"MY BIG BOYS!!" shania yelled opening out her arms to her running 3 year old,Eja. He had grown in to a very handsom little kid. Blonde hair like and blue eyes like his dad, and bone structure, personality, and voice. He was wearing his blue overalls and his new glasses that his daddy bought him at Legoland. They looked like they were made of different colored legos...and Eja loved them. He thought they made him look 'cool and older'.
The small child jumped up into her hold
"MOMMY!!!" he screamed and hugged her tight. "Me MISS you SOO much" He pulled back to look at her."I missed you too angel" she gave him a quick kiss.

"How much?" he asked sweetly, with his beautiful smile glowing, knowing what was coming next. Shania threw him in the air and opened her arms wild yelling "THIS MUCH!" then caught him before he hit the ground. Giggling uncontrolably when Shania tickled his stomach. It had only been two days since she had seen him, but for Shania, that was way too much. She held him close.

Mutt just watched them together and smiled. He had taken Eja to Legoland and and California Adventure while Shania stayed around LA perfecting the sound and show. Eja wasnt big enough to on all the rides yet...but he had a wonderful time.

"Did you have fun?" she asked her little boy. he nodded enthusiasticly.

"I wish you come." shania just nodded, wishing she had. "GUESS WHAT!!"

"WHAT??"

"DADDY GOT ALL WET!!!! In his shirt and pants!" Shania laughed with him, switching her attention to her husband. Shania put Eja down and he grabbed her hand.

"Oh did he?" Mutt laughed and nodded.
"More like soaked. The dolphins squirted all over me!" Eja began to laugh hystericaly, remembering the image of his father dripping with water. Shania reached Mutt.
"Hello love" she whispered and threw her arms around his neck. She shut her eyes tight, holding him. Eja looked up at his parents and a smile came across his face.
"I missed you " she whispered.

"I missed you too woody. Wish you could have been there" shania pulled back and gave him a short kiss.
The driver stepped into the bus and nodded hello. Then started the bus. Mutt sat down on a couch in the corner and Eja went straight to the TV. He was now practicly a expert in its contols. He knew exactly how to find Rugrats. Shania sat down in mutts lap and cuddled into him. She was exhausted and wanted to fall asleep as soon as possible.
After Eja had picked a channel he came back and sat down in front of the couch totaly in tune with the cartoon already. Shania smiled at him.
Mutt kissed shanias head.
"Lets go home you guys." she said as she looked down and picked up Eja again and set him on her lap....

Eja turned himself around, to face his mom. "I miss you mommy" he said.

"I missed you too", she said as she gave him a kiss. Shania started to tickle him, and Eja started to laugh. He tickled Shania back, "We see mickey mouse soon?" Eja asked.

Shania looked at Mutt. Mutt smiled. "Yes, we will see Mickey Mouse tomorrow."

Eja smiled, "YEA!!!!" he shouted, and jumped up and down, Shania quickly grabbed him tighter, so he would not bounce off the couch.

They arrived at their hotel at Disney Land. Mutt carried some of their bags to the desk, while Shania carried Eja.

As they walked in, Shania could feel Eja's warm breath against her neck, she looked down, and saw Eja was asleep.

They checked in, and had their bags, some of Eja's toys and his stroller brought to their room. It was a meduim sized suite. Shania put Eja down on the couch. He of course got up. "We there?", Eja asked. Mutt replied "Yes we are sport." as he brushed his hand through Eja's hair. Eja smiled.

Mutt turned the TV, and turned the local news on, and they started to play clips from Shania's concert that night. Eja got all excited, and started to dance on the floor to the music. "Mommy on TV!!" he shouted. Shania came out of the bathroom, dressed in a t-shirt and sweats. Shania smiled at Eja'a reaction to her on TV. She went over to him, and sat on the floor. The images on TV changed to show the crowd at the stadium, shouting 'Shania'. Eja seemed to get upset, "Why they shouting 'nia' at you, they mad at mommy?" Shania smiled at himm "No, they are happy for mommy."

"Then why they sceaming at you?", Eja asked.
"You know how I sing for you sometimes?" she said.

Eja still looked puzzled, "Like singing me to seep?" he asked.

"Kinda, like that". Shania said smiling at him

"They not looking like they were seeping" he said. Eja said matter of factly.

Shania chuckled, and hugged Eja. Eja hugged her back "I love you mommy and daddy." "I tired now. Can you sing to me mommy?"

"Come here sport.", Mutt said, holding Eja's pajammas. Mutt changed Eja into his pajammas, and Shania setup the little bed for him. A few momemts later, Mutt carried Eja into the room. Eja was wearing his Elmo Pajammas. Mutt tucked him in, and he grabbed his teddy bear [shania's old one-see the canada story]. Mutt kissed him, and said goodnight. Mutt then kissed Shania. "Come on sing, mommy!" Eja said.

Just one question...
can we introduce ourselves in the story?
because i read your easter and valentines day story and stuff and I really loved those because you all introduced yourselves into it.So wouldn't it be cool if we did something like that with this one too?

JMO, but I like the stories much better when its just Shania, Mutt and now Eja, I think with everyone in them, they get out of hand and confusing, but thats JMO

"OK...just a minute sweetie" she turned back to mutt.

"I'll get changed and wait in the living room" he whispered to her. Shania nodded. "Dont be long babe". Kissing her once more, he left the room. Turning on her heals she saw little eja with his eyes closed. Knowing he was pertending, a smirk spread across her face.

"I guess he doesnt want mommy to sing..oh well..i better go" The little boy sprung up in bed.

"YES!" She turned back around to him. "Mommy sing!"

"What do you say?" she asked seriously.
"PPLLLEEAAASSSSEEE!!!" that put a smile on shania's face.

"Ok...lay back and ill sing you your lulliby." Eja rested his head back on the pillow, and mommy sang. angel of mine a song she had written while she was pregnant with him. The boy had grown very fond of it. Mostly because it was just for him. He was her biggest fan, he just knew he was. He didnt quite understand mommy singing to thousands of people a night, or that she was famous..and thousands of people loved her. She was just mommy. And he loved her. Soon, he was asleep. Shania smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Goodnight precious" She got up and left the room, shutting the door. As soon as she looked in the living room she saw mutt in his sweat pants sitting in front of the tv, engulfed in the history channel. She walked over and cuddled up to him.

"hey love" He looked at her, then wrapped a arm around her.

"Hello dear" he kissed her on her cheek."How long has it been since i last told you how much i love you?" he asked with a smile.

"Hmmm...about 2 days and a hour" she returned his smile.

"Well..then its about time ive told you then huh?....I" he kissed her cheek." Love" he kissed her other one. "You" he kissed her forehead "So much" He gave her a quick kiss on her lips.

"How did i ever get so lucky?" taking her head in her plams and giving him another quick kiss. he held her close to his chest.

"I dont know....but we really did." She snuggled closer. "Lets go to bed...you must be exhausted!" Just then shania yawned. He picked her up.

"HEY!" she said. " I dont think you should be doing that? You old timer." she giggled and kissed him. He continued to walk to the bedroom.

"I may be 55..but i have the body of a 30 year old!" he said proudly. She laughed aloud.

"And who told you that you crazy man?" He stoped in his tracks and looked over to her.

"If i remember correctly...you did babe" he kissed her. "Remember that night when we-" he began to whisper in her ear the events of that night.

"Of course"she mannaged giving him a sexy look. "How could i forget that night."

He carried her in the room where she proceded to change into her flannel victoria secret pj's which she loves soo much. He sliped into bed and waited for her. Soon she was lying on his bare chest waiting for sleep to over take her. He kissed her head.

'I love you" she said once before going into a deep sleep

Eja got up, and saw the sun outside. He walked into his parents room, they were still asleep. He walked over to Shania's side of the bed, his little head just reaching Shania's face.

"Mommy get up", he shouted. Shania stirred.

For Eja, this was not quick enough. Eja climbed into bed and jumped between them.

"Get up!!! Mommy, Daddy. We have to see Mickey Mouse". He said as he jumped from Mutt to Shania.

They both got up. Mutt grabbed him before Eja landed on Shania.

"Ok sport, we're up." he said to Eja.

Eja jumped off the bed to go and try to get his clothes on, even though he had quite a bit of trouble with color corridination and getting them on right. But he tried his best.
Mutt turned to shania who was still mostly asleep with her head turned into the white pillow. He stroked a hand down her bare shoulder then up again.
"Wake up woody" he whispered. Lowering his head he gave her a soft kiss. Without opening her eyes she smiled and snuggled closer to him. Wrapping a arm around his waist.
"Let me sleep...just for a little bit" He ruffled a hand through her hair.
"Ill let you...but i cant say that our little one will." Shania let out a sigh.
"Just hold me till he comes in again love."
"Will do" he said and pulled her onto him. Pulling up the covers over her and rotating a hand over her back and through her hair. She felt his chest rise and fall under her cheek. Totally at peace she felt herself falling back asleep.
Just then Eja dashed through the door and onto the bed.
"AHhh" shania yelled and dove back under the sheets.
"MOMMY!! GET UP!! MICKEY DAY!!!! MOMMY" he jumped on her until she came out.

"OK ok angel. Im up!" Shania jumped out from the bed and went to the bathroom.

"Daddy..let get ready" he grabed his hand and tried to pull him out of bed.

"OK pal...im comin" he walked out of bed and to Ejas room.
He sliped eja into his "LA, California" t-shirt that they had bought yesterday, and red shorts. His Legoland glasses and hat. He was ready to take on disney.

