...I wonder why these morons can't just play videos...If they did that people might confuse it for a music station, some kinda Country Music Television or something. That would just be weird or something, who wants that. :p

I really don't mind them doing shows like this but it's just all the reality shows and movies and stuff. It's Country MUSIC Television. You'd think that meant every show has something to do with MUSIC.

I say more videos and more concerts.

they only wedge in shania in all their TV shows because they simply don't have enough watchers... jerks!

That might be a reason.Shania's in charge to get published all of these "famous people":p Well, we can make an exceptionwith Faith Hill, but the majority atleast me don't make a lot of TV audience.

What day do you think they'll use? The day... Shania met Mutt, The Woman In Me was released, Come On Over was released, Any Man of Mine video premiered, she performed AMOM on the CMAs, gosh there's a ton!

Yeah, but I didn't know if they'd use something they had footage of... like the CMA's performance. I dunno. My guess would be Shania meeting Mutt too.

CMT is using Shania's photo on their site to promote the "40 Days that Shaped Country Music" special.

Here (http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/greatest_series/111458/episode_about.jhtml) is CMT's description of the special:

Very true. :)

However, given Shania's also-ran status in the Description (http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/greatest_series/111458/episode_about.jhtml) of the special and CMT's tendancy to use Shania for ratings, Shania probably won't be on the special for over 1 minute.

I'm expecting a tiny, barely noticable segment on Shania meeting Mutt.

tonyme

Me too... I expect a barely 50-second appearance... Plus, even if her picture is used to commercialize the show, it is only in the purpose of publicity and credit as it's been said thousands of times this week in the forums:p

The special was pretty much a waste of time.

To sum it up: Spock (of Shania's Place (http://www.shaniasplace.com/)) timed the Shania segments. Out of the entire 2-hour show, Shania was on the screen for a combined Total of 4 Minutes and 39 seconds.

Yep. CMT got a lot of things wrong on this special.

Spock said CMT even spelled Shania's name wrong during 1 of her 2 quick segments.

I honestly don't know if they did or not because I wasn't watching 100% of all of the segments. I was too busy writing down dates and working on the list.

If it's true they did spell Shania's name wrong, that just goes to show you terrible the CMT people are at reporting facts.

10. Tuesday, November 4, 1997 - Shania's "Come On Over" cd (http://www.amazon.com/Come-Over-Shania-Twain/dp/B000001EW3/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_1/002-0414131-9809615) is released. Longest-ever stay in the Top 20 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart - 99 Weeks.

I made a correction to the facts mentioned about Shania's "Come On Over" (http://www.amazon.com/Come-Over-Shania-Twain/dp/B000001EW3/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_1/002-0414131-9809615) cd.

According to what CMT said, Shania's "COO" cd had the longest-ever stay inside the Top 20 of the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

They said "Come On Over" (http://www.amazon.com/Come-Over-Shania-Twain/dp/B000001EW3/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_1/002-0414131-9809615) was in the Top 20 for 99 weeks!
