Hello Everyone,
Hardy here, from Shania's band. I want to welcome you to my little corner of the world. Shaniaforums.com has offered me this space so that we can talk about almost anything.
If I know anything these days it's that Shania's fans are some of the most patient & loyal. It hasn't been easy for you waiting for her next project to arrive. So, let's spice it up and have some fun. Ask questions and leave comments. You know how it works.
I have been very busy producing my new solo CD. I'm still in production now, so I will try to check the forum as often as I can. Many of Shania's band appear on this CD, so from time to time I can tell you what's going on with them as well, too. I might even post pictures. Cool??

Hey everyone!
I'm writing from inside the recording studio. I'm taking a couple minutes to say hey. Marc Muller's guitar parts are playing loudly right now for a new song I wrote call "I Want To Know All Of You." He's a talented guy and really left his mark on this song.
I'll fill you all in as we go. Maybe even take some shots and post 'em. Thanks for jumping into Hardy's corner. i hope we have a lot of fun together.

Hi Hardy! My question is a little different. I know you are listed as being from Bangor, ME in the tour programs, but are you a native Mainer? I live in Randolph near Augusta and only about 80 miles south. Being a musician myself, I always enjoy you and all of Shania's band when I go to see her. In fact I'm a little embarrassed to say that at times I get watching you guys play a little too much and forget why I'm there.:p

Hi Hardy, I was fortunate to meet you briefly on the morning of the gig you played with Shania at Birmingham's NEC. Even in that short time you came across as a great bloke.,the kind you'd be glad to have a beer with. I hope you stick around, and keep us informed about your music and maybe any future Shania news.

Good to hear from you. Yes, I was born in Maine ... Bangor to be exact. I lived in Dover-Foxcroft, then Brewer for 6 years and then Guilford, a little mill town of about 1500 people. I've lived in LA, Boston, Denver (briefly), Nashville and now northern California. Always glad to hear from a fellow Mainiac!

Wow Hardy!! I am really embarassed. I never saw your response to my question. I'm very sorry. I happened to run across a post on the STC today that mentioned it.
We go to Bangor a lot to shop mostly. My dad is from Presque Isle, but went to high school at Bangor High. He played basketball until he quit school and joined the Marines in 1941. I used to travel to Dover-Foxcroft as part of one of my jobs. The Peaks-Kenny State Park is nice. I have some distant relatives [Leathers] from Brewer. Don't know a lot about Guilford, been through there a few times over the years. Never been to the West Coast yet. But the San Francisco Giants have always been my baseball team. If I ever get to California, that is the part of the state I would most like to see. I am originally from Newport, RI, so I am very familiar with Boston. I've also been to Nashville once about 30 years ago after visiting Memphis and Graceland.