"Why dont you go and watch some TV until me and mommy are ready. ok?"
Eja nodded and took off for the tv. Mutt went back to the bedroom and closed the dor behind him. Shania was just getting out of the shower and had a towel wrapped around her. He walked up behind her quietly and wrapped his arms around her. Kissed her neck.

"Hey love" she said closing her eyes and letting her head fall back against his shoulder.
She turned and threw her arms around his neck and gave him a slow kiss. "I need to get ready love" She tried to pull away but he grabed her back for another long kiss.
"That can wait"
"No no...i dont think we want to wait for him to come in this time." she winked at him.

"ok...its mickey day"

A hour later they were taking the monorail over to the park, and Eja could barely keep still in shanias lap. Finally, they reached the park. The little boy started to run but stoped...totally awe struck when he saw what lay before him. He was standing on a high platform looking over a big lake and waterfall whiched used to hold the submarine ride. To his left was the huge mountain he had seen from far away. Little cars went in and out holding screaming happy people. In the distance he saw a big pink, blue, green, and gold building. The sky was clear and beautiful.

Shania and mutt made their way out and looked around. Eja took mutts hand as they went down the escalator onto the concrete path. There were cars and paths over head. Music that he had rememberd hearing in his movies playing oveer the intercom. People walking everywhere.
he thought it a little odd that there were some people looking at them, but he didnt give it a glance. He was there! They started to walk to Fantasyland. He saw a carrous wheele and animals like Dumbo, pete the dragon, and tigger spinning around.....

Eja saw a little stand selling Mickey hats, with the ears. "Mommy I want one, pleassseee!!!". Shania smiled. "You wait here daddy, I supise you.". Eja let go of Mutt's hand, and pulled Shania by hers.

Shania put the little mickey mouse hat on Eja. He smiled. "Get those mommy for you" Eja said pointing to a hair band with two ears and a pink bow. Shania smiled. "What we get daddy?" Eja asked. Shania scanned the rack of hats, and stopped on the perfect one. She showed Eja, and he laughed, "Mommy funny" Shania paid for the three hats. "I wanna give it to daddy." Eja said. Shania handed the hat to Eja, who put it behind his back, or atleast tried to. They walked over to Mutt, and he turned around. "Don't the two of you look precious." he said as he smiled at Shania.
"Daddy, Daddy" Eja repeated to get Mutt's attention. Mutt hunched down to get closer to Eja.
"Look what mommy got. Put it on", Eja said with an ear to ear smile, as he handed the hat to Mutt. Mutt started to laugh, knowing this was definitly his wife's sense of humor. Mutt put on the hat, and Eja laughed, and so did Shania. He never noticed before how much they laughed alike.
The hat had two long floppy ears, and the brim of the hat was shaped like a dog's snout, with a little black nose on the tip. The white part of the hat had big eyes.

"Come on, I wanna go on Dumbo". Eja said.
Eja grabbed their hands, and start to pull them. Shania looked at Mutt, "Well, let's go Mutt. I mean Goofy."

Mutt shot her a thanks-a-lot look which made shania burst out in laughter. They reached the line for Dumbo. Mutt read the sign. "Aprox. 30 minutes from this point" Mutt sighed and turned to Eja. Seeing that he was alreay getting a little anxious he looked up to shania. She had a ear to ear smile as she watched eya play with his new mickey hat. Next, she looked around to see that there were people staring at her from the corners of the lines. Suddenly the crowd started parting coming to her. A little girl appeared at shania's feet with her mom right behind her. The little girl was the same age as Eja and was wearing a red dress. Shania gave her a wave, then noticed the tiny child was holding a pen and a small pad of paper.
Eja looked at the girl and smiled. The girl smiled back, then turned to shania.

"Shaniaaa"

Shania bent down to her level.

"Well hello there" she said.

"Hi shaaniia" the girl said shyly.

"Whats your name?"

"Ashley" she looked down to the ground.

"How old are you Ashley?" Shania took the pen and paper from Ashleys hand and procceded to sign "To Ashley. The cutest girl in the world. Love Shania xoxox"

Ashley held up three fingers. The rocked back and forth still shy.

"Wow! Thats how old my son is" Shania put an arm around Ejas shoulders. Eja's face turned red and the girl smiled at him.

"You like Mickyland?" asked Eja. She nodded. Shania stood back up and Ashleys mother introduced herself.
"Hi..im her mother..she just loves to listen to your music. She pointed you out and asked if we could say 'hi' " Shania extended a hand and shook hers.

"thats so sweet. thank you for bringing her over. She is so precious. I have one that age. Hes flirtin now" They both giggled and looked down. The two kids were trying to talk to one another, but were still kinda shy. Eja turned to Ashley.

"I sing too" said Eja. Then tried to sing a song to her. She just smiled at him.

Shania looked back up and started talking to the mother. When they looked back down Eja and Ashley were holding hands in line. The parents smiled. Eja had found a new friend. Shania looked up to the mother.

After a few minutes of talking, the mother told Shania she had to get back to her husband, she also thanked Shania.

Ashley, tugged on Shania's pant leg. Shania got down to her level.

"Thank you Shania, I love you", Ashley said and gave her a big hug. Eja looked a little jealous, but did not say anything.

"Bye Ashley", Shania said, with a big smile. Eja moved closer to his mom. "Say goodbye to Ashley". she said to Eja. Eja hugged Ashley, "bye" he said, waved real quick, and went right to Shania, getting all shy. Mutt shook the mother's hand, and waved goodbye to Ashley. Ashley smiled, and said, "Eja, your daddy is funny". Eja and Ashley laughed.

Well, they finally made it to the Dumbo ride. Eja started to jump up and down. "We here mommy, daddy" he said. They went on the ride, Shania and Eja sitting in front and Mutt in the back. They went round and round, Eja had the biggest smile on his face. Shania loved to see him so happy.

When the ride was over, they exited, and Eja was all excited. "Thank you mommy, thank you daddy, I sooo happy. I have lots a fun."

Mutt picked him up, and gave him a hug. They started went over to the "It's a small world" ride.

Mutt got into the boat, and helped Shania and Eja in. Mutt and Shania sat in the seats in back of Eja. As they entered, "It's a small world", was playing. Eja stared in awe at the little animatic dolls that waved as they passed. Mutt and Shania smiled and looked at eachother, as they enjoyed Eja's reaction to all he saw. Mutt went to kiss her, but the goofy hat poked her in the forehead. Shania started to laugh. Eja turned around at the noise. "Mommy, shhhhh" he said, and turned around. Shania smiled, and she kissed Mutt, this time watching out for the Goofy hat.

Sorry to inturupt the stroy like this, but it needs a Title!!! And i am really happy that all you ppl took to my idea so well, i thought no one would like it. (i guess i was wrong there!)
So anyways, I will try and add something on to the story tomorrow, ( i have to think of something good, Im not a writer....) So yeah Somone can think of a good title if they want!!!
Anyways, once again sorry for inurupting the story like that!

Eja looked back at them and smiled. Then turned back to the ride. Shania snuggles into mutt, wrapped her arms around his neck and layed a head on his shoulder.
"I love you" she whispered kissing his neck once. "So...SO much love"

After the ride was over, they cruised around Fantasyland on all the rides and all three of them were having a blast. The lines wernt very long and there werent too many people coming up to shania like she thought they would be.

At night they watched the Electric Light Parade. Eja was marvaled by the lights and the disney characters running around. Then there were the most beautiful display of fireworks put on before their eyes. Eja started up into the sky. Though he was dead tired..he made it through this night. After it was over Mutt picked up a sleeping eja and carried him back to the monorail that took them back to their hotel room. Mutt carried him in and changed his clothes and put him to bed, kissing him on the cheek. Shania watched them, smiling. Mutt walked over to the door and turned off the light and closed the door......

Shania had already changed into her VS flannel Pjs, her favorite ones. She was sitting up in bed, her back on the headboard, watching TV. Mutt turned around and said "Hey, Minnie Mouse, you gonna wear those to bed?" Shania gave hum a puzzled look. "The ears". he said, laughing as he watched her reaction. Shania felt her head with her hand, and realized she still had the minnie mouse ears on. She took them off and tossed them on to the dresser. Mutt changed and got into bed next to her.

"I had so much fun today. Just watching his reaction to everything." Shania continued,
"We will have to get that picture of all of us with Mickey Mouse framed."

"Yeah, Eja was really cute when he met Mickey", Mutt replied.

"I can't wait to go home, I'm exhausted.", Shania said.

"Well, one more stop, in Nashville for the CMA awards" he said.

"I doubt they will award me with the EOTY award again. They hate me." she said sounding a bit down.

"Woody, your new album, just recieved it's second Diamond, and you just finished a world tour. You'll win." Mutt said trying to cheer her up. Mutt hated how the powers in Nashville treated her. He could care less how they treated him. "Ok enough work talk" he finished.

"That goofy hat was perfect", she said with a smile.

2 days later shania arrived in nasville with mutt and eja.they checked in there hotel .tonights the night shanias says
looking at mutt.
mutt looked back and smiled dont worrie you do just fine.
shania looked back at him and smiled.and said your always there for me love

Mutt and Eja were going to wait for Shania backstage, in her dressing room, since she would also be performing this night.

Shania arrived with Luke Lewis, she was wearing a brown mermaid dress, similair in appearance to the one she wore a few years back. Luke helped her out of the Limo. As they walked up the red carpet, photographers were taking pictures. Shania smiled and waved to her screamming fans. Shania stopped to do an interview with ET.

