I have really enjoyed reading the thread "I Heard Did You?" http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif As a group we have an abundance of imagination and creativity, that's for sure lol http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif I thought that it would be cool if we could create our own Shania Christmas story http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gif Everyone can participate by adding a paragraph, dialogue between Shania & Mutt, whatever you would like. You can even write yourself and anyone else here at the forums into your post. Contribute however many posts you would like to the thread http://www.shaniaforums.com/smile.gifI have a feeling that this will make for one entertaining story http://www.shaniaforums.com/wink.gif

"A Shania Christmas Tale"

The door burst open as snow and wind blew into the front hallway. Mutt rushed inside, his cheeks red from the Swiss winter winds. He turned and peered at the door,

"Bring her on in boys", he said waving in two young men. They followed Mutt inside, pulling in a lush, green Christmas tree tied in netting.

Shania came rushing downstairs, and stopped to smell the wonderfuls scent of pine that filled the hall. For a moment the young men paused to watch her as she walked towards Mutt and gave him loving hug.

"What do you think," Mutt asked with a proud smile. He knew that he had pleased her by the way she smiled up at him.

"It's perfect! I just wish that my family were here to see it. I know it will only be the two of us this Christmas, but it's going to feel so empty."

Mutt ruffled her hair and hugged her again.

"I know Woody. Christmas is a time for sharing. It would be great if could have our friends.....someone to share the holiday with."

Their conversation was stilled by the sound of knocking at the front door...

.... As Shania went to the door ,with a smile on her face Mutt was telling the men where to put the tree. Shania opened the door and was suprised to see Manu and Carol at her door with a Peach (eggless) pie thay had baked for her( they live close to her). Shania was now glowing with happiness and took the pie and asked them to come in. From there they could see Tim and Mutt and the two men that were helping them.As they came into the house they saw how huge it was. Shania told them to come with her to the kitchen. While they were walking Shania turned and asked them.....

"Do you two have plans for Christmas." "No" they responded in unison. " Why don't you join us then" said Shania with a grin. "We would love to" said Carol exitedly. "Do you think our friend iloveshania and her two girls could join us as well?" "The more the Merrier" exclaimed Shania with delight. "Maybe Ben and Wine would like to join us as well" said Shania. "That's them helping Mutt with the tree". They walked back into the living room ...

Shania asked Ben and Wine if they would like to stay here for christmas. "Well of course, We´d love that!", they said together. At the same time Shanias mobile phone was peeping. "I got a message!", she said. "Oh, how sweet, Matti, my fan from Finland, just wished me Merry Christmas. I´ll reply him and ask if he would also like to come here!"

A couple of minutes later Matti replied that he´ll come with his wife tomorrow..

Meanwhile, the Christmas tree has been made soo beautiful! Shania looked at it and said:...

"Wow its the best xmas tree ever" tears appearing her eyes, mutt smiled warmly at her and said....

"It reminded me of you" Your beautiful sparckling green eyes in the moonlight,your beautiful hair when it waves in the wind, Your beautiful face when you smile at me...and......when....u...."shania moves closer slowly to kiss him...eyes closing...slowly. Mutt finishes by saying "kiss....me.." They kiss........
then Shania says something romantic to him......

"We'll finish this up later Love," Shania laughed and playfully kissed the tip of his nose.
She turned to the guests,"Guys we have my own special eggless eggnog in our kitchen, follow me!"

Shania took the peach pie from Carol & Manu."Boy, I can't wait to have big ole piece of this! By the way, you girls look familiar. Have we met before?"

Manu & Carol laughed.What could they say?

"What answer will allow us to stay?" Manu asked with a nervous smile as they followed her into the kitchen.

"C'mon girls, the truth," Shania said as she began to cut into the pie.

"Well," Carol began,"We were outside your gates..."

"I knew it was you," Shania laughed."It's cool guys. It helps to remind me that the fans haven't forgotten me."

Shania was serving Carol & Manu their pie when Ben & Wine walked into the kitchen. They looke cold and exhausted as they took off their gloves and their coats.

"Two more pieces," Shania asked them with her best hostess' smile. Ben & Wine gave two shy nods. "Alright, two it is," she laughed.

She began to cut two more pieces of pie when the phone rang...

" I'll get it!!!!!" Mutt called out cheerfully as he walked into the living room.

"Yelloooooooooo Mr.Mutt Lange here!Happy Holidays!How may I help you?"

"Well happy holidays to you to sir!This is ANDREW from the postoffice and I'm calling to say we have a delivery for your wife from the Shania.net forums! It's neatly packaged and nicely coloured.You should pick it up before the office closes which is at about 8pm! because we'll be closed for christmas!"

"Well yupperoo!!Someone will go pick it up as soon as possible!"

"Thank you Sir.Have a merry X-mas..you and your beautiful wife."
"I will thanx. Goodnight."

Mutt hung up the phone and went into the kitchen to tell Shania about the package and noticed Shania doing something he had never seen her do before.........

