If you do your research on more than just sites that "wishful think" there is a Shania Album coming out this year you would learn and realize that she JUST NOW STARTED writing the music and has NOT even BEGUN recording anything.
I think Shania is wonderful, however a new album every half decade or more just doesnt cut it these days. People get tired of the same old music with never anything new. With artist out like Carrie Underwood and the likes, its too risky to stay hidden too long.
Dont email me or threaten me in regards to being ANTI shania because I am not. But an artist cant expect ALL their fans to sit by and wait for 8 years to hear something new and if RUMOR be true she just started writing the music, it will be at least 2009 before an album hits the the shelf and 2010-11 before a tour or possible tour. Even more RUMOR states she WILL NOT be touring this next album whenever it is realeased.
I wish her the best, and of course I will buy the CD when it comes out as always, but I wont sit by and spend money on fan clubs or wishful thinking when NOTHING is happening this year.
We make these artist and support them...how about throwing out even a single once a year if your going to release new stuff only once a decade.