"Hi Shania, all ready for tonight?? How are you feeling??" the interviewer asked.

"I'm great!! I just want to say thank you to all my fans, they have been awesome!! I want to thank them for all their support over the years, waiting for this album to come out, and I wanted to give them the best tour I could give."

"So, how do you like being a mom?" the interviewer asked her.

"I love it! Eja is a little love. He is so great." Shania answered with a big smile on her face. "and Mutt is a really great dad and husband." Shania added.

"Are they here tonight?"

"Well, they will be waiting for me at the hotel. Mutt's babysitting." Shania chuckled. She didn't want to tell the media Mutt was around, or they would try to hunt him down.

"Well good luck tonight."

"Thank you.", Shania said.

Shania walked in with Luke.

Shania was nominated for Best Album, Best Single, Best female vocalist, and Entertainer of the Year.

About an hour into the show, they announced the Best female vocalist. Garth Brooks, came out and read the nominees. "Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Shania Twain. and the winner is." Garth paused as he opened the envelope. "Faith Hill", as Faith walked to the stage, they played her latest single. Shania applauded, she knew she was not going to win this one, it always went to Faith. A page walked up to Shania to take her backstage so she could change into her outfit to perform.

When Shania got to her dressing room, Eja jumped into her arms. "Mommy!!" he said. "Sorry to hear you didn't win, Woody".

"Oh, well." she said. Shania walked into the curtained off area so she could change.

Shania came out wearing a silver gown. She would be singing her hit ballad "Angel of Mine". Mutt kissed her "Good Luck, knock'm dead". Eja not to be left out kissed her too, "Good luck mommy".

Shania came out to a standing ovation. She looked at Brent, and that was his cue to start playing. Shania gave her usual 110% effort.

As she finished the song, the crowd was on its feet applauding, and whistling. Shania bowed, and said "Thank you, thank you very much." Vince Gill walked over to her and gave her a hug. "That was awesome" he said.

Vince presented her with the "International Country Music award" for oversea sales.

Shania still catching her breath gave a nice acceptance speech, waved to the crowd, and went back stage to change back into her other outfit.

She was shown back to her seat. "Great job" Luke said to Shania.

Shania smiled "Thanks"

They announced the winner of best new album. Shania was surprised when Brooks and Dunn announced "The winner is Shania Twain" It took her a second to realize she won. Shania walked on stage, took the award that was presented to her. She gave her little speech, and walked back stage to the press, She made a few friendly remarks, and was escorted back to her seat.

The last award was about to be announced. Entertainer of the Year. Jodee Messina came out with the envelope. As they announced the nominees, Mutt carried Eja to the back of the stage, so they could watch Shania come on stage if she won. "Put me down daddy." said Eja. Mutt put him down, and Eja stood infront of him. "Where's mommy?" he asked.

"She's in the audience." Mutt said

"Ok" Eja said.

Jodee said "The nominees for Entertainer of the Year are, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, and Shania Twain. And the winner is. Jodee paused to add to the suspense. "Shania Twain"

The crowd went nuts, and started to applaud. It took Shania by surprise, it took her a couple of seconds to realize she won.

Shania walked up the stage, hugged Jodee, and accepted the award.

"Thank you, WOW! ", Shania said, as she tried to compose herself.

Meanwhile, off stage Eja saw mommy, and before Mutt could grab him, he ran out to Shania.

"YEA!!! MOMMY YOU WON", Eja screamed.

Shania's attention went from the audience to the little boy running toward her from the side of the stage.

The crowds attention went from Shania to Eja.
Shania knelt down, and scooped him up in her arms. The crowd got quiet.

"I proud of you mommy" Eja said to Shania, and gave her a big kiss.

"Awwww" said the crowd.

"Aren't kids great!!" Shania said to the audience, smiling and laughing. She got the biggest kick out of Eja. The crowd applauded, and laughed. Shania gave Eja a kiss.

"Well, introduce yourself to everyone", Shania said to Eja in a gentle voice.

Eja turned to the crowd, and waved "HI!!!, my name is Eja, and she's my mommy" he said and then gave Shania a hug, and hid his face in her shoulder, getting all shy.

The crowd went "awwww"

Shania started to give her little speech. "I would like to thank my record label for supporting me while I was away, I want to thank all my fans for their support." Shania started to choke up, a tear running down her face. "I would also like to thank my wonderful husband for all his support, guidance and love. He is the love of my life and the producer of my dreams." Shania tried to choke back the tears, she continued, "and finally I would like to thank my wonderful little boy. Thank you Eja.." is all Shania could manage to say, and she hugged him tight.

"Don't cry mommy" Eja said. The crowd applauded, and Shania composed herself.

"Thank you!" she said, and waved to the crowd with her free hand. The crowd applauded as she walked off stage. Eja waving to the crowd behind her. Some girls in the audience screamed "We love you Eja!!"

Vince came back on "Isn't she great!! WOW! What a great little kid." He paused as the crowd appauded again. "Between Mutt and Shania, he'll own a record company one day." Vince joked.

The crowd gave a chuckle.

Shania walked backstage to the press, still holding Eja.

A soon as shania was off the stage she set Eja down and was into mutts loving arms. She held him tight as eja looked up at them with a smile. Mutt kissed her on the cheek.
"Im so proud of you woody" he said. "I knew you could do it!" She pulled back and kissed him once.

"Thank you" she still had tears in her eyes. It was time to talk to the press again.

"Can i come with you mommy?" asked eja as he pulled at her dress. Shania looked at him..then to mutt.

"Sure sweetie" Eja smiled and jumped up and down. Shania gave Mutt one more kiss.

"I love you" she said giving him one more hug. "Ill see you in the limo..then we can go home."

"Cant wait." he grabed her hand. "See you soon" He left out the back, looking back once at them and blowing them a kiss. Shania looked down to Eja.

"Are you ready?" he nodded as she picked him up.
They walked around to the press conference and the reporters went wild when they came up to the podium.
"SHANIA OVER HERE!" they were all yelled. She pointed to one of the reporters. Eja looked out in the crowd and smiled.

Shania talked about her life as a mother. Her next album, and anything else they wanted. The last question the man looked up to them.
"Eja..can i ask you a question?" the boy nodded. "Do you like being on tour with your mommy?" Eja smiled and said "YES!" He hugged shania close, now shy.

"How much do you love your mommy and daddy?" Eja jumped to life spreading his arms wide as he could screaming "THIS MUCH!!"
The room laughed and took pictures of him with his arms open wide.

"Thats all the time i have....time to back home with my family. Thank you...goodnight." she said as she exited the stage and went right out to the limo. Mutt was sitting inside with a glass of champange and a box of Krispy Cream doughnuts.

"Oh love" said shania as she climbed in after Eja. Eja went to watch the Tv as Shania cuddled close to mutt and clinked glasses together and sipped their chamnpange. Mutt kissed her. Shania snuggled her head into his shoulder.

"Sleep woody" he storked her hair."Youve had a long night."

When they finally got to the airport mutt woke her up. She was dazed but managed to get her self up the stairs to the plane. She sat down just as the flight took off. Then fell asleed again.

When Shania woke up hours later they were only a quarter way through the flight back to Switzerland. She had her head on Mutts lap as he stroked her hair, smiling down on her. Eja was asleep in a small bed with a blanket wrapped arond him.

"Good morning...kinda" she smiled and streched her arms. Sitting up she rubbed her eyes.

"I had a great dream." she rested her head on his shoulder and kissed his neck.

"And what was it about?" She turned so she was sitting on his lap. Giving him a passionate kiss she wrapped her arms around his neck. After they opened her eyes she looked at him..

"Love...what do you think about having another baby?"....

"Really? You're serious?", he asked.

Shania smiled. "Yeah, I am.

"You want to be awakened in the middle of the night, and all the other things that go with having a baby?" he asked.

"Yes, I do.", Shania continued. "Plus Eja would have a little brother or sister around the house." Shania leaned her head on his shoulder, and made her best puppy dog face, that Mutt had a hard time saying no to.

Mutt leaned his head against hers, and said, "Well, then so do I." Shania lifted her head and looked into his eyes.

"Oh love" she said, and kissed him.

They kissed romanticly for a while. Thinking of another child. After a few minutes they held eachother close. The sun was just begining to rise outside.

Something went though his mind.

"Wait" he thought for a minute. "woody" he raised a hand to her chin and looked her deep in the eyes. "are you already pregnant?" Shania just smiled and kissed him. It seemed like a eternity before she answered him.............................."No, not yet love" She snuggled her head into his chest.

"So....were gunna try and have another baby" he said.

"Yep" she whispered looking a Eja, still asleep.

"Wow!I love you so much!" he said kissing her head.

"I love you too". she upturned her head to give him a long kiss.

They saw eja stir and wake up...

Eja turned to see Mutt and Shania kissing, "Ewwwwww" he said. Shania and Mutt started to laugh.

"Are we there yet?" Eja asked. Running over to Mutt and jumping into his lap. Mutt hugged him, "Not yet tiger". he replied.

"Look at the clouds", Mutt said, pointing out the window. Eja looked out the window, pointing to a cloud, "that one looks like Mickey Mouse" he said laughing.

Shania got up and went to the small bathroom in the back of the cabin, taking her small carry on bag with her.