... she was playing Twister in the living room with manu, carol, and wine. Ben was spinning the spinner.
"Right hand on blue". he said
With that Shania came tumbiling down knocking wine down with her. The whole room started to rise with laughter. Manu and Carol were laughing sooooo hard they fell over too.
Mutt was standing in the doorway laughing and clapping.Then Shania yelled " Hey, love, come here"
Mutt walked to Shania.
"Come play with us" she said.
" I don't know, I'm not the Twister type" he said
"Pleeeeaaasssseee, it will be fun." shania said "Come ono you guys help me"
Everyone was now yelling "PLLEEEAAASSSEE!"
Mutt coulden't refuse. He got down on his hands and knees next to Shania. Manu and Carol and Wine knew that the had to sit this one out and watch.
Shania said in a playful manner"I'm gunna beat ya" Mutt and her laughed.
Ben called out the first one "Left foot Green"......

Shania moved her foot over. The game went on for several minutes, and as Mutt began to relax everyone began to see the Mutt that Shania fell in love with. By the time the two of them tumbled to the floor everybody in the room was laughing hysterically. Just then the doorbell rang. Mutt went to answer it. It was iloveshania and her girls. Mini Shania burst into the room, threw her arms around Shania, and said I love you Shania! Shania smiled down at her and...

said "Well I love you too sweety! Come on in guys!We were just having a little fun!" Mutt sat on the couch and Shania sat on top of him.
" Would you guys like anything to drink or eat?" Mutt asked nicely.
"Oh no thanx we're fine!"said iloveshania.
Then mini Shania ran to shania and mutt and said in her sweetest lil voice" can I sit too?"
"Sure! There's plenty of room!"said Shania.
The whole room filled with laughter when Tim came running in the room and jumped on mini Shania's lap!
"YEY!" the little girl yelled as she and Tim went running to the basement.
"Tim behave yourself!" called mutt.
About an hour later............

Shania looks around at every one and says "Hey I'm sure there where more of you, where are some of the younger ones and Ben?"

"Well" iloveshania said " Mini-you(she said with a small giggle)and Tim ran down to the basement. Everyone else just followed."
There was a brief pause.
"I wonder what ther doing down there?"Mutt said.
"They're probably just playing with tim." responded iloveshania.
Then some chit-chatting went on between them about what Shania and Mutt had been doing for fun besides work on the album over their break. About five minutes later the basement door opened.
"Here they come." shania said.
When they came out they saw that tim had a red ball on his nose, and a single antler tied to his head. Connected to him was a leash that was being held on to by ben. Ben was dressed in all green fluffy sweaters that they had found.He was sitting in a tiny red cardboard box that was supposed to be a slay that all the others were holding up.
"The grinch" yelled Shania.
Everyone was laughing. Then all of a sudden Shania......

Fell off the couch.
"Ouch!" She yelled!you could hear a big thump.
Mutt quickly got up and said" Oops..I should have been holding u tighter.....are u alright?"
Everyone waiting for a reply in silence.

Shania laughed,"No reason to worry Love. I fell on my backside on stage in front of a stadium full of people, this is no big deal."

Mini Shania looked up at iloveshania and whispered,"Mom, she's so cool."

There was a knock at the door and Mutt ran into the front hall to answer it. It was a delivery man holding a package.

"Delivery for Ms. Shania Twain," The delivery man said.

"Cool deal, I'll sign for it, I'm her husband,"Mutt said as he signed the claim slip.

"Yes, I know you are her husband," the delivery guy laughed and handed Mutt the heavy package.

"Merry Christmas man," Mutt said closing the door. He looked down at the return adress. It read "Shania.Net Forums USA".

Shania walked into the hall to meet Mutt with Mini Shania following her like a small shadow.

"What is it Love," Shania asked.

Mutt smiled and handed it to her. Shania took the package and sat down on the floor beside Mini Shania to open it. She pulled back the brown wrapper to find a thick book with a lovely hadn crafted cover. In gold lettering it read "To Shania From All Your Fans At Shania.Net". Shania opened the book and smiled. There were letters and photos and even poems written to her by fans. Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at Mutt.

"I take it that you like it,"Mutt said running his hand over her cheek.

"It's wonderful," she cried."I have been worried that my fans would forget me and now, I know they haven't."

Mini Shania put her arms around Shania and gave her a hug.

"We haven't forgotten you Shania. You will always been number one to us."

Shania looked up and saw all her guests standing there smiling at her.

"We love you Shania," they said in unison.

"I love all of u too," she said.

The sound of knocking at the front door sent Mutt back into the front hall...

Shania looked up as Mutt opened the door.

" SURPRISE!" everyone yelled from outside!
"come on in guys!" said mutt.

Shania just watched in confusion....
"sorry we're late!" said stephania.
"The car broke down and samantha t couldnt fix it! But then londo helped with his long explanation of how to fix cars."

Shania stared in confussion.."mutt who are these funny people?"

"surprise" he said...."these are all your fans from the shania forums! they have come to spend christmas with us! I invited them!"
shania opened her mouth.."all of them??!!!" tears came to her eyes.
samantha t walked in. The others followed...one by one they gave shania hugs telling her how much they loved her.

