Bryan Adams and Mutt Twain?

Today as I was riding up to our rail trail to take my 4 mile walk, the American Top Ten Adult Contemporary Countdown was on the radio with Kasey Kasem's son filling in for his dad doing the show. I really wasn't paying all that much attention to it until I was pulling over to park for my walk and Kasem was throwing in one of those extra songs they do on these countdowns. He says "and now a Countdown Extra. This is a song written by Bryan Adams and Shania Twain's husband Mutt Lange called Please Forgive Me." I listened to the song before I took my walk and I did recognize it, but I am not all that familar with it.

I just thought that was funny how he said who wrote it. I mean he might as well said it was written by Bryan Adams and Mr. Shania Twain.:p But then we know Mutt is certainly not as well known to the public as Shania is even though in the producing world he's a super star. ;)

Yeah, that is weird that they said who wrote it, but maybe they figured any Shania fans (like you! ;)) would be interested in knowing that. Of course, many people know that BA is produced by Mutt. :)

Love that album. :D I don't have it, but I do have Anthology, which has all the songs but one from that album. :)

I never knew who Mutt was either. But since I know he's Shania's husband and a great producer... I was listening to Bryan Adams' cd Anthology... And I liked some songs better than the others... I looked them up in the booklet... All were produced by Mutt. Weird...
I had allmost the same with an album from The Corrs. Coincidence? :rolleyes:

I think it's a shame that little people know who he is here. I once asked someone who should know who he is, and he didn't have a clue. So I said: Shania Twain? Bryan Adams? The Corrs? AC/DC? Def Leppard?
He knew them.
So I asked him if he never wondered who was behind all that great music.
He said: Do you know?
And I told him: Please link my first question, and the names of those arstists...

That's cool about how they made a song together, didn't know ..
