Hi Everyone, Has this web site been running slow opening up the pages? I have had this problem for at least a few days now. I have no other problems with other web sites even containing many pictures or graphics. I am computer savy and everything else is running great. I have high speed internet as well. Is there a problem here? Any one? Thanks, Tom
The forum is working fine for me, I haven't experianced any problems.

Fine here too...
Well, not slow, but search thingy doesn`t work.
Always got only blank sheet. It`s been like this at least few days, so i guess that it`s only my problem, or is it?.:hmmm:
The Forums are working as normal for me too. And search works for me.
It is possible sometimes that individuals have problems with speed when others don't, might be an issue with internet provider's routing for example. Hard to know where to start looking, unless others report the same issue and a key is found.
Myyde, clearing your browser's cache has not helped, have you tried? Or pressing F5 to hard refresh the page?

I have been getting a blank gray screen too between pages or even signing in. However, on that blank screen the google ads pop up real fast on top. It's the content of the page that can take up to a minute before it comes up. I have never had ths problem before and all other web sites work great. Alan where are you? LOL

Thanks for the hint, but it still doesn`t work. But if it works for everyone else, then let it be.
I guess that it`s time to reinstall Windows, jiiiihaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! Itīs so much fun.:boogie:

I've seen the top half of my page filled with sponsor ads with no Shania Forum main pic and forums. I think its Windows crashing, maybe interference from outside activity say Area 51:p

Well, it's a bit better today, but still something is wrong. Still slow. I am use to web sites popping up instantly with my high speed internet and this site use to run real well, but not these past few days. I still have no problems with any other web sites. I wonder why? Alan can you elaborate when you see this thread hopefully? Any other computer wiz out there? I have window washer too, so my cache and temp files are always cleaned. Have plenty of memory. Running P4. Weird.

Normally its quite quick to load up on my other comp;)And I thought that my old Panasonic CF-27 laptop had a small hard drive 4GB, I used to use the Panasonic at University, it was an old BT computer running on Windows 95, I upgraded it to Windows ME and it made it even slower. Luckily I have a Dell Computer with an 60GB hard drive nowadays :D I still use the Panasonic laptop to download photos when I am on holiday and it takes about half an hour to download a 1GB SD card

Even mobile phones are quicker online than my old computer and some devices like mobile phones have more memory as well:D Its really slow at the moment for me:funny: When I get my new comp fixed it will be so fast that it will take time to get used to it:]

There is a couple of Mac computers at work that are so fast that it would be imposable to time them with a stop watch, I know what I would like for Christmas.

I think it depends on what computer you are using;) that when you come here the site is either slow or fast:p obviously a powerful comp would be very fast here as if instant:)

Also spyware and viruses on your comp can drastically slow it down;):p

Your right about that, especially when it's loading updates, you could have 5 cups of tea at times it takes,

Having photobucket and updates on at the same time is a nightmare it causes the posting/loading to take a wee while longer:)