A few minutes later, she came back dressed in a pair of sweat pants, a t-shirt and sneakers, her hair pulled back into a ponytail. "I coundn't stay in that dress one more second." she said. She also had some food and drinks with her. She gave Eja his sippy cup. "Thank you mommy" he said.

A few hours later, they landed in Switzerland. They had a car drive them home. They had people taking care of the house for them and their horses while they were away, so when they got home, Tim was waiting for them by the door.

Mutt opened the door, and Eja burst in, and dove on Tim. "Hiya Timmy" Eja said. Tim wound up on his side, with Eja petting him.

"Be careful with Tim, Eja!" Shania said sternly.

"Ok mommy", he said. He continued to play with him, but not as rough as before.

Coal and Mocha, their Newfoundlers, came over to Mutt. "Hiya boys" Mutt said and gave them a quick pet.

The driver brought in their luggage, Shania paid him, and gave him a big tip. "Thank you ma'am", the driver said.

shania jumped out of the tub and went down stairs

When Shania got off the phone, she walked into Eja's room. He was playing with his toy cars. Shania played with him for a while.....

The Next day.....

It was early afternoon, and Mutt was working in his office, getting material together for his next project.

Eja was with Shania in the stables......

"Mommy, can I ride Dancer??" Eja asked, curling is lower lip.

"Ok, but you have to listen to what I say.", Shania said.

"YEAH!!!" Eja said, and grabbed her leg.
Shania lifted him up onto the saddle. "Now hold the these." Shania handed him the raines. Shania guided Dancer, around the yard. "Now hold on Eja" she said. "Ok mommy" he replied. She looked up at him, he had the biggest smile on his face. Shania smiled too. After a while, she told Eja, that Dancer had to rest. Eja slid down into Shania's arms. "Oh thank you mommy" he said and kissed Shania.

Eja petted Dancer's mane. "Thank You Dancer" Eja said.

The days passed, and Mutt and Shania found they could not have an intimate moment together. Shania was enjoying all her time with Eja, as Mutt got more and more involved with working on another album for another artist. Mutt made some phone calls, and decided to surprise Shania...........

That night, while they were talking in bed, Eja sleeping between them. "Woody, we need to go away for a weekend, we need some time alone." Mutt said.

"What did you have in mind?", shania asked.

"Well, I arranged a weekend in Paris." I booked the room we had the night I proposed to you, and dinner reservations at the same resturant." Mutt said with a smile.

"That sounds wonderful" she replied, and went to kiss him, but Eja was in the way, and she did not want to wake him.

"That reminds me, who is going to take care of Eja?" she asked.

"Bryan agreed to come over and watch him." he replied matter of factly.

Shania smiled, "Bryan?" she smiled, "Eja is going to eat him alive". she chuckled.

Mutt smiled at her, "He'll do fine".

A few days later.....

Bryan came over, a day before Shania and Mutt were going to leave. It made Shania feel better, that she got the time to go over with Bryan what Eja liked, didn't like, and made sure he knew where everything was.

Bryan got a big kick out of her. "Woody, I've never seen you like this." he chuckled.

Shania a bit self conscience, "Well, I just want to make sure everything goes well, anyway here are all the emergency numbers, and our cell phone numbers."

Bryan kept teasing her that she was turning into a nervous wreck.

Before they left, Shania sat down with Eja......

"Why do you have to go?". Eja said.
"Well daddy and mommy need to go on a trip, and you will have more fun here with Bryan. We will bring you back something?" she said.

Shania handed her cell phone to Eja. If you want to talk to us, give this to Bryan, and tell him to call, ok?" she said, hugging and kissing him. "Mommy let me down" Eja said.

That afternoon, Shania and Mutt said goodbye to Eja and Bryan. Bryan was holding Eja, as he waved goodbye. Shania ran over to Eja, and gave him one last kiss and hug. "You be good for Bryan ok?"

"Ok, mommy." Eja said.

As Shania got into the car, she started to tear up.
"Woody, are you okay?" Mutt asked.
"We've been gone two minute, and I miss him already." she replied.

Mutt put a hand on her leg, "Honey, he will be fine, it's Bryan you should be worrying about." That brought a smile to her face.

Ashley held up three fingers. The rocked back and forth still shy.

"Wow! Thats how old my son is" Shania put an arm around Ejas shoulders. Eja's face turned red and the girl smiled at him.

"You like Mickyland?" asked Eja. She nodded. Shania stood back up and Ashleys mother introduced herself.
"Hi..im her mother..she just loves to listen to your music. She pointed you out and asked if we could say 'hi' " Shania extended a hand and shook hers.

"thats so sweet. thank you for bringing her over. She is so precious. I have one that age. Hes flirtin now" They both giggled and looked down. The two kids were trying to talk to one another, but were still kinda shy. Eja turned to Ashley.

"I sing too" said Eja. Then tried to sing a song to her. She just smiled at him.

Shania looked back up and started talking to the mother. When they looked back down Eja and Ashley were holding hands in line. The parents smiled. Eja had found a new friend. Shania looked up to the mother.

After Shania and Mutt left, Eja took Uncle Bryan downstairs to the family room. Shania decorated the room as a giant playroom for Eja. Eja had all his toys, a small table so he could color, and a huge play area. There was also a L shaped couch, that sectioned off part of the room, and there was also a TV, and stereo. Shania also had a stationary bike, and a treadmill in another corner, so she could watch Eja, and workout at the same time.

Bryan turned on the TV, and the Rugrats happened to be on "Ohh leave that, they funny". Eja said. "I coloring, you sit and watch TV." he contunued.

"Okay Eja, are you going to show me what your drawing?" asked Bryan

"I finish them first" Eja replied.

Eja sat intently at his little table, his crayons all over the table, he was drawing on a huge peice of paper. Bryan noticed that Eja was totally focused on what he was doing. As Bryan watched, he could not get over how much Eja looked like a little version of his friend Mutt, except Eja had Shania's nose. Eja, was so intent on coloring he ignored everything going on around him, he did not notice that Bryan had fallen asleep on the couch.

Eja colored four pictures. "Uncle Bryan! I'm done! WANNA SEE!!" he shouted as he jumped onto the couch with his pictures. Bryan woke suddenly, "What?" he said. Eja giggled, at Bryan's reaction. Bryan picked up Eja and put him on his lap.
"Look, what I drew," Eja said.

His first picture had a whole bunch of little stick figures, three animals, two of which Bryan guessed were horses, the other a dog. The three stick figures, one was tall with yellow curly hair, the other shorter with long brown hair, and in between was the shortest of the three, with yellow curly hair, there was a rainbow behind them, and big hearts over them. Eja pointed to each one, "That's Dancer, Tango, Tim, Daddy, Mommy and Me." he said with a big smile. "I wanna give this to mommy and daddy when they get home." he said.

"Mommy and Daddy are going to love this, what a great job." Bryan said, encouragingly.

Eja showed him the second picture, this one had the three same stick figures, except the tall one had what looked like goofy ears, the one that was Shania had Minnie Mouse ears and Eja had Mickey Mouse ears, in the background was a huge castle. "This is mommy, daddy and me at Mickey Mouses house", Eja said with a smile. "We had a lotta fun."

The third picture, was of a stick figure with long brown hair, Eja had drawn big tears comming out of its eyes. It looked like she was standing on a stage. "That's when mommy won an award. She was crying"

The last picture, had a single figure on a stage with brown hair, and a microphone, and people on the audience. "Who's that Eja?" Bryan asked. "That's Nia Twain, she's pretty and Mommy sings like her. Daddy took me to a show, and we met mommy there. She works with Nia." Eja said in one breath.

Bryan chuckled. "Eja, Nia is mommy"

Eja looked at looked at Bryan and said "Mummy is Nia Twain? how?" Bryan said "Your Mummy's stage name is Shania Twain." Eja said "So Mummy is Nia Twain. then who's Leeny then?" Bryan wanted to tell Eja the full story but he couldn't tell Eja as Eja was to young to understand. Eja looked puzzel. Bryan then said Eja, Your Mummy is Eilleen as that is her real name Nia Twain is her stage name."

Eja gave him a puzzled look then thought for a second.

"Silly uncle bryan...mommy works with Nia...mommy is Leen"

"No" bryan was geting a little agravated " Mommy has two names..one is Shania and one is Eilleen" Bryan pushed play on the remote control , bringing up the picture of shania standing on stage with people chanting "SHANIA SHANIA SHANIA!!"

Eja's eyes went wide. "But...why are they yelling nia at mommy? Are they mad at mommy???" his face turned sad. Bryan held him close. They still watched the movie.

"No...all those people love mommy...they love seeing her."

"WoW! lot of people love mommy" Bryan just nodded. "But me and daddy love her more than them"

"Yes you do."

"I think we should call....you think we should call....I think we should call." Mutt reached over and grabed her hand. Bringing it to his mouth..he kissed it.

"Everything is fine..everything will be fine." He leaned over and gave her a kiss. "Relax beautiful" She smiled at him. They reached the airport. A worker quickly took their bags to the private plane that had chartered. Shania looked back to where they had come from. She felt his hands on her shoulders.
"Come on woody" she turned to him and smiled.

"Ill be fine...its just...this is the first time we have both been away from him...and i dont feel like i have been spending any time with...either of you" They began to walk up the steps to the plane.

"We will be back in two days....this is just us time...we havnt had that for a very long time. Eja will be fine. He will have a great time with bryan." Shnaia just nodded as they walked into the cabin of the plane. The lights were dimmed low, and in the middle of the plane, there was a table with a dozen white and peach long stem roses. The worker closed the door behind them as shania turned to mutt.

