Really P*$$ed Off!!!

OK! Have mentality levels on this board dropped drastically in the last few days? This board has become a disgrace! Sorry but I am so angry right now!

First off we have a post suggesting that we Shania fans go over to a Faith board and start trouble just because all Faith fans don't bow down and kiss Shania's feet! Get a grip! They are entitled to talk about whatever they want on thier board!

Then we have a post accusing us of going over there and starting trouble despite the fact that had this person taken the 2 whole seconds to actually read the threads on that original post they would know that our regular members rejected that suggestion to the very last person! Gotta love it when new people come around just to stir the pot!

Then, and this is the most disappointing of all, we have an administrator telling us that we are nolonger entitled to an opinion or sense of humour, because someone might think it's a put down! So I guess what we are now allowed to say on this board is: : "Gee I love Shania", "Gosh I wonder when her new album will be out", And golly gee if we wish hard enough and click our heels together 3 times maybe it'll come out tomorrow! http://www.shaniaforums.com/rolleyes.gif Whatever you do though don't post a topic about Shania and Britney because lord help us if someone is politically incorrect enough to say I don't like Britney or I don't like Mariah! Guess what? I don't like sensorship!!!!!!! If someone says I think Mariah is a H*e! That's offensive and derrogatory! If someone say I don't like Mariah, I don't like the way Mariah dresses, Or I don't like Britney, that is an O-P-I-N-I-O-N . I would have thought that an administrator would respect peoples right to an opinion! Of course that's just my OPINION!!!!!!!!

First off, I am sorry if I offended or upset anybody, I didn't mean to. I agree with what others are saying, I am in no way trying to " stir the pot". Also in no way did I incouraged anybody to go to the Faith site and start a fight, I just went to see what everybody was so bent out of shape about. I aggree completely, let them have there own site and don't worry about what they say. With that said, I will say no more.

Okay. Like I can understand where you're coming from and all, but chill out!

How should one topic that you have negative feelings toward give you the right to pronounce this place as a disgrace.

You must remember that this is a very diverse place and that everyone is going to disagree with something. Yes, there are some trouble makers out there. Get over it.

I don't mean for this to be aimed directly towards you, but to everyone in general. If you do like how this place is operated, that is really just your problem. Discontinue your use of the Shania Twain Forums and it'll be alright.

Monica, you know Mondo... he's just cuttin' up. Sometimes you have to take some of the things he says with a grain of salt. (I guess he's just a little testy now over the recent problems with his site and his host Peel.com) I don't speak for him but I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to offended anyone. Right Mondo??

Well, I suppose the statements I make can sound a little sour sometimes. If that is the impression you got, sorry! I often get frustrated with some members here who put down the forums. I snap back because what I said is basically what I think. Some do not like what I have to say, but oh well.

You are an overall great member Monica, and I don't want you to leave. To me you're one of those members who's posts I look forward to reading.
