Oh hey I have the same chair! haha.
& it looks cool. I'd be afraid to be near all that equipment though.
Knowing me I'd probably trip on a cord and end up breaking everything. :p

Have to stand up?!? :shocked:The drummer sits as well, in fact quite a lot of rock keyboard players stand, the only time I have ever seen a rock drummer standing was in the Stray Cats.

Looks great! Quite comfy in fact lol!

My friend's studio is packed to hold all his stereo and computer gadgets. Not to mention a full drum kit, seven keyboards and 29 guitars! lol!

I can't wait to hear the music you're creating. It always amazes me how you can take an idea and make it into music. It's magical! It seems so effortless, but I understand all the work and long hours that go into it. Keep up the great work Hardy! We're all waiting with baited breath!

A warm wish for you and your family for this Holiday Season. Enjoy!

Hey everyone. Sorry, I've been gone a long time. I had to cut myself off from the rest of the world in order to get the CD finished. At last ... it is done!! As I write this to you it is being mastered. We're working on the artwork and then it's off to manufacturing. What a process. I liken it to a jealous lover who demands all your time, attention and money. Until then, it's not satisfied.

I'll have more info for you later, especially my new myspace page and my new website. I really look forward to being in closer contact with all of you good people.

But do you want to hear some Shania news?

She just emailed me today. Cory and his wife just dropped in to visit her and Mutt over in New Zealand. Cory's getting ready for the Australia portion of the Kelly Clarkson tour and figured that since he was in that part of the world he should pay them a visit. good times.

When you hear my CD you'll be hearing some of the work Cory did for me. He mixed 70% of it and played guitar here and there.

Well, look forward to hearing from you all.

Love,
Hardy

Hi Hardy!! Great to hear from you....don't worry, we'll forgive you for being away so long, especially if you come back with news like that!! :p :bounce: :D

 Getting an e-mail from Shania, that'd make my day, my week, my month, my year....well, the month and the year are almost the same now aren't they? :p Sounds like they had a party Down Under....didn't they invite you? :funny:

Looking forward to the CD.....yours and Shania's too I guess;)

Take care.

Do you find the more jealous the lover, the better the result?

Or do you find that if you take breaks, it can recharge the batteries?

Once you really get into a project, it can be pretty intense, and require some sacrifice. But it's a lot of fun, if things go reasonably well.

Looking forward to it. One advantage of my being too busy to get back to this site for a while, is that you've plunked in all the updates already. And I get to read them all at one time. What a feast!

But do you want to hear some Shania news?

She just emailed me today. Cory and his wife just dropped in to visit her and Mutt over in New Zealand. Cory's getting ready for the Australia portion of the Kelly Clarkson tour and figured that since he was in that part of the world he should pay them a visit. good times.

I read a couple articles and saw some news video about recent events on their NZ projects. Imagery was breath taking and exceptional. But that stuff about them riding routinely on a heaven-o-copter, scares me a little. Shania's folks died young, and they were in a safer vehicle than a whirly bird.

When you hear my CD you'll be hearing some of the work Cory did for me. He mixed 70% of it and played guitar here and there.

Cory seems to do some pretty good stuff in mixing and support. I've been on his and Kevin's site a number of times. He once said he enjoys helping other people develop their music, and hasn't yet got the inclination to write some great pieces of his own. Do you see that changing any time soon?

Well, look forward to hearing from you all.

Love,
Hardy

Want to see where I've been working lately?

Looks like a nice set of equipment.

But where are all the sticky notes, books, folders, papers, stacks of CD's, boxes, etc.? A messy office is the sign of a fertile mind, they say. This office is way too neat! I'm worried for your new CD now. :nervous:

One of your keyboards (with display) looks like mine, and so do both of your CRT monitors. But my newest (of 5) computers is 8 yrs old now. So I'm working on a replacement - probably in the Apple family this time. Looking at 20-24" LCD's. Noticed you have no LCD's. Are they unnecessary, or have no advantage for writing music?

Thanks for showing us your studio. It looks different than the one Allison designed and made for herself. I think your's is more compact - a lot of tools at your finger tips. I like a lot of well organized drawers, cupboards and storage places like she has. But I think the productivity potential of your setup is high.