"You always were very romantic" Wrapping her arms around his neck, she moved closer.

"Dont you like that in me?" he wrapped around her waist, drawing her even closer.

"I always have...your so sweet...thank you..they are beautiful"

"Not as beautiful as you" He bend down to kiss her softly. "We better take our seats for take off." he took her by the hand, leading her to their "couch" or "love seat".

Within minutes they were in the air....

Meanwhile, back at the chateau......

"Uncle Bry, you're funny", Eja said and gave him a hug.

Bryan paused the tape so Eja could see Shania's face.

"See, that's mommy", Bryan pointed to the screen.

Eja walked over to the TV, "Mommy is Nia!!" Eja said with a smile. Eja continued, "I all afused"
Bryan smiled, he new little Eja was all confused now. Eja walked over to Bryan.

"Ok, let's see how do I explain this to you". Bryan thought.

"You like it when mommy sings to you right?", he said

"Yeah" Eja nodded.

"Well a lot of people like her singing too, and she makes CDs with daddy. Well she calls herself Shania Twain, because she liked that name." Bryan hoped he would understand.

"Ok" Eja said.

"Uncle Bry, I'm hungry can we eat?" Eja asked.

"Let's go see what we have in the frige", Bryan replied.

They walked upstairs, and Tim was there. Eja went to get on Tim's back like he was a horse.

"Eja, I don't think mommy would like you doing that.", Byran said

"Mommy let's me", he said, smiling.

"I don't think so, get off Tim, he is a dog not a horse." Bryan said.

"I don't want to", Eja replied, defiantly.

"Come on, be good" Bryan said sternly, recognizing that Eja was testing him.

"OK", Eja said and got off of Tim.

Bryan and Eja walked into the kitchen, and fixed some dinner, letting Eja help.....

Meanwhile....
As the plane flew over Paris, Shania and Mutt were just breaking a kiss.

"I missed you so much, while you were on tour" Mutt said.

"I missed you and Eja so much. My heart would break everytime I hung up the phone after talking with Eja." Shania looked down and pulled out the little heart shaped locket around her neck. She opened it and there was a little picture of her and Eja, when he was an infant, she continued. "I would sometimes look at his picture and cry."

Mutt noticed a tear running down her cheek. He wiped it away with his finger. He then put a hand under her chin, and turned her face toward him. "Oh, Woody, don't cry. Eja knows you love him so much." Mutt wiped another tear from her cheek. "He would kiss the TV every time he saw you, and he would jump up and down, when you mentioned his name or gave him that little wink, as your secret little signal to him." Mutt noticed a slight smile on her face. He continued "Then when he went to bed, he insisted that I play "Angel of Mine" every night. He said that was his song."

"He did? " she said in a low voice, she started to smile.

"Hey look what he did when you won that CMA award, he flew right to you. He was really cute." Mutt said

"Yeah he was, that was so funny." Shania said, starting to smile. She kissed the picture, closed the locket, and put it back under her shirt collar.

"Are you okay now?" Mutt asked.

"Yeah", she said.

Mutt leaned over and gave her a kiss.

Ten minutes later the plane had landed and their rent a car was right off the runway waiting for their arival. Shania and Mutt left the plane holding hands, walking down the steps. The airport workers were already loading their luggage in the luxury vehicle.

They drove off to the hotel to check in. It was a pleasnt drive. About 30 minutes. They passed by the Eifle tower, and were flooded with memorys of the night Mutt had proposed. Shania smiled.

When they finaly made it to the hotel they were greeted by the bell man who came to carry up their bags to their room. Shania and Mutt checked in.

When they finally reached their room, Shania saw that Mutt had reserved the biggest suite avalible. There was a living room, and a huge bedroom with a king size bed. Paintings on the wall of everything. And a balcony that looked out over the Seinna. Shania looked around in awe as Mutt took her coat off.

"You like?" he asked.

"Yes...i like very much" She walked over to teh balcony. It was now night time and the streets lit up from the cars and the white lights that had been wrapped around the trees. Mutt came up behind her...wrapping his arms around her.

"This is so beautiful...thank you love" she turned her head to give him a kiss. Before she could pull back he deepened the kiss, keeping her from moving, and sending her heart on a fast speed race. He pulled back to see her eyes remained closed.

"wow" was all she could manage to say as she opened her eyes. He smiled at that reaction. Before she could react again he covered her mouth with his.

After kissing to their hearts delight , Mutt pulled over a chair and held her in his lap.

"Its been a long time since we have gotten away like this." he said.

Shania nodded "Too long..im happy we did this." She turned in his lap, hanging her legs over the side of the chair.They looked out over the city some more. "It time i paid some more attention to my wonderful husband."

"And I to my beautiful wife."

Mutt looked at her. "Not worried that Eja is ok with Bryan any more?"

"Im better...im not freaking out anymore if thats what you were implying."

"You dont feel the need to call him ever five minutes?" She shook her head.

Just then the phone rang. Shania bolted out of his lap. "Thats Eja..ne needs something, something is wrong.." She picked up the phone.

"Hello"

"Mommy!" Eja yelled into the phone. Shania looked at Mutt and nodded, clairifying that it was indeed Eja on the other end.

"Hi Angel! is everything ok? You need anything?" There was worry in her voice, that made Eja laugh.

"Everything gream mommy....YOUR NAME IS NIA!!!" he sounded excited. She gave a sigh of releif.

"yes baby...thats me. My name is Shania"

"I saw you on tv! Uncle Bryan told me you Nia." Shania laughed "I thought Uncle Bryan just funny, but he right! people yell Nia at you. Why?" Shania knew he was refering to her concerts.

"I guess becuase people like me singing to them"

"Like me?" eja's voice perked up.

"Yes...but your my faveroite person to sing to." glancing at the clock she thought of something." why arnt you in bed?" Mutt had now walked over.

"Bed time in lil bit mommy...i want to say night..daddy with you?"

"Yes..here he is" Handing him the phone she mouthed.."bed time".

"Hey Sport, how are you..you taking good care of bryan?" Eja gave a laugh.

"We ok...i need to go bed soon...i want say night..love you daddy."

"Night sport...love you...see you soon..heres mommy." he handed the phone back to shania.

"Night mommy..ilove you."

"I love you too precious." the phone went quiet.

Almost shyly he asked, "Mommy...can you sing my song to me? So i can sleep?" That made Shania's smile beam.

"ok angel" she began to sing his song. At the end when she finished she heard Bryans voice. "He fell asleep..just used to it i guess..that song ..your voice..sleep." Shania laughed.

"Give him a kiss for me ok man"

"sure thing...night you two lovebirds..see you soon."

"ok..night bry" Shania hung up the phone and turned to mutt. He brought her to him into his arms.....

meanwhile back at the chaetau...

Bryan tucked Eja into his bed. Eja cuddled with his teddy bear. "Wow, that is some song" Bryan thought. Bryan noticed that Tim was lying next to Eja's bed. Bryan turned the light off, and went downstairs to TV.

A while later, Bryan was heading to bed, and poked his head in to check on Eja, he was not there, and Tim was not there either. "Oh, man! Were did he go!", Bryan thought.

Bryan walked into Mutt and Shania's bedroom, he noticed a little lump on the bed. He walked closer, and turned the light on.

Eja was all curled up, with the down comforter over him. He noticed that Eja had what looked like one of Shania's pajama tops in his hands, and his teddy bear. He had the pajama top, under his nose. Bryan also noticed that the wedding picture was turned toward Eja so he could look at mommy and daddy. Bryan chuckled to himself, turned out the light and walked to the guest room, and went to bed.

Back in Paris..an hour earlier....

Shania and Mutt finished dinner, and were taking a romantice stroll around the Eiffel Tower.

Shania looked up, "This brings back memories.", she said with a smile on her face.

Mutt looked down at her, "Sure does". He pulled her close, and gave her a kiss.

Holding hands they walked to the elevators, and rode it to the top.

When they got to the observation deck, they walked over the side, and they looked out at the city, all lit up. Shania stood infront of Mutt, and rested her head against Mutt's chest, as he wrapped his arms around her.

"This is so beautiful", Shania commented.

He moved up a hand to her chin. They were alone on the top of the world. The lights of Paris shinning around them. Slowly, he raised her face to look upward at him.

"Your beautiful, and i love you so very much." Without another word he lowered his head to hers. Their lips locked, bodys mashed against one another, in a kiss that had been long since overdue. Starved for passion, his hands splayed across her back. Holding her close, hard, tight, fit. Her body wound to his like they had been made to lay together, dance together, be together.

Breathless, she pulled back. The sweet smell of the night fell around them. She buried her head in the corner of his neck and breathed in his scent. His hands gipped her hair.

"Oh Shania" he whispered. "I love you so much" She wrapped her arms around his waist and just held him.

"Lets go back to the hotel" she murmured against his skin.

"Ok" he kissed the top of her head. They made their way across town holding hands. They walked through the lobby and up to their room. No sooner than they walked into the room was his mouth fused with hers again. Sweet and deep. He lewerd her back to the couch where her proceded to kiss her lovingly....

Kisses so sweet,coming from each other, neither wanted to stop, but they had to break the kiss for a short while so they could get a little more comfortable.
Mutt slowly, removed her coat, and started wrestling with her shirt.
Shania got Mutt's coat off, and had his shirt off in no time.Shania started tracing his chest with her fingers, which she knew drove him crazy... they were laying there kissing ever so deeply laying on the coach Mutt without a top on, with Shania playing with his belt buckle....

