Is it just me or is it taking a long time for everything to load on here?

Not just you Heidi....It's really slow. I started to come to this thread and reply ten minutes ago!! :eek:
It is so slow its mind numbing!

It's way too slow! It takes so long for everything to load!
For a minute I thought I had dial-up when in fact I have cable! lol

yea... it's kinda slow between albums... and the server's response time could be better too... :p

Yep, I've found it that way for several days now. I also think that when I shut down at night, it may be making that slow as well.

Oh, guys many here are having problems with the forums:eek: Well, me too, I'm on line too:p... Since the monday the forums returned very slow, and sometimes it appears: The page cannot appear.. etc.. so I got desperated, well, I hope te problem can solucionate soon cuz it's annoying the thing we can't post like we were used to.
SLOW! SLOW! SLOW!!
Plus, with dial-up users like me, :uhh: it is mind-breaking:mad:

I'm really getting desperated with this situation. I can't post almost anything now cuz everytime I intent to open a forums or trying to post I can't because everything is slow, that is why I've not posted like I was used to:mad: I really hope this ends soon.

It's getting slightly better for me, but it's still pretty slow!
It's still slow for almost everyone I guess, in the STC forums is okay everything, but I'm thinking maybe because of the heavy of the page is the problem.

I came back to this thread to see if there was an update as to why things are slow, but it took almost 2 minutes for this thread to load (and I have high-speed internet) only to find out nothing lol.
I hope this issue is resolved soon because the forums are slow enough as it is during the time Shania takes her break :p

Well, to me that's no normal, I have never had this kind if problems like now, maybe because of the problem of the page, who knows:dunno: Now it seems a bit quick but it keeps bein' slow. I cross my fingers for a good solution:(
It has been painfully slow the last few days. It took 50 seconds for this screen to come up. I have started skipping this board when I don't have much time. :(
I've found page load times vary a lot, most pages open with only a slight delay, then at times some pages take a bit longer.
The good thing about this problem is that pages do load, even if slowly.

Since Shania isn't doing anything publicly anyway, I think I am going to take a break from here until this site stops dragging and being irratatingly slow.:rolleyes: I'll check back next week sometime.

It's going faster than a few days before but still slow... it takes a while loading the side.
Well, I have had it with this board. I will not post again until it is fixed. First of all, I am tired of waiting a minute or two for each screen. But even worse, if a screen half loads and seems stuck and then I try to get out, it bombards me with dozens of screens and I have to reboot. Then when I come back to my email, none of the links work! I don't need this hassle!

Last week it was extremely slow and right now it's still very slow. That's why I haven't posted since last Wednesday. It's become way to frustrating.
I guess I'll return one of these days. :mad:
It makes high speed connects seem like dial-up!

this slowlyness kills my browser. it is not usual that is talks more than two or three minutes to open a thread. this is a reason not to come here for a time because my browser is freezing because of this and it really gets on my nerves. is there nothing someone can do against?
Oh my... why does it take so long to fix this damn slowness?? I've never had such long loading times on any other site. These forums totally suck! I'll have to stay away from here because this page makes my browser freeze and my internet is crashing all the time. Besides that is my time too precious to waste it.
This place has become a ghost board since the board slow down.

Yes today it does seem faster.
It seems really slow for me.
OKay, I take a break to post here, but I'm still frustrated:mad: I just can't post anything cuz everytime I'm here it freeze my conexion and I have to restart the conexion. I hope all of this is over soon, cuz I'm really tired:(

I don't think that it has anything to do with the so-called garbage on my computer because it is only this site that takes so long to load. By the way... I have no garbage or anything like that on my pc 'cause it will be cleaned everyday... first think, then post. Thank you.

...the complaints concerning site response time have been forwarded to the appropriate technical staff - no need to resort to personal jabs, however frustrated you might feel.
I have however found some correlation with the occuring difficulties being tied with a certain time of the day: as North America wakes up - the Internet traffic bandwidth usage increases significantly.
Right now, the site is very responsive. We will report on further developments, as they unfold.
