Shania Visit
Timmins' most famous resident came back home today(August 2). Shania Twain made a short trip to Timmins.

Just keep in mind that when Shania is here on "private" time we try very hard to respect that. We were not aware that she was here because she was visiting privately.

I don't really think so, it doesn't get anything to do with that. Maybe as the video or the new say, she tripped to timmins to visit her friends or just visiting her home town. I don't think because of the video really.

Well July 20th was when she was supposably spotted in Canada and forsay it was true, that was nearly 2 weeks prior to August 2nd, enough time to shoot a video, now all she gots to do it edit the video and make minor changes to it if in that 2 week time she was shooting a video. That means a new single could be released by next month's. But no one knows for sure until someone can catch her and get her in an interview while she is still in Canada. Lets hope some media can catch her and get an interview and some updated news before she heads back home.

It's for feeding hungry kids @ schools.. try to use the search option, you will find out more info about it..:)
Ah, it's a program for childrens hungry, that is very special. She helped them also during her concerts, all the money at least was donated to the childrens hungry of North Amerika.
Well i just hope it's new music, or her charity of course, but i really hope it's music, cause THAT would be the coolest=)

by the way, thanks Aurore for posting the clip, the first post's link didn't work. I think it woulda been nice if Shania met that fan, but with the media there, it woulda been a little hard, since she wanted to be private.

It shows her going up the elevator at Holt Renfrew, with a dark-haired friend.
She shopped, and ate at Holt's Cafe. She particularly enjoyed the truffle oil potato chips.

The area Shania was in is always swarmed by paparazzi. Celebrities are photographed and caught on video walking/shopping in that area all the time. Shania knows that so I doubt she was concerned about her privacy all that much. She would have avoided that area if she was.

The area Shania was in is a very upscale place and a great place at that...And the press didn't hassle her they just took her picture. Maybe she was visiting the Universal music office in toronto... just a thought

Somehow, a few seem to be unable to recognize the difference between a performer doing promotional appearances under her stage name & when she's on her own time.
We have pointed this out in the Forums' rules (http://www.shaniaforums.com/faq.php?faq=rules_and_policies#faq_rules_and_polic ies_full) and on other occasions as well.
We are fully aware of the members who have problems in this area.
This Forum will NOT become an area, where scavengers are allowed to roam.
