YESTERDAY THIS INMATURE KID WAS POSTING ALL THE TIME SAYING THINGS THAT NEVER SHOULD BE POSTED AND YOU WAS SO SLOW IN DELETED AND WHEN THIS WAS SOLUTIONATED , THIS MORNING WHILE I WAS DRINKING A COFFE UNTIL GO TO WORK I READ THE FORUM AND I SAW ONE POST OF HIM AGAIN AND NOW I´VE JUST ARRIVED AT HOME AND I WAS SURE YOU WERE SOLUTIONATED THIS BUT NOT!!!!!!! THIS POST IS STILL!!!!!!!!

We are unable to monitor things 24 hours a day which is why we have a number of moderators in the hopes that these things will be remedied as quickly as possible. However all of us I`m sure have our own lives to attend to as well and may not always be able to check the forums every other minute. The best thing to do if something like this happens is to use the email links in the "Contact Us" box and let either Matt or myself know what the problem is, and where it is. As soon as I was emailed about the problem with that guy I removed him from the system. This is an open bulletin board system so there is only so much we can do but we do our best.

There is no more room for anymore moderators. There can be a max of 4 per forum room and they are all filled.

We try hard to keep this place as clean as we can, but the moderators do not, I repeat, do not have the power to ban or delete members.

Like I always say, if you don't like how things are here that's really just your problem. You should discontinue your use of the forums.

I don't mean this directly to you Sylvia, but to all members.

I'm sorry but that was kind of strange.If you are saying that then you'll loose almost half of your members because for sure we don't like how that guy was acting! And now u just tell us to leave if we don't like it.There goes all your members!He's the one who should leave.

Well, if any of you decide to take him up on his advice, you can always come to www.shania-twain.org! (http://www.shania-twain.org!) It has great message boards and we are all one big family. The moderators are very nice and open to suggestions! Hopefully though, it will not come to that!

I did not like what you wrote in your last post here. Telling Shania Spain that she could leave if she did not like it here.

So now, I take it personnaly: Because I didn't like what you said I should leave????

ShaniaSpain did not deserve to be told that.
I for one did not expect anything of the sort from a moderator. What she expressed was valid, and most of us probably feel the same way as her. I do.

The way I see it, it's our Forum. The day it's not ours, will be one where most of us will leave (so I think).

Shania Spain's expectations where reasonable, and your explanation was very acceptable. But to add that one extra line. Was out of line.

I think you owe her and us an apology.

Yeah, there are the forums over at ES and STC. Sure, go there, however their
posts are more boring. I never said that I wasn't open to suggestions. We all are,

do is criticize on how we try to make this place the best and safest environment for
all people.

You knew that dude was gonna be gone within a few days. So why do you all make
a big deal about it.

Almost every month something goes on to where it causes a rash brake out of
complaints about how all you members aren't happy here. Why do you all do that?
I'm not the only moderator and admin that feels like that way, however I am the only
one that tells it how it is and thats what makes me appear as if I'm mean or
something.

Get over this! Move on with your daily posts that make this forum as cool and big as
it is. I do admit that I was wrong by saying that you all should leave if you don't like
it here. Yeah... Sorry. S-o-r-r-y! Just get over this PeterBuilt dude because he's
already been deleted.

You are making this a bigger problem than it is. Problem has been solved. He's
gone, so now you don't have to leave. I know most you you are good people, but it
just makes me mad sometimes when I see posts that almost put down/degrate the
moderators.

my first post i was angry what was happened in the forum(and i would like to know you that i´m not the enemie but this guy!!!) but when i read longshot

HERE IN THIS FORUM THERE´RE MINORS!!!!!! We could be quicker to respond to problems if the Forums were our sole responsibility but we do have other things to do on an everyday basis just like everyone else here so therefore we can't always catch something the minute it comes up. All I can say is we're trying and we'll continue to try to keep things running smooth.

But instead of putting us (moderators) down in these messages everyone can help us moderate the forums by emailing us when you see a problem. Now we won't be able to address the situation until we get to our email but at least the situation will be our top priority when we do!

Sticks and stones.... LETS STOP FIGHTING! One troublemaker has turned the forums into a moderator vs. member fued. I'm sure the troublemaker might like the ability to do things like that but we're better than that, we won't let them ruin our main reason for being here, our admiration for Shania and each other!

