I could be wrong and I'll have to double check, but I believe that the real one is hanging in the STC. And if it's not in the STC, then I find it very hard to believe that Shania would part with her first major award in her career.

I highly suspect that this is a fake, so buyer beware!

interesting... but i don't think it's the original one!! it must be either at the Shania Twain Centre or at her house!!!

I've got something like that,but from the COO album. But mine's a fake. I don't think Shania would sell the real one on Ebay, so I would never buy this for that price...

This one is the real deal. Shania gets the first one with her name on the RIAA plate. Others are given to the label,radio and record distributor execs with their name on the plate. I have this one and several other Shania RIAA awards.

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the clarification. :)

However, in that case the seller should have made it clear that he wasn't selling Shania's copy. Frankly it still seems to me like he's trying to capitalize on Shania's fame, without making it clear to unsuspecting fans just what it represents.

I don't think it's the real one the one you're saying, but in that case that must be more expensive, that diamons is not whatever. if it were of shania had been valued in lotsa money.

I do think the same, but if it's a copy or a representation of the true diamond maybe not, he's doing them to sell to us as if we have the true diamon. That's my supossition.
