A few weeks ago (might have been a month now) I recieved my first Credit Card :D I've used it 3 times now and I when I used it just a couple minutes ago to buy a USB drive, I suddenly realized how dangerous this thing could actually be. People always mention how dangerous they are, but I never understood because I didn't have one...now I do and I totally understand lol.
I want to buy all this stuff now because I don't have to pay for them until next month...man, somebody seriously needs to cut my card up now before I go bankrupt lol :funny:
Welcome to the world of credit Jenn! Right now I owe too much cuz I don't have a job so I can only make minimum payments.

I prefer cash. Much more ideal for privacy.
I don't have a credit card, I use a debit card so I only spend the money I have.

If you see any of those names in your browser window, just close computer. It is much better for Your credit cards. Just belive me, I know.
I don't use my credit card on the Net because it can easily be stolen... However, I have an "internet" credit card especially made for online orders... This one I use;)

No matter what you use to pay for something...be it a credit card, debit card, internet card, cash or even cheques...just don't spend more than you can afford, and you're fine. :)
For people concerned about their privacy being jeopardized on-line....the security measures most merchants have implemented these days make using a credit card on the net just as, if not more secure than using one in person.
If you are going to shop online with a credit card (which I've been doing for years by the way and have never had a problem), look for a spot on the individual website that hopefully tells you they use at least 128-bit encryption security. This is the one of the highest security levels available and is what most major banks use by the way; if it is good enough for them, it's good enough for me. :)

I've got several credit cards, and have gotten myself into trouble with them! Especially since I've been laid off from my job (not my new one, my other one) twice!
I don't really like credit cards. I'm under 18 years old plus I can't still have a card at my age, but even if I'm 18 or more I wouldn't like to get one, they're very conflictive and they're only good to steal your money. Say that to my mom, that in some years ago she lost a lot of money because of the credit cards, and she won't ever have a credit card again. My mom and me are used to pay everything with money, I mean, by cash, using the simple money, coins, bills. It's preferible and the surest for you.

I prefer a debit card. That way I don't spend the money I don't posses. :p (unless I go into an overdraft... :hide: )
Kinda reminded me of Ka-Ching! lol
It does remind me of KA-CHING! lol;) such a great song
Me not. Remembering the traditional way to pay it does:p

I got offered one through my old bank when I was at college. Didn't activate until three months. That was about two years ago...I'm still paying off the original amount. Since then I got offered four more and I have accepted them...used the credit on all five. Three of them are store credit cards. I have gotten a computer, mattress & box spring, few mods to my car, mp3 player (that broke after year of use), CD's & DVD's, gas for the car (few times when I don't carry or too broke for cash), at grocery stores (again when broke), summer shorts, jeans, and my only smart buy...a black women's suit ( never know when you need a suit?)
Only good that I gotten with those evil things....was my car. And I worked for that by paying my bills.
Maybe the good part of usin credit card isn't that right?
