So how many tracks do you think the new upcoming Shania album will have? I'm taking a wild guess and gonna say 13 tracks :P

She took a long break and I'm sure she was able to write a lot in that time. So I think (hope) it will be a fairly long album. Maybe around the same length as Up! (without the different versions) like 18-19 songs.

I think it will be around 15-20 songs. And like mcjessica said, I agree with her and hope that it will be a long album like Up ! was. I think it should be a long one since she made us wait so long to for her new Cd ;) But we can't complain, it's worth the wait ! :)
She'll have to satify us for all the wait she did us to wait lol..
Whatever it is the quantity of songs, quality is worth than the quantity, for sure ;)

Greatest Hits - 21
For most artists, a Greatest Hits CD usually (not always) has more songs on it than a regular studio CD. Shania isn't like most artsits though, she never has been. I think that Shania's CD will be a double-CD and will have around 30 songs on it. Whatever Shania decides to do will be the right thing though, and every song, no matter how many there are, will be a great one. :)

I just hope more than half of the songs are singles. We need more videos and such to make up for the lack of good ones not released from the Up! cd. That should keep her with us for a long while.
I think the CD will have 16 or 18 tracks, all of them big hits of course!!:]

There was an earlier rumor (and apparently it was just that) that Shania's next album would be a double CD album with 16 tracks on each for a total of 32 original songs!
Like I said, it was just a rumor, but it could be true. It would be in keeping with Shania's 'bigger, better, more' approach to things and would be something no other artist has ever done. She has had time to
craft 32 new songs so why not? I really don't think that after this
drought, her album will just be 'the usual' 12-14 tracks, but we'll just have to wait and see.

With the last album Shania said she wanted fans to have value for money so I guess she will do the same this time.

I agree with you. I really hope it is true, but that many songs seems like a whole lot for Shania to write all for one CD, but who knows .. she could be doing so many since we had to wait a lil bit longer.

Absolutely. Once, just for the heck of it, I took a song lasting one minute & sliced it into 60 pieces, each lasting one second - burned it as an audio CD with zero second gaps between the tracks... so, when played, the song went on seamlessly... but the track number indicator on the player changed each second, while the time read 0:00 the whole time... oh, how time flies when you're having fun... heh.
