You know, I did recieve an email message from her :p .
But if I would be her I would read along on the forums. Just fun to know how the fans really think about you. But why on earth is it taking so long 'till the new album is realeased, if we're complaining about it constantly (Shania? :p )?

Shania would have the internet at home like everyone else, but she is on holiday right now and I doubt Broadband extends to the Canadian Bush round here ;)

I will answer the last part first. Her sister was at Fan Con 2 to witness our reaction to seeing the UP! Stage for the first time.

Some how the logic of asking if Shania is a Normal person who surfs the net given a chance has been twisted into her 'Spying on us" which may work well for the Tabloid Press, but I expect better english from true Shania fans.

I don't think she reads post by post, she just goes in and if anything catches her eye then she will check it out. it only takes 10 mins at the most to see what the topics are. And she has someone to go through the fourms and tell her what is going on when she don't have time. And because of this person she has made really no reason to go on the fourms and look. And Shania can have that internet time to write songs, or take time out for herself.

Yes I am not really happy with the spy word, I would of preferred the thread title "does Shania read our posts" and I think that title was in fact used by myself many years ago on the Shania Boards back in 2002.
Like all Shania on-line boards and forums this a public place which anyone can visit without registering.
I'd say it's just a figure of speech, without negative meaning.

Shania is pretty tuned via friends in Timmins who by the way were at the Annual Fan Convention, where they have attended the final Dinner dance every year for the past while as to what we get up to.
I told them we are all angels and would never suggest that Shania spy on our posts.... Well I got that bit wrong, but whatever.
You want to get closer to Shania? Then find out what made Eilleen Twain become her by travelling to Timmins and visiting the Shania Twain center and talking to people from her home town. Ah but then are YOU spying on Shania ? :eek: :funny:
Shania is still a Northern Girl at heart, it is just a pity that 'fame' whatever that is changes some people's idea's about a person who is every bit the same as any Mother of her age. Shania would fit right back into Timmins day to day life, but for the 'fame' thing.
This thread answers the question it's self if you answer these questions below:
1. If you have a chance to go on the internet and read about people who care about you..... would you do it?
I mean see pictures of your hometown, Deerhurst and former band members playing in Timmins to your fans every August during the Fan Convention. I suspect she may of had a peak or two.
2. As a private person, would you join in and post as yourself knowing that a million cranks will fire up and ....... well I leave the rest to your imagination.
If you are a Shania fan you have already answered the main point of this thread, so if there is nothing else, perhaps it is time to move on, for this subject has been covered before (even by myself) years ago on this very board. Use the search engine and read on.

Well you know she was really stalking us John, but we were FAR to Polite to notice, even when we found out she visited Deerhurst just the day before we did, that was just to get the revue show up to speed and help out with the excellent meal. :-)

I find it quite interesting that she was "circuling around you" in Deerfurst and Timmins during the fan con. Was she making some kind of statement (and if so, what kind?)? was this her way to promote the event? was she in deed curious to get first hand knowledge and reactions to your appearance and actions?