Don't let things get to you so easily to where you worry about it day and night. It's simply not worth it. Don't worry too much, you'll just grow old faster. http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif

As I said in another post, I am sorry that I said that if you don't like it here, then leave. I do not want you people to really leave, but my point is that at least every month or every other month some members start to whine and complain. What makes me different from the other moderators is that I don't care what my position in this forum is, if I have something to say I will say it. It makes me mad when members, such as yourself, say that we're not doing a good job. As Phil said, we do have lives too and we cannot attend to the forums 24/7.

You people were whining and complaining about PeterBuilt, and because I HAVE NO POWER TO ERASE OR BAN MEMBERS, I spent between 45 minutes to an hour erasing most of PeterBuilt's posts on Friday night around 2 AM. That was the most that I could do at the moment. It frustrates and makes me mad when you people make it seem like we're not doing nothing about the situation.

By yelling and complaining about how us moderators aren't doing a good job, nothing is being accomplished. As Matthew said, we should all do out part in keeping the forums clean. If you feel a member needs to be banned, you should e-mail Matt or Phil. If you feel a topic needs to be closed, moved, or if a post needs to be erased you should e-mail either myself or one of the other moderators.

I am sure some of you think I'm the bad guy now, but whatever. Don't make me mad, I won't make you mad. http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif I have no hard feelings toward any of you and I'm not the type to hold grudges (with some exceptions, but that's besides the point). http://www.shaniaforums.com/tongue.gif

In conclusion, I'm ready to forget about this mishap. I'm cool if you're cool. No hard feelings, yadi, yadi, ya. Have a groovy day!

You took that post to you personally, and many of us took some of your posts personally. The STUSOFC is not a boring forum at all!! It is great!! What upset me about your post was that you told us to leave if we did not like the way things were done here!! Sorry, that was wrong! In the future, I will just rely on the other moderators to handle my problems! I certainly do not want to bother or upset you again!

I'm sorry wine. You are a good man. I know you are! However, I took it
personally when Sylvia said "YOU NEVER ARE HERE!!!!!!!!...WHAT ARE
YOU DOING ALL THIS TIME..." I am not the only moderator, however I am one
of them and I took it personally. I, nor the rest of us moderators do not deserve that
neither.

So wine, please understand my frustration and where I'm coming from.

Yeah, there are the forums over at ES and STC. Sure, go there, however their
posts are more boring. I never said that I wasn't open to suggestions. We all are,
that's the purpose of this forum room. I just makes me mad because all you people
do is criticize on how we try to make this place the best and safest environment for
all people.

You knew that dude was gonna be gone within a few days. So why do you all make
a big deal about it.

Almost every month something goes on to where it causes a rash brake out of
complaints about how all you members aren't happy here. Why do you all do that?
I'm not the only moderator and admin that feels like that way, however I am the only
one that tells it how it is and thats what makes me appear as if I'm mean or
something.

To All:

Get over this! Move on with your daily posts that make this forum as cool and big as
it is. I do admit that I was wrong by saying that you all should leave if you don't like
it here. Yeah... Sorry. S-o-r-r-y! Just get over this PeterBuilt dude because he's
already been deleted.

You are making this a bigger problem than it is. Problem has been solved. He's
gone, so now you don't have to leave. I know most you you are good people, but it
just makes me mad sometimes when I see posts that almost put down/degrate the
moderators.

LOL I was wondering when the reaction about the STUSOFC remark will come. And I was willing to bet Talkalot24 will be the one to do it. http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif As a member of the STUSOFC myself, I can’t say I blame her for doing this. I wouldn’t qualify them as boring, but they are a little different. As far as I’m concerned there is no competition between them, they are complementary in many people’s needs.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I think this topic should be closed. We are going around in circles and I see another circle coming up. Prolonging this debate will serve no good, we seem to be grumpy today, probably because the weekend is over and we don’t really enjoy it. Putting the joke aside, if this is going to continue I think it is better to be done by mail in a private circle, out of respect for the huge majority that want this brought to an end. I hate to think what would happen if we would follow the same patterns if we would have a PeterBilt every day from now on. Let us think twice before posting anything that might hurt others, no matter on which side we are.
