Since the update I have been having a very bugging problem with the forums.
When I am posting a post and am done writing the text. and I click "Post Quick Reply" my browser freezes and then closes. Does anybody know why that is happening? It doesn't happen on any other sites and other forums.

Same happens to me but my browser doesn't close after freezing. When I go back to the page before when it freezes and I click then on refreshing the page, my post is there. It's only when using the Quick Reply...
You use Netscape, right? I don't know many people who use that, and don't have much experience with it.
Have you emptied your cache and cookies after the upgrade?
The new quick reply uses a method called Ajax, it doesn't 'refresh' the page, but instead load very fast to you and others. I'd have to investigate Netscape and vB 3.6 if there are any problems with those.

I am using Netscape and not the newest version of it.
I emptied the cache. But as this does not occur actually everytime I make a post. I can't say yet if emptying the cache was the solution to my problem
That stinks. I don't have that problem in my computer, on the other hand, it's way much better this tool oferred by the administrators, is quicker and easier.

I use Internet Explorer and I'm having no problems. In fact, the quick reply loads really fast now after I make a post!

Have you pressed refresh/hard refresh on your browser to fetch the latest javascript files from server? Is your browser up-to-date?

I am deleting the cookies and emptying rthe caches everytime my brower will be closed before going offline and my browser is up-to-date. But what is to refresh/hard refresh on my browser to fetch the latest javascript from server? I have never done anything like that and I don't know how to do that. :dunno:
Ah, then you shouldn't have a problem with cache/cookies or even the need for hard refresh maybe?
Hmm, in IE hard refresh is Ctrl+F5, someone who uses Firefox, please let us know what the command is with that, thanks.
