and entertain American troops there.

"I've been trying to go to Iraq with Hillary Clinton for so long. Hillary was trying to work it out, but it seemed too dangerous," Lohan said in an interview in the September issue of Elle magazine, to be released Wednesday.

The 20-year old actress and pop singer said she hoped to emulate Marilyn Monroe, who performed shows for about 100,000 troops stationed in Korea in 1954.

"It's so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who's basically a pinup, which is what I've always aspired to be," Lohan said, adding that she would prepare for her trip to Iraq by taking shooting lessons with her security guard.

A spokesman for the senator offered a slightly different take on Lohan's contact with the New York Democrat's office.

"It was suggested to her that if she wanted to go, she could pursue doing so through the USO," said spokesman Philippe Reines.

The USO is a nonprofit organization that provides entertainment to troops stationed abroad.

LINDSAY FACES
MARMONT BOOT

August 10, 2006 -- LINDSAY Lohan's wild ways are not just affecting her career - her partying may get her booted from her posh L.A. home base, the Chateau Marmont.
"They are trying to kick her out. It is very disruptive with all of her friends coming in and out and her late nights," said a source. Another insider added, "Even for the Chateau, it is too much." But a rep for the famed hotel to the stars sniffed, "Not true."

Meanwhile, a crew member from Lohan's 2005 flick, "Herbie: Fully Loaded," has anonymously posted a letter on worldofwonder.net that supports Morgan Creek's laments about Lohan's dubious work ethic.

On July 26, Morgan Creek, producers of Lohan's latest flick, "Georgia Rule," delivered a scathing letter to Lohan telling her to stop partying and calling in sick or they would sue. The new note from the "Herbie" crew member claims, "Her behavior [on 'Georgia Rule'] is exactly the same inconsiderate [bleep] she pulled on the 'Herbie' production.

"She stayed out all night, and then the doctor announced that Ms. Lohan had asthma the next day. She played the exhaustion card a couple of times . . . She called in sick one day and . . . she is across town [spending] a day with her then-boyfriend [Wilmer Valderrama] of 'That '70s Show.' "

The "Herbie" insider continues, "Another day she has the 'doctor' call in Ms. Sickie's fake ailment, because she was shooting her own music video the night before . . . The Princess was able to make the production [crew] re-create the desert race sets closer to the Four Seasons [hotel]. She said she had signed on 'to do a film in Los Angeles' and El Mirage was too hot and too far. She is a brat."

Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan's hardworking rep, raged, "Until this person goes on the record like the producers of Morgan Creek did and attaches a face and name to their charges, I am not going to reply. Stop hiding behind blind anonymity!"

Lohan pals hope her new beau, Harry Morton, will have a "calming" effect on her. A friend of Morton says he's a "sober, nice guy. He doesn't drink or do drugs and actually has a day job and works very hard."
