View Full Version : Will Shania have a new album becuse of the move?

Shania.com has reported that Shania, Mutt, and Eja are moving to a smaller swiss home and the formal move will take place in October. I am wondering if this will put a damper on the new CD? Im not sure that she can juggle releasing a new CD and moving at the same time. Although she is amazing! , I expect to see the new CD in early 2007.

No idea. Not necessarily. Anything is possible. Only Mutt & Shania know.
I don't really think Shania herself will be doing the moving though... like carrying the furniture...

I really hope she'd release a new cd this year but it's looking less like it

If this story IS true, I'm glad they're staying in Switzerland! She seemed to love it so! :love: :]

Interesting about the move. I had heard something different but although shania.com gets the scoop on a lot of things right, as far as I am concerned, nothing is definite until we hear it from a more authoritative source.

These news are supportive to my own conclusions, so I am happy with it :D !! As a mother of first-grader myself, I wouldn't think them moving away from the district right when Eja has started his school.

I agree that Eja will be the most important factor in their decision on where to live.

I'd need help with fingers counting the schools I went too in grade one. It got too the point where a month in one school was a long time. I agree with you, big time.

She could tour in the summer when there is no school and overlap the months just before or after the summer. In these months she could be away from them. I suspect any future tour will be much shorter though than before - fewer concerts, possibly a smaller spectacle with fewer people.

Since we don't really know when the new cd is being released it's hard to say whether the moving will delay it. But I guess it does look less likely that we get a new cd this year.
I hope I am wrong:p

My understanding is that in Switzerland, children do not have to attend school until they are 6 years old, however, he can attend at the age of 5 or younger. I think it is great that they are staying in Switzerland and that they are moving to a smaller community, where I understand the population is somewhat like 2000 people. Hopefully they will find the peace that they are looking for, and I would not look for a new CD until at least March of 2007.
I don't know but I have the feeling that this year definitely won't have any CD, she's moving again, and this is time, so it means at least for me we'll have to wait at least for another long year, that stinks, but :dunno: I'm still thinking in a good way:]

Interesting point, but I don't think in the next tour shania can get Eja again, unless he's receiving school class at home.

Good point, but shania tour don't last only two months or three as summer can delay, so it's hard to think of it.

I read the original Swiss news report from which shania.com go the info about the move. It contains a couple of hard facts, like the name of the commune, and the fact that an official reception is planned. But most of the article is speculation. It looks likely that this report is true but I would feel more sure if there were corroboration elsewhere. I remember when local gossip in the Hunstville area had identified the location of Shania's new cottage. Trouble is, they had the wrong place!

They've probably lost Eja a few times in that house. I'd sell it for that reason alone. It's way to big for 3 people. :)

Shania will just hire special people to move the family. It don't mean that Shania won't be putting out a new album. You never know, I have seen singers release an album in November, and December. So there is still lots of time.

Who knows the album is already done.. and they're in Canada (to relax, for her BfL program, shot a new video) while movers are moving their stuff to their new home..:)

That's a right supossition of what she's doing... the album is done or not? that stuff doesn't really matter to us, because it's supossed to be a surprisee!! and if we know that, so it woulda be any surprise.

That's a fact they've hired personal to effect the moving, but their own and personal stuff they carry them and move them on, or will they let that strangy ones to carry that?:eek:

I really do think that we will see a Shania album out this year I'd say maybe November?? Who knows maybe its just a rumor that she is moving, last I heard she was in New Zealand, and if she is moving I dont think that would affect the release date.