....as Shania fumbled with Mutt's belt, Mutt gently ran his hand down her face, down her cheek, placing his hand behind her neck, he pulled her to him, kissing her deeply. Shania still fumbling with his belt, broke the kiss and started to laugh. "Sorry", she said apologetically.

Mutt smiled, "Guess we are a little out of practice." Shania was about to say something, but he kissed her again. Before she knew it, he sat up, and lifted her up in his arms, "Let's move to the bed, I'm getting to old to make love on the couch.", he said. She chuckled, and wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him. "Well, hurry up old man." she said jokingly. With that, he tossed her onto the bed. Shania laughed. As she tried to compose herself, Shania seductively took her blouse off, and tossed it, and her bra to the floor. Shania crawled to the edge of the bed, to where Mutt was standing. She kneeled, and placed her arms around his neck, looked into his eyes, and said "I love you". Mutt embraced her, and she him. They kissed passionatly.

Mutt eased her back into the bed, kissing her neck, her shoulders, where ever he was. She closed her eyes, feeling his touch.

"I love you so much"he murmered against her skin as it hummed beneath his fingertips. He made sweet love to her. Soft, slow. After, they held eachother geantly, whispering sweet love words into her ear, then let sleep overcome them.

The weekend passed by so quickly. A time for love, passion, and caring. Soon they were back home with Eja and her horses. They had planed to start the new album when they got home...and of course they did. Everything was going beautifuly. Almost two months past full of wonder. Some hard times, and more great times. Eja had grown so much and was curious as ever. More than a couple time he had wandered of, only to be found in the studio playing with the controls and knobs. Shania would quickly snatch him up.
"No eja...daddy doesnt want you to play with this. Its not a toy."

But to Eja, everything was the same. He was learning the alphabet, and his numbers. Daddy and mommy still played with him and would let him ride up on dancer. There was only one slight difference.

One morning Eja had woken up early and went down the stairs to the kitchen. Dawn had just broke and he found his mommy in a bath robe drinking a cup of hot tea with a odd look on her face. Eja began to worry.

"Mommy" he walked closer.She turned to him and gave a slight smile then took another sip of tea.

"hey Angel" he came close and looked up at her.
"Mommy...you ok?". She held out her arms to him and picked him up and set him in her lap. She kissed his head.

"Yeah..mommy just feels a little sick. Ill be ok" She rocked him back and forth.

"But you were sick last morning..and the other last morning." he turned to look at her. Hugging him she patted his back.

"Ill be ok." they sat together and watched the sun rise. Eja fell back asleep while shania held him.

A hour later he woke up. The sun as already up and Shania was feeling a bit better.
"Why dont you go wake up daddy and tell him mommy wants to talk to him."
"OK" he bolted off of her lap and up the stairs......

..as Eja ran out of the kitchen, Tim followed him. Shania smiled, she got a kick out of the fact that Tim guarded Eja, as much as her. Shania could hear Eja running up the stairs, his little feet pounding on each one. She sipped her tea, and smiled. She was so glad that they decided to have kids, Eja was such a love. Shania got up, walked over to the refrigerator, and took out some fruits, placed them on the kitchen counter, and then pulled two chilled glasses from the freezer,a long with Eja's sippy cup.

She proceeded to make Eja's favorite fruit shake, and fixed him a bowl of cereal. All of a sudden, she heard a muffled "Humph" from upstairs as Eja jumped on Mutt to get him up. She then heard Eja's laugh, and then Mutt and Eja wrestling around, and heard them both laugh, it made her smile.

Shania then all of a sudden felt a wave of nausea. She covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom.

Eja came downstairs, and walked into the kitchen, "Mommy?" He then heard Shania throwing up in the bathroom, and ran over to her. Shania was kneeling over the toilet, and Eja walked over, and put his little hand on her back, and patted it. "Are you okay mommy?" Eja asked. Shania looked at him, "Yeah, I'm ok, I'm not just not feeling to well this morning.", she said, and gave him a re-assuring hug.
"Daddy said he would be down after he took his shower." Eja said.

Eja grabbed her hand "Come mommy, I'll take care of you." Shania flushed the toilet, and stood up, Eja pulling her into the living room. As they went through the kitchen, "Eja you should eat your breakfast."

"I will". Eja said as he looked up at her.
They finnally reached the living room. "Mommy, lay down on the couch". Shania thought this was so cute, so she humored him, and laid down on the couch. "Be right back" he said, and dissappeared into the kitchen. He came out holding one of the glasss and one of the small plates of fruit, and placed them infront of Shania on the coffee table. Eja then, grabbed his teddy bear, and gave it to Shania. "Here hold Teddy" Shania took the bear from him. Eja then climbed on the couch, "Mommy lift your head." Eja said, and Shania lifted her head up, so Eja could sit down, she layed her head on his little legs. Eja then grabbed the remote, and turned on cartoons. Shania smiled. "Close your eyes mommy", Eja insisted. Shania closed them, and she could feel his little hands rubbing the top of her head. Shania bit her lip trying not to laugh, she couldn't believe how cute Eja was being. Eja then started to sing, as best he could "angel of mine". Now Shania tried not to cry, she was so touched by what Eja was doing to make her feel better.

Mutt came downstairs to see Shania laying on Eja's lap, and Eja was singing. Usually it was the other way around, when Eja did not feel well. "Hey sport, watcha doing?"
"Shhhh!!!" he said putting a finger to his mouth. "I am taking care of mommy, she feels sick", Eja said.

"Mommy fixed breakfast for us, it's in the kitchen." Eja said.

"Ok, I'll bring it out, and we can eat here with mommy, ok?" Mutt said to Eja.

"I take good care of her!", Eja said proudly.

Mutt looked down, and Shania opened her eyes, she looked at Mutt and mouthed "I think I'm pregnant", and then she smiled.

Mutt smiled back, he mouthed back "I love you."

Eja interupted, "Mommy close your EYES, I am taking care of YOU!"

"Okay little love", she said and closed her eyes. Eja went back to singing and gently rubbing her head.

Mutt smiled at at Eja, and rubbed his head, Eja said "Daaadddyy!"

Mutt walked in to the kitchen to bring out their breakfast.

The nausea left Shania as quickly as it came. She opened her eyes and looked up at Eja who was now ignoring the cartoons and totally focused on taking care of his mommy.

"You feel better mommy?" he asked with a slight frown.

"Oh yes i do darling! So much better. Thank you." Eja smiled.Shania sat up. "Why dont you go and get dressd...ok?" he nodded then went up the stairs. just then Mutt walked out of the kitchen holding a tray with some food. Stoping in the doorway, he looked at her and smiled. She returned his smile. Slowly he walked to her and set the tray down on the table. Shania snuggled into his shoulder.

"I think im pregnant love" she murmered with a smile. She felt him kiss her head and wrap his arms around her. Draging her back onto his chest as he lay back against the couch "But i cant tell for sure. I need to go to the doctors...I have already made an appointment for tomorrow."

"I love you" she closed her eyes. "So very, very much" He grabbed her legs and swung them over his lap. Eja came jumping down with his faveriote outfit on.

"DADDY DADDY!" he was yelling "I made mommy feel better."

"You sure did" he jumped on them and wriggled back to watch cartoons. Shania and Mutt looked at eachother over the top of eja's head. Love beaming from their eyes. Closing the distance they shared a single kiss.

The day turned into night, then night into morning. Shania woke up early and took a shower and put on a white blouse and a pair of old warn in jeans. Eja walked in as shania was putting on her make-up. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw him.

"Where you goin mommy?" was the first thing out of his mouth.

"Im going to the doctors in a bit"

"because you were sick?" he head cocked.

"yes..because i was a little sick. Just trying to find out something."He was content with that answer and left.

A few minutes later Shania came out of the bathroom and went downstairs to find Mutt reading the newspaper. She walked up behind him and squeezed his shoulders.Setting the paper down on his lap he turned his head to her.

"Ill be back in a few hours." She gave him a kiss the stood back up.

"bye eja!" she yelled. the boy was playing with his toys upstairs at the moment, but stoped long enough to yell "Bye mommy!!!"
She grabbed her keys and left.

When she reached the doctors office
Dr. Childer was already waiting for her. They had become friends through shania's many visits.

"Hey lucy!" shania said calling her by her first name.
"hey girl." they walked into the third room. Motioning with her hand , lucy offered shania a seat.

"I think im pregnant" shania started off saying excitedly. Lucy smiled at her.

"Have you been trying for another baby?" shania could only nod.

"For how long?" The doctor had a smile across her face.
"about 3 months"

"Wow....well lets take some tests shal we" they got up and walked out the door.

Hours past and shania was sitting in the waiting room reading "parenting" magazine. Lucy came out holding a clipbord in her hands. No expression on her face.

'So?" shania asked standing up droping the magazine to the table. Lucy looked up to her.
Still no experssion....

Shania walked into the house. Throwing her keys onto the table. She walked into the house. No one was around. She heard a noise outside. Opening the sliding glass door she saw Eja runing from tim as they played. And mutt bent over weeding his garden. Suddenly he stood up, aware of her presance. he had a trickle of sweat running down his face. He wiped it away. She walked closer.

"What did the doctor say?" shania looked over to eja who was across the feild. She looked back to mutt.His mind was full of wonder. She always has had a wonderful poker face.