Soon everyone was in the dining room eating dinner.Stephania picked at the meat (mutt bought meat for the guests)..sam picked at the mash potatoes "man are these good"
While everyone ate Shania went upstairs to the bedroom to slip on something more comfortable...something more her style....while in the middle of changing mutt came to the room also....it was the 2 alone..."from this moment" playing in the background...........

Mutt smiled at her,and asked her to dance.They where dancing very slowly."Did i tell you today that i love you?",asked Mutt."No,you didn't",Said Shania."I love you very much.You are the best thing that ever happend to me",said Mutt."I love you to".Thank you for inviting the peopple from the forums.They are great.It's so nice to know that there are treu fans that would stand by me no matter what.I love all of them.You know what we should do,Mutt?I think that we should join the forums".
"That is a great idea.But we have to have a username.Let's go downstairs and ask the peopple from the forums if they know a username for us".Said Mutt.So they went downstairs,Looked at the guests,and Shania said:

Shania said.

"Perfect 1" yelled mini shania. Everyone laughed but agreed.
Shania who everyone could tell was blushing "Really?" she said shyly.
Sam then said "lets take a vote."
everyone including Mutt raised their hands.
Then mini shania said" Then its settled...YOUR PERFECT!"The whole room laughed.
Then out of the blue Mutt.....

...took Shania in his arms, kissed her gently, and said, "you've always been perfect to me"! Everyone around the table smiled quietly in agreement! Then Shania and Mutt joined thier guests at the table. Shania gave the blessing, saying how thankful she is for all her fans! Ben, unable to contain himself any longer, said "you're grateful for us, you're my reason for living"! Shania smiled shyly and said ...

if it wasn't for you i'd be nothing,
Mutt smiled and nodded saying "yeah you guys are great, you have always supported us and never doubted us, you all are the best fans in the universe".
"We could never of lasted this long without your support", added shania.
With these coments everyone round the table was beaming and wore the biggest smiles ever seen.
Shania got up and left the room she soon returned with..

A preveiw copy of her new Album for everyone. The smiles got bigger as they recived their gifts.Ben gave her a really big hug that really surpised her. Then she gave a little preforamce of what will be her new single. While she was singing....

Samantha and Ben started dancing.Soon everyone joined. Mini shania danced with Mutt,everyone had a partner! THEN after Shania sang 2 songs she told everyone "Mutt and I have a surprise for you." And then Mutt got up, grabbed a mic and the music started playing.....Mutt started singing....shania sang too.....It was a love song.....a beautiful love song that mutt and shania had recorded together and they were going to put it on the new album! Everyone got tears in their eyes.....no one blinked....everyone just stood there with their mouths wide open....Sam even fell off her chair.......

But Stephania was there to help her up, and Sam laughed as she gave her a hand.
By this time, it was getting very late, and Mini Shania was starting to fall asleep. She said to Shania, "Shania... I'm sleepy! (Yawn) Can you tuck me into bed?" Then iloveshania bursted out, "Now honey, don't be rude! We're not staying the night here! We have to leave Shania and Mutt alone!" But Shania said, "Oh no, sweetie! That's a great idea! I mean, with the 100 rooms we have, you guys can all stay the night here!"
Then, Steph and Sam looked at each other and started freaking out, smiling from ear to ear.
"What is it girls? Why are you laughing so much?"
"Well..." Sam said.
"Me and Sam sometimes make up these stories about us visiting you, and sleeping over at your house, but we never thought it would come true.." said Steph.
".. But now it is!!" Exclaimed Sam.
"Well, I'm glad that I'm making your dream come true!" said Shania sweetly. She smiled at them and her eyes sparkled.
"It's that look!!" Steph and Sam whispered to each other.

So, Shania took Mini Shania upstairs to one of the many spare bedrooms in their chateau...

" Can you sing me something soft?" mini shania asked
" Sure" replied Shania "what would you like?"
" You pick" said mini shania
" Well it's Christmas, so I'll sing a Christmas song" shania then said.
She started to sing the sweatest " Have yourself A Merry Little Christmas" anyone has ever heard. As Shania finished she was looking down at mini her witha grin on her face. Mini Shania seemed to be asleep. Shania gave her a small kiss on the cheek then slowly got up and started to the door.
"I love you Shania" said mini shania
"I love you too, I thought you were sleeping" wispered shania.
"I coulden't sleep when you were singing, I wanted to hear you." said mini shania.
" Can I tell you a secret?" wispered
shania "Something only mutt and I know?"
"Sure" said mini shania" I promise I won't tell"
" Well" started shania "....

"I really want to have a little girl just like you"! "Why don't you?" asked Mini Shania. "I'm to busy right now" answered Shania, "but someday I hope"! "Until then you and mom can share me" said Mini Shania grinning! "I'd love that" said Shania, with tears coming to her eyes! "Could you sing me just one more song?" asked Mini Shania. "Only if you promise to go to sleep" answered Shania with a smile. "I promise" said Mini Shania. Shania sang an Ojibwe lullaby which her Grandmother used to sing to her! "Auntie Shania, can we go horseback riding tomorrow?" Begged a now very sleepy Mini Shania! "You bet we can sweetie" said Shania, kissing her on the forehead. Shania then went downstairs to rejoin her guests. She couldn't believe...

that everybody had stoped partying and where just sitting down. "Come On Everybody whats wrong?" Ben stood up looked around and walked ran out of the room in tears. Shania had a worried look on her face "Whats Happened?"....

