Here's a picture of Whyte Ave. which was the Downtown of Stratcona which was also known as South Edmonton. South Cental is in da howse. :p Whyte was the main drag of their Downtown, until Edmonton ate it up.

Here's a picture from Fort Edmonton Park. This is basically what Jasper Ave looked liked in the past. Jasper Ave is the main drag downtown. A large chunk of the Assassination of Jesse James was shot here, it was big news having Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stay here for a whole summer.

Awesome pics SeanThank you sir!
The best part is in the first link which would be the prize of Edmonton. Our beautiful River Valley park system. It stretches though the whole city and it's is the reason Edmonton has the largest park system of any city in North America. The city planners were brilliant in that gift they left us back in the 1900's as it's untouched as it should be.

Hey! I'll have you know the Oilers are doing just fine and so are the Oil Kings. One loss isn't the end of the season. I'll be the first to admit they lost too the better team. One that totally owned their butts in the first half of the game. Life will be good again here starting tomorrow when the Oil Kings beat the Bronco's then the Oilers beat the Red Wings.

I know they are but its too bad this town gets such a bum rap. This is a beautiful City and was runner up to the most beautiful capital city in the country, we got beat out by Ottawa. Second place isn't all that bad, atleast its not last and we did beat Victoria.

Here are pictures of wild life at Elk Island National Park which is 15 minutes east of Edmonton. Every Bison on this planet can trace it orgins to Elk Island and that is because they thought they were extinct until they found a heard at the Park.

They are and I'll never forget standing in front of one working for Unical 76's plant in Lesser Slave Lake. I knew they were big but to actually stand in front of one thats only a few feet from you is something else. We just there looking at each other face to face. I was in total awe standing there in front of this giant. I'll never forget that for the life of me.