"im pregnant" she whispered.
"oh shania" he gathered her close to him. "I love you" his sweat was on her skin. but she didnt mind. "I love you so much. Oh my lord...we need to call people ! Eja first." shania nodded. Mutt touched his hand to shanias stomach. Thinking about another child.

"yes...eja first." Shania looked back up to mutt. "I love you" she went up on her toes and gave him a long romantic kiss. Eja started to come back.

"Mommys back!!!" he yelled. Shania grabbed his hand.

"Lets go inside and talk."

"Ok said Eja suddenly getting serious.

They walked into the living room and Eja sat on shanias lap looking at her. Mutt sat next to shania, and held her hand.

"how would you like to have a baby brother or sister?" Eja squinted his eyes. Then smiled, jumping up and down.

"Is santa gunna bring him for chrstimas?" he was all excited. Shania gave a smile and held him close.

"No. He or she is going to come later than that." he wasnt quite sure he undestood.

"But i want to see him now " he frowned.Shania looked at him and ruffled his hair.

Shania pressed a hand to her belly. "He is in here" Eja was confused.

"In you?" shania nodded. Eja reached down and drew shania's shirt over her belly. he touched her stomach. "he is in there?" She nodded. He smiled and bent down to kiss her stomach.

"Hi there!" he said "Im your big brother!" Eja waited for a response. "Can you hear me?"

"he cant hear you yet..and he cant talk. He is very tiny now. About the size of a bug."

"Was i that tiny before??? "

"Yep" eja pressed his ear to her stomach.

'I cant hear him...wait". he went down and looked into her belly button."I THINK I CAN SEE HIM!"

Shania laughed and looked over to Mutt. She saw he had a tear in his eye. She kissed him.

"What does he look like?"

"he lookes just like me!" Eja then hopedof shanias lap and jumped around the house. mutt wrapped his arms around shania. Tears of happiness in his eyes. he kissed her and held her close.Eja looked at him.

"Dont cry daddy." he said. " be happy like me" Mutt held shania closer.

"i am"....

Eja walked over to Mutt, "Come on daddy, let's go outside and play soccer!!"
Eja started to pull on his arm, Mutt shot Shania a look. "Is it okay with you mommy", Mutt said jokingly.

"You two go and play. I have to call my sisters." Shania replied.

"YEAH!!!! Let's go!!!" Eja said as he bolted for the glass door, with Mutt trailing behind. As Mutt got up, he looked at Shania and said with a smile, "The next one better be a girl, I don't know if I can take running after two little boys."

Shania laughed, "Have fun".

Mutt closed the door behind him. Shania walked over to the window, and looked out, she saw Mutt teaching Eja how to kick a soccer ball, both of them laughing at each other. She smiled, and them walked over to the phone, picked it up and dialed Carrie's number.

The phone rang, "Hello? Carrie speaking".

"Hiya sis, it's Leeny...."

"Hey ya girl...how are you? Its been like forever since we have talked! When are you and mutt going to come here and bring that adorable son of yours?"

"Im fine...and I hope we can go there really soon. Mutt and I arnt starting the cd for about a month. We already have a few songs that we didnt include on the last album that we switched around. So hopefully soon. Eja is always talking about you sayin 'when are we gunna go see aunti carrie' Hopefullywe will come before we bring something else besides Eja."
Suddenly it waws quiet.Then she heard Carrie laugh.

"Well then hurry it up and come over!". Shania looked out the door at her husband and son. Mutt was constantly looking back at her, but Eja wanted to play so he jumped on mutt. "What did ya call about...something tells me your not telling me something. Are you ok?"

"Yeah...im great...just had something to tell you..thats all." it was killing her to not shout it out at the top of her lungsIM PREGNANT!! but she didnt.

"Well then spit it out" carrie laughed "Enough with the suspence" Shania took a deep breath.

"Carrie" she started and paused. just the thought of it put a tear in her eye. "Im pregnant."........

"OH, MY GOSH! SIS!" Shania bent over laughing as she heard her sister screaming with the excitement that she herself managed to keep down. "Its great isn't it?" Shania said, still laughing.
"Yes! Maybe it'll even be a girl! I'm so excited!"
"You're telling me!" Shania said.
"Well, then you really oughta come before its too late to fly," Carrie said, calming down a bit.

The chatted for the next hour, all the time Shania was watching Eja and Mutt play soccer in the backyard.

"Can't wait sis" Shania replied. As Shania started to hang up the phone, Eja flew through the back door, "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, I won, I beat daddy at soccer." Eja said without taking a breath. Shania crouched down, as Eja flew into her arms.

"You did? That's great." Shania said enthusastically, and gave Eja a big hug.

Eja smiled, and gave Shania a kiss. "I'm going to go play downstairs now, Come on Tim, let's go." he said and flew out of Shania's arms and headed downstairs, with Tim following him.

Just then Mutt made his way in, and wiped the sweat from his forehead. "Whew!! He's a little ball of energy today." Mutt said, then chuckled. "I think I need a kiss from mommy to make me feel better." he said jokingly.

"Oh, yeah" Shania said with a smirk. She walked over to Mutt, and put her arms around his neck, stood on her tip toes, and kissed him, Mutt embraced her. "Hmmmm, I definitly feel better now"

"Want to help me fix dinner?", she asked.

"Sure, I could use some quiet time.", he replied.

As they walked to the kitchen, Shania told Mutt about Carrie's invitation.

"Well, I do have some business to finish up, you and Eja could go ahead, I can meet you there is a few days." Mutt replied.

"You sure? We can go a little later if you want.", she replied.

"I'm sure, you two go ahead, it will give you two to catch up on sister stuff." he said.

"Eja is going to be excited, he gets to see Aunt Carrie, and his cousin." Shania said.

"I'm so glad I bought those cottages for my sisters, and us." she said smiling.

.....

Later that evening.........

Mutt was downstairs watching some sporting event, while Shania put Eja to bed, he was so excited he was going to Auntie Carrie's.

Shania was laying next to him, reading him a bed time story....
"....the end" she said.

"That was great!", Eja said

"Night Mommy, I love you.",Eja said, and kissed her goodnight. Shania was about to get up, when Eja said "Wait a minute"

"What?" she asked. Eja lifted Shania's shirt, to expose her tummy, and kissed her belly button, "Night little baby, can't wait to see you. Hope you come out soon"

He looked at Shania and shrugged his shoulders. Shania kissed him, and tucked him into bed.

"Goodnight", they said. Shania stepped over where Tim was laying. Ever since Eja was born, he always slept in his room, instead of outside Mutt and Shania's bedroom. She turned out the light, and walked downstairs.

After Shania tucked little Eja into bed, she went and peeked downstaris to see if Mutt was still sitting with his eyes glued to the TV, and naturally he was! So she went back upstairs and decided she would take a hot bubble bath. While she was in the bath she had started to doze off when Mutt came walking in to tell her that Eja was up felling really sick, and all he wanted was his mommy....

"I was just getting comfortable." Shania said.

Mutt went back to Eja's room, to comfort his son.

"I'll be right there." she said as she started to get out of the tub. Shania quickly dried herself off, and threw on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. As she walked near Eja's room, she heard Eja crying " WAAAAA...I WANT MOMMY!!... WAAAA!!!... WHERE'S MOMMY!!!" she could hear him snuffle back tears. Shania figured he was just over excited. Shania walked in and Mutt was trying his best, but there was no substitute for Mommy's love and care at Eja's age. Mutt got up so Shania could sit next to Eja.

"I'll look after him love, I'll be in bed in a little while." Shania said to Mutt.

"You sure, you don't need any help?" Mutt asked.

Shania shook her head, and Eja between cries said "Night daddy".

"Night sport, be good for mommy, ok?" Mutt replied.

"oh oh oh okay", Eja said still crying.

"Come on lay back down" Shania said to Eja. Eja laid down, and said "I don't feel good, I can't sleep." Shania felt his little forehead, he was not hot.

"I think you just got really excited today, move over a little, and mommy will rub your tummy." Eja moved over. Shania laid on her side, and rubbed Eja's stomach. "That feel better?" she asked.

"A little." Eja replied.

"Close your eyes", she said, and kissed his forehead. Shania started to sing him a lullabye. Eja, started to relax.

An hour later, Mutt woke up, and looked next to him, Shania was still not in bed. Mutt got up and put his robe on, and walked into Eja's room.

Eja was sound asleep, curled like a little kitten, right up against Shania who was also sound asleep, with her arm draped over Eja. They both looked so peaceful. Mutt picked up one of Eja's extra blankets and draped it over Eja and Shania, tucking them in to bed. He kissed his wife on the cheek. Shania stirred, but did not wake.

Mutt smiled, he was so happy that Shania was finally able to enjoy her life to the fullest.

