mmm, it'd be cool to do something like that :p but honestly, I think you should get a symbol or something like that ;)

I think you should choose something that has special meaning to you. Personally I don't think that having someone's face tattooed on your arm has great meaning. Why don't you choose a line from a song or a Shania quote that you can identify with. Or maybe you can get a symbol from another language that means something she said or something you connect with her. That way you could combine both.

It's up to you, if you're asking I'm not a fan of tattoos, especially if it's for fashion reasons. But it's down to the individual, just remember you're pretty much stuck with them for life.

I like watching tatoos but I don't like to put myself one like that. It would be cool to have one, but if your decition if you do that, that don't bad to get one.

You got to remember that when you get a tattoo it is there for life and when you are old and grey it will get wrinkled depends where you put it. And I don't think Shania will feel good by seeing her fans mark up their body because of her. She just wants to share her gift of music and make her fans feel better about themselves. Not mark up their skin especially for life.

You're so very right Jenny, tattoos are very beautiful sometimes when you put them, but they have got consecuences for life, for example, in case you use a very very tighten tatoo, you will not ever be able to donate blood, that might be the worst. And I don't really think shania disagree watching tatoos in her fans for one part, because she asked for a guy to go up stage in one video I have for the Up! tour and he was very tatooed about shania's images, she was impressed but she liked it at the end.

She probably said that so she don't make the fan feel bad that he distroyed his body. And didn't want to look bad in front of all the fans. But I bet deep down she didn't like it. I know my ***** (not a swear)

UHmm well, shania's likings I don't know, but she must feel very good when the fans devoted make all kind of things to demostrate their mania for shania.

well maybe you got a point there. She does like how different people express how they feel. I don't want to make an argument but I still don't think tattoo's are a good idea or even body piercings. but I do like the bellybutton and ear piercings.

I seem to remember hearing she didn't like them, but I can't remember where I heard it. But I did notice something on tour - BB, her guitar player always wore a hankerchief over his upper arm, and I wondered why, but then I noticed when he wasn't on stage he had a tattoo underneath, so maybe she asked him to cover it. Not sure.

UHmm it's a way to express, but what she likes, we're not so sure.

well maybe your right there, there are many fans who don't get to talk to her one on one very much anyways.

Anyways off the topic

Tattoo's are wrong to me anyways
Plus they ruin your blood and your body
And if god wanted you to have them then you would have been born with them (as a Jehovah's Witness told me that)

Anyways go ahead and do what you want I can't tell you not to do it, it is your choice. Not mine :)

I'm not posting mine, but I have the Up! logo with the date I saw her in concert for the first time underneath it on my wrist. I have my reasons for getting it, but I'm not going to discuss them on a message board.

The only advice I would give you (about any tattoo for that matter) is make sure you're 100% sure you want it, I waited a year to get mine, but it's up to you. Another factor is depending on where it is be prepared to explain what it is to people. I don't really enjoy doing but luckily no one really sees it as it hides under my watch.

If you're not sure what to get but have some ideas, discuss them with the tattooist. My friend is a tattooist and has a lot of ink himself and he believes you'll get a better work if you involve the guy with the creative process instead of just giving him a work to do on you.

But whatever you decide, good luck :) I don't regret mine at all and from a few days after getting it, it just felt like it was meant to be there.

Cory has one, you can see it quite clearly on some pictures and it's in view a lot on the Chicago DVD.

I remember her commenting on tattoos, I think she said they don't really bother her but it's not something she'd get and that she wouldn't want the pain. Giving birth was enough, or something like that.

I couldn't remember where I heard it, that sounds like what I heard. That's cool that you got yours for the right reasons, it worries me when people do it for fashion reasons.

Oh yeah if I end up getting anything I want to be sure I like it a lot and I might change it up a bit if you just pick something your likely to not feel good about it afterwards and that's the point of no return.

I don't want to start an argument, but I'm curious. You like bellybutton and ear piercings so how is deliberately scarring your body by putting a whole in it for the sake of a metal ring different than having a tattoo? Not all piercings heal and some end up looking worse than tattoos because of infection and skin rejection.

True, I am not a skinny person, so I wouldn't want any piercings or anything like that but on people that are skinny I do think the Belly button piercing is nice, And don't get me wrong but there are alot of tattoo's they are really nice. (On the wall as a pic) But not on me. And I am not with the Jehovah Witnesses, I just thought that it would be nice to give eveyone who don't know a view of what they think.

Also as I would never want it myself it just looks nice

About 3 months or so ago I got a Shania tattoo, its just a little pink up symbol its pretty small most people thinks its just a pen mark but oh well lol Im glad I did it and that song really has a big meaning, I say if you want a Shania tat go for it just put it in an area where you can either hide it or show it when you want to I put mine on my lower stomach hip area.

I've been cosidering it lately maybe not her fAce but her name(s) and a design of some sort so I say go for it! she's like one of my limbs though so you have to be sure. AND PUT IT WHERE IT COULD BE COVERED (in case you get a really good job that's against them) than when no one's looking show it off. of course my first two girls will be Shania and Eilleen because of her and because they're beautiful

I have noticed of late that more and more folks are sporting tattoos on their upper chests with the name of their boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/significant other.

How do you feel about that?

I would never take a Shania tattoo.. It's very hard to make it really look like Shania, so people will actually recognise her when they see the tattoo. A symbol is better I guess..
Put the Up! symbol on your forhead :p .

I'm not a tattoo person. A tattoo stays there for the reat of your life. And I love Shania's music, but not enough to put that on my body for the reat of my life. She's already in my heart.

Yeah I'm not a fan of tattoos either to be honest. They're not even something different or unique these days. I actually think it's refreshing when someone doesn't have a tattoo. I agree with what everyone said though, if you were to get one, it would probably be best to get something small that you can hide if you want.

I like tatties...i have four myself...some japanese writing on my leg that says sagitarius, have a barcode on the back of my neck that says made in canada, a canadian flag on my left shoulder, and a shania tatty on my left shoulder...each has great meaning to me. if you want something for any reason i figure you should just do it...i have no regrets about any of my tatties...but then again that is just me!!!

So would I. Imagine me having Shania on my back.... In 60 years I'll be 80, and Shania will look like a wrinkly mess, and no one will know her name... No, no Shania tattoo on my body ;) .

Yes, everyone here does that. I'm free to opinions, I like sometimes, I dislike sometimes, I would do one but it has to be a very good reason to do it though. A shania one, well, maybe, why not? People has very different ways to demostrate affect amnd love for other people.. It's no that bad, even I don't like tattoos because after you put it you can't do some activitied of solidarity like donate blood or something...