"We just checked the forums while you were gone and well see there's this troll called CJB who comes onto the forums and trashes you and all of us every chance she gets" said Jersey Fan. "Troll?" giggled Shania! "Yeah, and she was saying some really nasty things about you and iloveshania, and well Ben loves you both so much it really upsets him" continued Geronimo. "I see" said Shania with an understanding nod. "Are you OK" said Shania looking at iloveshania. "Yeah, I just don't understand how someone can be so vicious" answers iloveshania. "I know what you mean, but you just have to let it roll off your back" says Shania. Shania then leaves in search of Ben. She finds him...

Ben is in the stables and Shania walks over to him. "Ben", what are you doing out here?
It's really cold out here. Why don't you come back inside!" At that very moment, they here a loud rumble come up to the stables. It's BP and her husband and 2 kids. They're on snowmobiles. "Mutt said we should keep these out here." Bp's husband says. "Welcome!" says Shania. She
gives them all a big hug, Winks at Ben and says, "You're such a great person. No worries now o-k. I'm fine." She helps him up and Bp says. "We have a 4 truck loads of sleds that you wanted and there all ready for us to have some fun tommorrow."
Shania says"I love it" I can't remember the last time I went snowmobiling." she smiles, "Lets get back inside where it's warm." They all walk back to the chateau and the Christmas lights are beautifully decorated up the path. They walk inside and...

iloveshania looks up from where her and Manu are talking and getting to know each other better! "BP! I'm so happy to see you" said iloveshania. "It wouldn't be a family christmas without you guys here". "Thanks iloveshania. It's great to see all of you to" Said BP. "We brought snowmobiles for everyone". "Hurray" they all shouted together! Meanwhile Ben was sitting on the couch with Shania. She had her arm around his shoulder to comfort him, and he had a grin on his face that lit up the entire room! Then Mutt said...

"Hey Ben Perkins, don't steal her from me now."It was a playful warning and both Mutt & Ben laughed. Shania just sat back and smiled sweetly at the two of them.

"C'mon guys, no fighting," she laughed.

"Not fighting Woody," Mutt said pulling Ben up from the sofa. They put one arm over the eachother's shoulders and stood together both grinning as if they were brothers.

"Good. I am glad to see that the two of you are going to behave," Shania said, smiling beautifully.

"Of course," said Ben as Mutt gave him a hearty pat on the back.

Meanwhile, across the room, Heather was seated on the floor eating a piece of the delicious, eggless peach pie along with Londo & RJ. They had been embroiled in a dicussion concerning the nuclear arms race. But, Heather felt a bit distracted and grew quiet as she finished up her piece of pie.

"Earth to Heather,"Londo laughed waving a hand in front of her face.

Heather laughed,"Sorry guys."

"You looked like you were a world away. Care to share," RJ asked.

"Well, I was thinking, here we are with Shania. And we might not get another chance to meet with her. I am graduating next year and it would be a dream come true for me to work for Shania. So, I was thinking of going and begging her for a job."

RJ laugh,"Beg? You mean on hands and knees?"

"With my face down to the ground if I had to," Heather laughed.

"Well why don't you just get up and do it,"Londo proposed.

"Uh.....well....suppose she is put off by me asking. Perhaps I should..."

"It's now or never Heather. You said so yourself," said RJ.

"C'mon, go for it,"Londo urged,

"I really shouldn't guys after all..."

Before she could say another word Londo & RJ pulled her up from her feet and gave her a gentle push towards Shania. Heather could feel herself shaking and felt the urge to run away. But, it was too late when she saw that Shania noticed her walking her way. Shania smiled & waved her over.

"What's up girl," Shania asked.

"H-Hi Shania, I....um...I wanted to...ummmm...well,"Heather bumbled.

"Heather, you can breath you know," Shania laughed,"C'mon and take a seat."

Heather sat down, still feeling incredible nervous. Shania patted her on the shoulder and waited for her to speak.

"Well, Shania I am a PR major and I will be graduating next year and...."

"Let me guess, you want a job," Shania said with a knowing grin.

"Good guess,"Heather laughed. She looked at Shania with hopeful eyes.

"Well you are in luck Heather. I happen be in need of a personal assistant. You see the woman that has been working with me is prenant and has decided to be a Mum so I have been looking."

"Really, said Heather. She felt as if the excitement was about to choke her.

"Yeah, so how about you stay here with a us for a week after the first of the year. Sort of like a mini training program, perhaps I might persuade you to take the semester off."

"Oh persuade away,"Heather laughed."So is that a 'yes'?"

Shania held out her hand,"Welcome aboard Heather!"

Heather was so excited that she hugged Shania.

Suddenly a startling, explosive sound came from the kitchen. Mutt & Ben ran into the living room with smoke pouring out of the door behind them...

Everybody looked at them and asked what happened.

Something suddenly exploded, said Mutt.

They go back to the kitchen to see if anything was broken.

