Hi everybody !
My first name is Jerome, 26 years old and I live in France.
Of course, I love Shania, some of my favourite songs are "What made you say that", "Whose bed have your boots been under", "(if you're not in it for love) i'm outta here", "rock this country"...
I like also listen to the Corrs, Mark Knopfler, Green Day, Oasis, the Rolling Stones, some French singers like Francis Cabrel or Georges Brassens, etc...
See you soon on the forums !
Welcome to the forums! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif
Seems that one of the things I found weird about the fans distribution on the forums is getting corrected. We are getting more members from France, Spain, etc. We also need some Italians and the list would be complete. I don't know if there is other active member from France besides Bruno, so it's good to see the European contingent grow. http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif
Have a great time and, as you said, see you on the forums! Take care.
Welcome,Meliscully.Have a great time on the forums. http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

Hiya neighbour! http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif (I'm Swiss)
*lol*
Oops, I forgot that some of the others also speak French... maybe I just go and hide in the corner now... *lol*
Anyway, I'm sure you will have a great time here, it's a wonderful place to be!!!

Hi, Justin !
Well, I live in Normandy, 100 km N-W from Paris...
Yes, France is a great country ! Do you know the "avenue des Champs-Elysées", the most beautiful avenue in the world ?
Jérôme.
Actually I am not familiar with that area because i have never been to Normandy but I have studied quite a bit about that country. It has shaped western Europe
Justin
Normandy? I hope they cleared all the landmines on those 5 beaches by now.lol I know we have that problem, every week someone discovers some old bomb from WWII while digging in his back yard.... http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif

Well, I was born in Dieppe where Canadians landed on the 19th August 1942 to prepare the D-Day. A lot of soldiers died here...
But it prepared the allied landings in Normandy on 6th June 1944 (Omaha Beach...), like you've been able to see on "Saving Private Ryan"...
Speaking of Normandy... Does anyone know which were the beaches where the Canadians actually landed? I know they were under the general Montgomery from the British. Utah and Omaha were in the American sector, which leaves Sword, Gold and Juno in the British sector. So where did the Canadians land?
LOL maybe I should watch Saving Private Ryan. I hope none reads this, but somehow I managed to miss that movie http://www.shaniaforums.com/frown.gif I don't know how it happened, I usually pay extra attention to the historical ones, if only for the documentary value.
