I just got this huge, hard-cover book "100 Best-Selling Albums" at Barnes & Noble for $14.95! I'm kinda excited because normally those books are so high. Anyway, Shania is in it 3 times.

2000s
2. Up! - 10,600,000 in sales (behind Norah Jones' Come Away With Me with 10,800,000 in sales)

1990s
1. Come On Over - 22,000,000 in sales
14. The Woman In Me - 12,300,000 in sales

Has Come On Over gone 22x platinum? I never heard that. In one of the articles it says COO has sold 34.6M world-wide.

even with all the fraud copies and piracy and P2P, the album must've been the best-selling of all times...:mad:

There have been some estimates earlier this year, that COO has already surpassed the 39 million mark of sales worldwide... making the total sales of all her albums over 85 million... many of those early top album sales (pre-SoundScan) are also *only* estimates... so, being in the age of the Internet and all... let's be fair about it & give Shania credit for 50 million for COO alone & 100 million for the whole catalogue..? :D

Whatta!?! Is this the BIG disappointment and dismay of Mr Lewis from Mercury??? The one and only Up! over which we have had so many discussions in these boards and made up explanations WHY it made it so poorly???

Second of the total decay (pop included)... Great... Huge Flop! in deed...

Those are only US sales remember everyone!! So Shania has sold a lot more copies of those albums. And also just to make it clear those sales for Up! are double the actual amount of sales due to the fact it's regarded as a double disc there :)

of course, let's start a new count to watch if how many CDs aproximately has shania sold in the other countries. By end 2005 here in Mexico she had sold 100 000 aproximately, a good number to be here, so In the other places, adding this will be greater the nummer:D