Mutt: Well, it isnt that bad. Tomorrow we shall clean it here.

Then, the bell rings again.

Who is it this time? Asked Iloveshania.

Shania is going to open the door.

Its Loonecho, she is actually pretty cold, because its freezing.
Who are you? Askes Shania.
Im Yvette, but my name is Loonecho on the forums. Im late, but I just saw on the internet you were having a party here, so I thought Im going too.

You can warm yourself at the fire in the living room, everybody is there, says Shania.

And indeed everybody is in the room. Everybody has a wonderful time, until someone said....

"Oh damn", said Shania's Fan Forever. "I am so forgetful, I knew I had to do something before I came". Everyone is looking around at eachother all looking curious, until Slope broke the silence and said "Whatever could it be?". "Well I forgot to feed my rabbit, Twainy and I haven't got anyone to feed her", Shania's Fan Forever sobs. "It's ok, I'll arrange someone to feed Twainy for you", Shania said with a smile coming across her beautiful face. "You would do that for me?", said Shania's Fan Forever. "Well you are a fan of mine arn't you?" "Well of course!" "Well I care about my fans. I'll be right back, I will go and make some phone calls". Slope comes and sits beside Shania's Fan Forever and says "I knew she would do something, as she cares for animals so much that she wouldn't let anything bad happen to them if she can help it". "I know", said Shania's Fan Forever. Slope then gave Shania's Fan Forever a big hug, but was distraced when there was a huge screeching noise coming from outside all of a sudden. "I'll go and check it out", said Mutt. When he opened the front door, all he could see was.....

Wild Ones car attached to the bumper of Mutts Mercedes! "Oops" said Wild One with a shy grin! "Guess I shoulda hit the brakes sooner"! "No kidding" exclaims Sandra as she steps out of the passenger side door. "Oh, hunny are you OK?" asks Wild One. "I'm just fine sweetie" answers Sandra. Wild One looks at Mutt and says "Don't worry man. I can fix that". Mutt grins and says "no worries it's just a car. Are you two alright?" "Yeah, thanks" replied Wild One. They all went inside. "What happened Love" asked Shania. "Well...

"Wild one just had a little trouble parking thats all Shania.Let's go inside it's cold!" And with that he picked her up and carried her inside.
"They are so cute together!"said Sandra as she went up the steps to go inside. Wild one follwed along and said "Yes..Maybe I should carry you inside too!"
Sandra giggled and said "To late!We're almost inside!Just kiss me!" And they kissed under the moonlight.
Meanwhile inside Shania and Mutt were giggling as he tickled her and placed her on the couch.Everyone just watched and giggled along.
Then the door opened and in came a beautiful Sandra holding Wild one's hand.
"Hey you came!"yelled winemaker.
Shania got up and gave them each a hug" Come in!" she said.They sat down.
Well it got really boring so they put in a SCAREY movie turned off all the lights while all the kids were sleeping soundly upstairs.(kids under 12)
Shania and Mutt cuddled, Sandra and wild one cuddled, all the couples cuddled.
Suddenly someone got stabbed in the movie!
Shania screamed!!

He heard everyone crying....everyone......just crying.....
"um...did I miss something?" he asked.
"oh love turn this movie off!It's so sad!" sniffed Shania.
Mutt turned it off.
"Im hungry" said ben.
"Well then lets have some cakes and goodies! Oh I have peach pie!!! Anyone want peach pie?!!!!Yum!!! Love can you cut me a slice of it!please!!" Said a happy Shania.
"I'll have anything of yours shania." siad ben.

When everyone was finished eating their goodies they all went outside while mocha stayed inside watching the sleeping kids....mocha and tim would switch every 10 minutes.

Shania started making a beautiful figured snow angel.Others joined.

But Ben, Wild one ,winemaker and Londo went in the back of the house....they had a better idea.....they started pilling up snow..They were going to make a shania snowdiva!
Londo sneaked inside and got the shoes and the clothes.....

Meanwhile at the front of the house....

Was a knock it was kayla and her friend tanya and her relatives.Asking if they can come and have some fun with everyone else here. And make this the best christmas ever. then everyone started talking then kayla said " one at a time people" so mutt said

Shania gave kayla and her family a hug and then said "come make snow angels!"

After a while they got tired of making snow angels and it started snowing!So they lay down and just stuck out their toungs.

Soon wild one and the gang came from the back and told everyone to go see their beautiful Shania snowdiva.
Everyone gasped in amazement....
"WOW...." said samantha with her mouth open.
"You can say that again!" said shania with HER mouth open as well.
"Thanx guys!"she said and she hugged them all. Mutt took pictures...It was a job well done....it looked exactly like her!

Then it got very cold and everyone went inside to go to bed.
The chrismtas tree was glittering as everyone slept........

