An old man in a tainted house;
He never learned what life's about.
The crowd left him alone,
No one ever came to install that phone.
His last event was a massive one,
He thought maybe he'd have some fun.
Went to a high school and shot it up -
They looked like the kids that deserve this stuff.
A girl cried, a boy screamed,
And of this sweet revenge, he'd always dreamed.
The police came and evacuated,
The man went to his house and waited,
But no one came to get him, for they were afraid.
Everyone knew who it was,
They knew he had a decade-old because.
No one offered him a chance to live,
No one had any love to give.
Maybe some time outside would help,
A picture or two on the dusty shelf.
Or maybe he was lost beyond hope...
But no one ever came to install that phone
Instead, they left him all alone.
He died quietly, not a peep.
He was a soul no one wanted to keep.
He was not to be found until the stench reeked,
And still, the town refused to turn the key.
He never learned what life's about.
The crowd left him alone,
No one ever came to install that phone.
