Forgot to Introduce Myself

I leave about 15 miles north of Seattle, the most beuatiful place in the US. I was born in Orlando, FL, grew up in a little town on Long Island Called Sayville, went to college at the University of Massuchusetts, have my own engineering business, have lived in Seattle since 1974.

I just celebrated my 56th birthday on March 15, came home from work and lo and behold there was a Shania special on TV (perfect birthdat present). I'm lucky enough to have been one of the successful bidders in an auction for an autographed Shania calendar. (Hello Betsey if your checking in).

I am patiently waiting for Shania's next release and tour so that I can see her inperson. Just love the thought about her pregnancy.

You all seem like a great group of people. Welcome to all those new mwmbers listed below.

Erich, welcome to the forums! I’ve met on the Wall forum, but I would like it to become a tradition for new members to come through here and introduce themselves as they join and like to post. It is happening more frequently now than it did in the past, so I’m pretty satisfied if this keeps going on.

About your curiosity: as far as I know there was another member that posted for a short while last year that said she was 56, so this makes you the second oldest from those posting. There are a few members in their early 50s, but up until now we lacked the “around 45” segment, but I see this was only temporary.

Anyway, for the new members: I will update an old topic on this forum called “Age, gender, location” posted by RJ about a year ago. This will allow some of you to post in it and also find some data about the people coming here. Thanks for indirectly reminding me about that, I completely forgot about its existence, although it is one of my favorites (I like history).