They were awakened by the excited squeals of children. As the sleepy eyed adults slowly filtered downstairs they saw a mountain of gifts under the tree, and the children dancing around in anticipation. Then Ben...

took a small box out of his pocket. "Here Shania this is for you" Shania opened it and it was a Gold necklace. "Oh Ben its Beautiful" Shania "It must have cost you a fortune". Ben smiled shyly "But Your worth it Shania. Merry Christmas." Shania smiled and kisse him on the cheek. "Merry Chistmas Ben" she gave him a hug and walked over to Mutt who.....

kissed her. she kissed him back.
this is for you" he whispered as he handed her a box.She then handed him a box and said "This is for you love" They sat on the floor together and quietly opened their gifts wondering what their love had gave them.........

Shania opened Mutt's gift first. She carefully tore open the shiny red wrapping and pulled off the golden bow. Inside the box, nestled inside the tissue paper was a photograph inside a silver frame. Shania pulled it out of the box and looked at the picture. It was a picture taken of she & Mutt the night they first met at Fan Fair. They were standing side-by-side with his strong arm looped around her shoulders. They both looked so happy. It seemed like only a moment had passed since she first laid eyes on her "Love". Seven years had passed and so much had happened for both of them. That moment was the begining of her dream. And thanks to Mutt she had everything that she had ever wanted, an outstanding career and most of importantly, love.

"Where did you get this Love,' she asked with tears in her eyes.
Mutt knelt beside her and kissed her cheek,"Bryan took it when we met, remember?"
"Oh yes,"Shania laughed,"I had forgotten! So much has happened since then you know."
They both laughed. Yes, it had been quite a wild ride since the picture was taken.
"Now open yours," Shania said handing Mutt his gift.
Mutt tore open the paper and pulled the top off of the box. Inside was video tap with a label that said "play me".
"Ah a mystery gift," he raised his brows at Shania who nodded towards the VCR. Mutt walked over to the television and put the tape into the VCR and pressed play. Everyone was just as curious as Mutt.
The tape revealed footage of Shania sitting in front of their fire place with her favorite guitar cradled in her lap. She looked at the camera with a shy smile,

"Remember how I was struggling to write the other night? I went into the woods the next morning while you were still asleep and finished this song. So Love this is for you."

She began to gently strum her guitar, creating a beautiful, yet simple harmony and. Everyone in the room watched the screen, transfixed by Shania and the music that she created. She began to sing a song that brought tears to a few eyes and smiles to most. When the song was over she blew a kiss at the camera and said,"Merry Christmas Love." The screen went black as Mutt turned to Shania and said...

When everyone was finished breakfast they started to leave.Shania and Mutt were at the door hugging everyone and thanking them for a wonderful Chrismtas. " Come visit again sometime!" Shania called out as the last person went out the door."Oh we will!" said little Shania who blew Shania a kiss.
Shania winked at her and shut the door.
"Well" said Mutt, hugging Shania."Why dont we start an early anniversary..3 days of fun! Of course you only get your BIG all-time surprise on the 28th but hey,Little surprises on the way wont hurt!"

Then shania said "Well Ben, actually mutt and I were in the middle of planning these next few days....but...u can stay for some tea!"
"See I didnt let samantha and stephania stay because I had plans so it wouldnt be fair to them if I let you stay the night.But as Shania said, you can stay for some tea and maybe I'll show you around downstaris." said Mutt

Ben was sad...but he said "Alright..."

Shania smiled and said "I'll go make some tea!"
Shania left the room.

"Wanna watch football?There's a game on right now!"
"o.k.." said ben.

Soon Shana came with the tea and some cookies.

They drank and Ben asked Shania questions that some of his friends at the shania.net forums had always wanted to know like what kind of bathing suit would she wear or what she would name her children and would she ever have children. (LOL)
Ben stayed more then just for some tea..he stayed until about 4 o'clockpm and everyone else had left at about 11am. He had a smashing day!

"Well" he said, "I guess I'll be heading home."
Shania looked outside."Oh it looks really cold! Love will you drive him home?"
"Sure!" said Mutt.
Shania hugged Ben once more and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
Then she kissed Mutt and gave HIM a kiss on the forehead. "Bye now! Love hurry back!" she said and shut the door.

Shania trembled. "aahh I'ts cold!"
Then she looked around........
"oh...I'm all alone...I haven't been alone in this house for a long time..."
Shania kinda got the chills.
"Tim....come here baby..come stay with mommy!!!" Tim came running.

Shania turned on the living room light and sat on the couch and looked around. Tim sat down beside her.
"Now what shall I do till Mutt comes back?"
Tim had an idea is his head, he thought she should plan a romantic dinner.
But he would never get it to her.He just hoped she would think of it.......

Mutt was carying 3 of Tim's chew toys which were left outside.He closed the door.When he saw Shania everything in his hands fell on the floor and he just stood there with his mouth open.
Shania came one step closer.She smiled and put her hand on her hip.

Still he said nothing...just stared at her marvelous appearence.
She grabbed his hand and slowly took him to the dinning room.The whole house was dark except for the candles of course.
Then he said "Shania you look beautiful"
He tried to kiss her "ah ah ah..." said shania..."First we eat."
They ate in silence.Shania looking at Mutt,Mutt looking at her.
"This is delicious" said Mutt.
Shania smiled a shy smile and said "I made it just for you"

Mutt moved his chair beside hers when he saw she was finished. He touched her hair like they do in movies and kissed her.They had a romantic kiss going on for about a whole minute...

