...makes you a bit stiff. Even with a leather jacket, helmet, shirt around neck to block wind, 200 gram Thinsulate military boots, and windproof/waterproof Gore-Tex pants over jeans, and heavy leather gauntlet-style gloves, that wind at 60mph+ for a couple hours is fatiguing. Thank God I have a truck, too.

That was on motorcycle, btw.

Why'd ya drive that long trip when it's so cold? Isn't it time to give bike a rest for the winter time?

Yeah, but I'm not ready to let go of riding season. Not yet...

Must be Canadian, I know a few people like that. I wouldn't even ride a pedal bike in that weather. Call me crazy or whatever but the frost bite doesn't sound all that great. :p

It's me or it's very confusing the thing he put first? It's so dificult to pedal in those conditions?:p

12.7 C.

Today I did 110 miles. 60 the first trip, 50 the second trip. It was about 60 degrees; 40 miles were done at highway speed (70-75mph) against an 18-20mph southwest wind; which would be about 90mph wind force for 40 or so miles. Fun.

Well when you numb and can't feel anything anymore its fun. That way if you do something stupid and get hurt you don't feel any of the pain. :p
