I was watching, admittedly half asleep, VH1 Classics' show 'Classic Albums,' and Mutt was actually on there doing an interview segment for the show. That was the first time I've ever heard him speak! It was for the album "Hysteria" by Def Leppard and I believe it was from 2003. His part was very short and I can't remember what he said but I just thought I'd mention it. I didn't finish the program so there may have been more than one clip of him.

It's actually an Eagle Rock Entertainment documentary from 2002, released on DVD in 2005... directed by Matthew Longfellow... and the Mutt interview snippet is from 1989, I believe...

I wish they would do something like that for "Come On Over." Wouldn't it be awesome to see behind the scenes of the making of a Shania album?!

But that show hardly ever has an album I like or am familiar with on it. VH1 did do Alicia Keys' "Songs In A Minor" a few years back and that was cool.

:shocked: - Are you kidding..?!? :shocked:

Classic Albums is a documentary series about pop music albums that are considered the best or most distinctive of a well known band or musician or that exemplify a stage in the history of pop music.

The music, and its production, is dissected by the musicians and/or producer playing the multitrack recordings and singling out tracks that one does not usually consciously hear when listening to the music, giving insight into the way the sound is built up. Also, the individual musicians play back pieces, which are then blended with the original recording. Almost all songs are dealt with, focusing almost entirely on the music itself, how it was composed/realised. Personal aspects of the band or members are occasionally dealt with, but mostly only if they serve this purpose. TV episodes are 50 minutes long but the DVD releases contain much additional material. All the releases in this series are done with the co-operation and full authorisation of the artists involved.

The series are made by Isis/Eagle Rock Entertainment and have been broadcast worldwide (BBC, ITV, VH1, etc). They are also available on DVD.

Some albums that have been covered are:

* The Band - The Band
* Bob Marley & The Wailers - Catch a Fire
* Cream - Disraeli Gears
* Deep Purple - Machine Head
* Def Leppard - Hysteria
* Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
* Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley
* Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
* Grateful Dead - American Beauty
* Green Day - Dookie
* Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
* Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
* Judas Priest - British Steel
* Lou Reed - Transformer
* Meat Loaf - Bat out of Hell
* Metallica - Metallica ("Black Album") (Classic Albums: Metallica - The Black Album)
* Motörhead - Ace Of Spades
* Nirvana - Nevermind (Classic Albums - Nirvana - Nevermind)
* Paul Simon - Graceland
* Phil Collins - Face Value
* Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
* Queen - A Night at the Opera
* Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
* Simply Red - Stars
* Steely Dan - Aja (album)
* Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
* U2 - The Joshua Tree
* The Who - Who's Next

hmmm... BUT: I do agree - Shania's 'Come On Over' should be released as a 'Classic Albums' documentary...