Well they had a long passionate day of romance and fun.Shania and Mutt recorded in the stuido a love song together.
When it was about 6pm Mutt went out to rent a movie while Shania cooked a cheese pizza.
Mutt got back at about 8pm because he also had to do some grocieries.
Well when he got back Shania was in a sexy romantic silky dress just for him and she waited on the couch.
Mutt kissed her and said he missed her.
He put in the movie and the 2 cuddled and watched the movie together .One of Shania's fave things to do.They also ate the pizza.
When the movie was finished, at about 10pm Shania and Mutt got more romantic.......

As they went up the stairs the doorbell rang again.
No one was at the door.
"THIS LITTLE PRANKSTER IS GETTING ON MY NERVES. HE BETTER LEAVE SOON!" growelled mutt.
They went to bed....in bed Shania heard noises.
"Mutt? did u hear that?I can't sleep"she whispered.
"dont worry babe its just the wind." Mutt kissed her and went back to sleep.
Shania just stared at the ceiliing..."how am I going to fall asleep!?" she said.
Soon she heard the noice again.She decided to go check. It was Tim. "Oh Tim!Come to bed with mommy!"
Tim followed Shania to bed and lay beside her.
Mutt woke up and put his arms around Shania.They slept cuddled together that night.

Shania woke up as Mutt was sleeping,kissed him and went into the shower.She was so happy today.Then she was done she brushed her teeth and put on some light makeup.
When she came out of the bathroom Mutt wasn't in the bed sleeping anymore."Now where could my love be?" she wondered and krept down the stairs.She heard water.Mutt was in the other shower.
"Oh that silly man!" she said and giggled.
She then saw Tim and said "Goodmorning baby! Did you sleep well?" Tim licked Shania.
"Hahaha good!" she said.
Then Mutt came out of the washroom all dressed up nicely.He even had a nice clean shave.
Shania smiled and looked at him shyly. She didn't know what to say.
Mutt smiled back.He didn't know what to say either.It was his anniversary and his wife looked beautiful as always.
"Happy anniversary!" They both said at the same time.Then they both started laughing and Shania ran to Mutt.He picked her up and they kissed a long kiss.
"You look great" he said.

Then Mutt put his arm around Shania and they both went down the stairs.
"Are we going out for breakfast?"She asked.
"YUP!" Mutt answered happlly.

There was a small spot that was cleared of the trees, where you could see the beautiful sunset over Lake Geneva.The set up the blanket and the basket then mutt....

Took Shania's hand and they sat down....
They had a nice peacefull time eating fruits that Shania had packed and talking. After they were done they went for a little walk, hand in hand.
Then mutt drove Shania to a beautiful place where you could see the sunset....
Shania and mutt cuddled watching the sunset.
They kissed as soon as the stars came out.
Mutt took Shania home.In the car she fell asleep. So when they got home Mutt carried Shania upstairs.

Shania woke up and moved her hand to where Mutt was laying. She was suprised to find that he was not in bed. Shania looked around the room but she couldent find him anywhere. She found herself a little worried. She got up out of bed put on some comfortable pants and a long pull over shirt and went out to look for him.
Seeing tim she said " Now , where can that man be?"
She walked in the kitchen, no sign of mutt.Same in the living room and in the dinning room. At this point Shania was getting really worried and missed him already. She went outside and was shocked at what she saw everywhere. Mutt had......

Fallen into the deep cold snow.
Shania saw that Mutt had been hanging little cardboard snowmen on trees for the winter party they were going to have in which all the forum members were invited to and she saw that mutt had fallen out of a tree.
Shania gasped.
She came running and pulled mutt out of the snow. "Mutt are you alright?" asked a worried Shania.
No answer.
"Honey! Answer me!"
No answer.
Shania started to panic.
"Mutt!!!!" she screamed and shaked him!
Shania touched him.He was freezing. Shania started crying."Tim get warm blankets!" she called to the worried dog.
Shania started screaming Mutt's name as she shaked him.
Tim took to long.Mutt was getting colder and colder.She dragged him inside and set him on the warm nice carpet by the fireplace.Then she took off his coat and saw he was breathing. " Oh thank god!" she yelled.
"Mutt get up!" she was pannicking and had no idea what to do.She couldn't think.
Then he opened his eyes and when he saw Shania looking at him with tears comming down her face he smiled."Shania I'm alright.I just fell." He whiped her tears.

Mutt was laying down, just stareing at the fire. Shania came racing aound the corner with everything.

She helped him take off his shirt and change into the sweats she had brought for him. He tried to get up again.

He almost fell but Shania was there to hold him up. With his arm around her back Shania helped him to the sofa and he layed down as Shania put the blankets over him. Mutt was stareing up at his wife. He knew she was worried by the look on her face.
" Should I call the doctor, what should I do, are you ok , is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable, some thing to eai, some thing to drink, would you..." said a panicking Shania but Mutt mut his hand on her cheek to comfort her and he said ".....

Shania kinda smiled ( she was still worried though..just a little.) "I love you to!If anything happend to you I don't know what I would have done! Shania was now crying histericly and yelling.She just wanted to hold him.
Mutt knew she was scared. He grabbed her and let her lie down with him.He held her and comforted her.

