"Considerada una de las mejores cantantes de su país, Twain confirmó que su próxima presentación será en diciembre, en la gala Kennedy Center Honors, en Estados Unidos, en la que se homenajeará a Steve Martin, Diana Ross, Leon Fleisher, Martin Scorsese y Brian Wilson."

Or better:

"One of the better singers of her country, Twain confirmed that her next appearance will be on December, at the Kennedy Center Honors gala, USA, when she'll do a tribute to Steve Martin, Diana Ross, Leon Fleisher, Martin Scorsese and Brian Wilson."

Yes, but confirmed by whom?:uhh: If you go to the site, there is no mention of Shania, let alone Anne Murray! If Shania is to be there, these are my thoughts:

To me, if Shania is actually to attend and perform, it would most likely be for Diana Ross. I'm sure Diana Ross and The Supremes were part of Shania's musical life when she was young. I've never heard it, but she has mentioned so many over the years from that era, that it would be my guess. Diana is a very smart lady and has obviously been largely responsible for the success of the group, plus she has won an oscar for the movie Lady Sings the Blues, and totally rewrote the Wizard of Oz to make OZ. So, I could see that. Then of course there is Brian Wilson. For many years he was the strength of the Beach Boys and he wrote most of their songs. Shania has always had a special respect and admiration for her fellow writers it seems. So, who knows. But then it would seem we would need to know if she actually has been invited, or is this all just a rumor.:)

It's interesting :D,,,are we certain of the translation? I would think she is to participate in a tribute to these folks rather than doing it by herself..

It would be great if she attended this year's KCH, she must have been honoured to do last year's and I can understand her not wanting to pass up on this one. It draws in huge audiences and it's shown on CBS.