Tim....he came to warn them that there were people downstairs.

Tim made little signals downstairs and soon everyone figured out shania and mutt were busy.

Then Londo started telling everyone a story about when he was about 15 and he was so in love with this girl.....

Shania ran up the stairs with Mutt following her to see what it was. It was only Andrew's dog Buffy playing with Tim. Mutt then started to kiss Shania again! ...so they went looking for them in the downstairs part of the house. The searched high and low, but there was no sign of Shania or Mutt anywhere. Thet only left one place to look. That was upstairs. No one dared to go looking up there. They had a good idea of whats going on up there.
"Well" started samantha almost ironicly" at least we know now for sure the tabloids are not true" everyone else laughed. They decided to go into the other room and leave the two love birds alone.
At the same time upstairs in Shania and Mutts bedroom.....

...Mutt started to pull down the zipper asn he kept kissing each other. He got the shirt about a third unzipped then Shania remembered their guests. Shania suddenly realized what Mutt was doing and told him they had to stop or they would get caught by someone, unknowingly that they had already got caught.

Someone's in our house!" Shania said. "Mutt, you go see if Tim is alright downstairs. And I'll go call the police....

So they went upstairs.
What they found was Tim and Mocha running around the bedroom with a soap opera playing on the tv.

Then the couple on tv were dancing to "your still the one".They were at their wedding.....

and then they heard another sound! It sounded like someone broke a window!!!!!!! And then the power went out! Shania started to scream, and then Mutt fainted. Shania ran quietly down the stairs and heard more voices! She was really scared. She went and called the police. They police said they would be right over. Shania ran to the window to look outside. She saw 3 shadows that looked like people running across the snow to the back door! Shania ran to the back door and locked it. Then she locked all the other doors and windows. Tim came running down the stairs barking. When the police finally arrived they captured 3 people. One named Wild One, one named Winemaker, and one named Ben. The police showed them to Shania and she started to laugh. Then asked them what they were doing...

....Shania then told the police that she knew them and that it was ok for them to leave. She told them about the party and not actually seeing them leave. The police then took the handcuffs off them and they got in their cars and left.

" We wanted to suprise you with something, a gift" added winemaker
" So we snuk up stairs and put it in your bedroom. I'm sorry we scared you. Are you mad at us?" then added wild one
" No,not really. You only had good intentions. But you did scare me. I thought you three were criminals. It was kinda funny seeing you all brought up in handcuffs though. But we went upstairs...we didn't see anything!" she said as she giggled.
" So now it won't be such a suprise....the gift I mean.....do you wanna see it" said ben
"Sure" Mutt replied. They led Shania and Mutt upstairs, making them close their eyes.
" Ok ... open them up" said a happy wild one.

Shania was amazed.

Ben cryed in the corner, and Wild One went wild, lol. Well, Shania finally woke up and asked Mutt where the three of them were. Mutt told them and then she said, "AHHHH! What happened to the house!?" Then she went to the jail and saw them...

"Care for a cup," he asked.
She laughed and backed away to find her juicer.
"No way Love. You know that caffeine makes me jittery."
"Oh yeah,"Mutt laughed,"The last time you drank a cup you nearly flew off the alps on your skis at that resort. It's best to keep you grounded! Remember Bryan and I kept shouting 'there goes Woody! Fly Woody,fly'?"
"Ha ha very funny," Shania smirked as she tossed the peeled fruit into the juicer and switched it on.
"So how many hours are we going to put into the studio today," he shouted over the loud din of the juicer.
"As long as it takes Love. We want the album out this Summer."
"Yeah, I know. I guess I was hoping that maybe we could put in about eight hours and then take a flight out to some place warm & tropical. I am so tired of snow!"
Shania laughed and poured her juice into a glass. It was a large glass that a fan had given her with the words "Super Juicer" painted on it. She smiled everytime she looked at it. She missed those times when she was able to see her fans face to face. Christmas Eve had been a miracle, but she still missed the road and the thrill of performing. When she looked up at Mutt she instantly felt guilty about missing it so much. Perhaps they should take one last vacation before really getting into the main stage of recording.
"So, where would you want to fly to," she asked.
"How about Cozumel or Bali?"
"Why don't u surprise me," Shania cooed and kissed him on the cheek."I'll see ya in the studio love!"

Mutt quickly picked up the phone and called the airline for a flight schedule. He knew the perfect place...

She got throught the song perfectly along with the rest of the songs they had planned for the day. They looked up at the small clock on the wall. It was 8 1/2 hours later.
" Well, its been over eight hours" said Shania
" Yep, lets just listen to what we have so far and then go upstairs and pack....." said Mutt.
" For?" Shania interupted
" You said you wanted me to suprise you... so thats just what I'm gunna do" responded Mutt
"PLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE" Shania begged
" no woody..you will just have to wait" he said with a grin on his face
" Well two can play at that game" started Shania " I have something to tell you when we get there...and not a second sooner...a suprise....I hope you'll be happy with the news.....but you'll just have to wait"........