Mutt turned out the light, and walked back to their bedroom, and fell asleep.

the next morning

Eja woke up only to find that his mommy was still sound asleep, in his bed. And his dday was still in bed too. So eja sat around his room for a while playing with his toys and such when he realized that he wanted to see his new brother or sister now! he watched his mommy sleep for a while untill she rolled on to her back. Thats when, (what he thought was), he had a brilliant idea! He lifted her t-shirt a little to expose her tummy, then he ran out of the room, into his daddys office dwonstairs and got a black magic marker. He ran all the way back upstairs and peered into see if his daddy was still asleep, and sure enough he was. then once he got back into his room he made sure Shania was still asleep as he climbed back up onto the bed next to her. And she was. His brilliant idea was to draw a relatively large window on his mommy's tummy so that he could hopfully see his baby brother or sister through. (not knowing this wouldn't work) he started to draw his window. Just as he was finishing up his little work of art (so to say), Mutt came in and asked "Whatcha doing there sport?"
"I'm drawing a window daddy, to see my new baby brother or sister through."
Mutt looked at him and then at the marker he had used. "Where did you get this nice marker Eja?" asked Mutt.
"i got it from in you office daddy, i needed it to be black!" said Eja with a big smile on his face as he watch his window.
"Well Eja, you know what?" asked Mutt.
"what?!"
"this marker isn't going to wash off of mommy for a long time, its permanent, that means it doesn'r come off."said Mutt with an angry tone in his voice and look on his face.
"UH OH!!!" said Eja as he started to get all teary eyed.
Shania then started to wake up from all the comotion, and asked why Eja was so upset and why she had black marker all over her tummy and why Mutt looked so angry....

Mutt, still angry, said, "Eja got the brilliant idea to make a window on your stomach to see the baby!"

Shania hesitated, confused, for a moment, before bursting into hysterical laughter. Eja stopped sniffling and looked at her in wonder, while Mutt was a bit bewildered too.

"But, Mommy.." Eja stuttered.

Shania continued laughing for awhile until she finally whiped the tears from her eyes and caught her breath.

"Your not angry mommy?"

"No, no..." Shania chuckled. She played with Eja's hair. "You cutie." Mutt just stood there, astonished that Shania had taken it so well, and a bit annoyed. He walked out of the room. Shania noticed and said to Eja, "You just play for awhile till breakfast, ok?" Eja nodded and Shania followed Mutt, who had walked into their bedroom. She came up behind him and put her arms around him. "Something wrong?" Mutt drew back a little, and said, "Why'd you let him off so easy?"

"What? He's just a little boy, Mutt!"

"But he needs to learn some discipline."

"He knows what he did was wrong. You can't expect him to be perfect."

"Still, he should be discliplined. That's permanent marker!"

"Mutt.." Shania said, softly. "Its ok..ok?"

Mutt shook his head a bit, and sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm just kind of in a bad mood."

Shania wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. "You know I love you, right?"

Mutt managed a smile. "I sure hope you do.." and Shania laughed. Mutt absently put a hand on her stomach, and looked into Shania's eyes.

..and they kissed again.

"Well, I better see if I can get this off somehow.", Shania said. "Then I better see if I can explain this all to Eja, so he won't draw on me anymore."

Shania walked into the bathroom, and undressed and stepped into the shower.

Mutt, walked back into Eja's room, and sat down across from him, and started to play. "Hiya daddy, I sorry about mommy."

"Well, just don't draw on her again, okay?" Eja walked over to Mutt and said "okay"

As Mutt and Eja played, Shania walked in a few minutes later, Eja walked over to her and with his head down said, "I'm sorry mommy".
"Well, just don't do that again, okay.?", she said.

"Okay, but how do I see the baby?", he asked.

Eja had so many questions, and Shania was not sure how to answer them all. Just then she remembered something Mutt gave her, to cheer her up when she was pregnant with Eja.

"I think I know how you can hear the baby.", she said, smiling.

"Really?", Ejas said, starting to get excited.

Mutt looked at Shania, and knew what she was talking about, and smiled.

Shania picked him, up "UHHH, you're getting big". she said. Shania walked downstairs to her office. When she entered, she pu Eja down. She looked through the cabinet in the bottom of the bookcase. She found what she was looking for. When she turned around, Eja was sitting in the big chair behind Shania's desk. Eja pointed to what Shania had in her hand. "That's what the doctor has."

"You can hear stuff with this." she said.

Shania put the stethescope in Eja's ears, she placed the other end on his chest. "That's cold mommy", he giggled.

"Wow, I can hear my heart", he said with a smile.

"Let me hear yours", Eja said. Shania sat down on the floor, and Eja slid off the chair so he was standing in front of her. Shania put the stethescope, on her chest, Eja said "Let me do it."

Shania smiled, and let Eja put in on her chest. She noticed him smile when he could hear her heart.

Then Eja placed the stethescope on Shania's tummy. Eja started to smile, and got closer to Shania. "I hear the baby mommy!" Shania smiled at him. Eja continued listening to the baby's heart.

Mutt walked in, and all he saw was the top of Shania's head behind her desk. He stepped closer and saw Eja, with a stethescope in his ears listening to his heart, then listening to Shania's, the the baby's. Eja looked up, "Daddy, let me listen", he said as he walked over to Mutt. Mutt crouched down, and Eja put the stethescope on Mutt's chest. "I hear your heart too" Eja said.

Shania got up off the floor, she glanced at Mutt and smiled. She walked up behind Eja, and took the stethescope out of his ears.

"Hey", he said.

"Let's go eat breakfast, then you can have your friends over."she said. Eja, gave her back the stethescope, and she put it on her desk.

Shania took his little hand, "then tomorrow, we have to get ready to go to Aunt Carrie's house.

"YEA!!!!!" he shouted excitedly.

The family ate a quick breakfast and the day passed quickly. Shania spent much of the day calling and telling people about the baby; Mutt played soccer with Eja's friends. As night approached, they went home and Eja, Mutt and Shania ate dinner. Shania helped Eja pack for Carrie Ann's and sent him off to bed, since their plane was to leave early the next morning. Shania and Mutt quitely changed for bed, layed down and turned off the light. They layed away for a few minutes, sensing the others precense (sp..?). Finally, Mutt reached over and placed a hand on her stomach. She turned toward him, leaned over in the soft light of the moon and kissed him gently.

"So," Mutt whispered. "Our second child."

Shania bit back a grin. "Yep. Oh, Mutt..I'm so excited."

"Me too." There was silence for a moment, until Mutt suddenly reached out and pulled her toward him. "Goodnight, Love," Shania murmered.

"Nite," he quietly replied, basking in the comfort of the moment.

Shania snuggled against Mutt. Mutt put his arm around her, and they fell asleep.

Sometime later that night........

Eja tossed and turned, unable to sleep, since he was so excited to be going to his Aunt's house, he grabbed his teddy bear, and got out of bed. He quietly told Tim, to stay, so he would not follow him. Eja quietly walked into his parents room, and stopped at the bottom of their bed. He noticed a open space between them so Eja crawled in between his mom and dad, got under the covers, and fell asleep.

A few hours later.....

Shania started to wake up, she felt an arm across the side of her face and a knee in her back. "Honey, can you move over" she said to Mutt.

Mutt stirred, "Huh?" he replied

"Move over, your knee is in my back." she repeated.

"I'm on my side of the bed", as Mutt said that, he looked over and saw that Eja had crawled into their bed.

"Huh, honey, we have a little visitor" he paused. "I guess Eja couldn't sleep.", Mutt gently moved Eja back to the middle. Eja stirred a little, but did not wake up.

"Thank you" Shania said. Shania turned around, and watched Eja sleep, she smiled, and closed her eyes and fell back to sleep.

In the morning......

Shania felt two little hands on her face and heard, "Mommy get up". Eja squeezed his little hands against her face, "Come on, get up". he repeated as he leaned his forehead against her's. When Shania opened her eyes, Eja was staring at her. "Get up" her repeated.

Shania just maoned at little Eja and roled over on her side. Eja thought it was strange so he decided to wake up daddy! Mutt finally woke up.
Eja said to him "mommy wont wake up properly daddy make her get up!!! we have to go now!!"
Mutt rolled over and put his arm accross his still sleeping wife and whispered into her ear,
"its time to get up Woody, we have to get our selves ready to go soon."
It was clear to see for Mutt that Shania wasn't feeling very well, so he told Eja to go downstairs and watch some TV for a while.
After Eja had left the room Mutt started to Rub Shania's back to try and get her to wake up. And soon enough she did, and all she had to say was,
"Ithe only thing I hate about being pregnant is, morning sickness...." and she trailed off as she turned her head and faced Mutt. As soon as Mutt was about to kiss her flushed cheaks, she flew into the bathroom!
Moments later she came walking back out, Looking a little better than she did before.

Downstairs Eja could hear something going on upstairs so he went up to investigate...
I peered his little head into the room to find his mommy laying asleep with her head and arms sprawled accross Mutt's chest, while he was watching TV.
Eja then walked in and went to Mutt's side of the bed and stood there looking p at him and asked,
"Whats wrong with my mommy?"
Mutt replied with the simlpe phrase of "Mommy doesn[t feel very good right now. But she will fell all beter in a little while okay Sport."

eja slowly walked over to the bed to look at his mother. Her face was a bit white, but Eja didnt thing too seriously about it. Just then Shania turned on her side to face him.

"Hey there babe." She managed a weak smile as she held up a hand beconing him to come to her. He bounded to on the bed. Tnhe bed jumped with the little boys weight. Mutt continued to stroke his woodys hair. Then turned back to the soccer match he had been watching. Wrapping her arms around her boy she layed him down next to her.

" you gunna be ok?" he asked. His frown was growing a little sader.

"Ill be fine in just a little bit"she squeezed him tight"then its off to Aunty Carries house." Knowing that would put a smile to his face.

"Is the baby making you sick?" Shania gave a soft chuckle.

"Yes." a question popped into the small child head.

"Did i do that too?"

She ruffled a hand through his blond smooth hair " Sometimes...it happenes when mommys have babies."

Content with that answer...he had another one waiting... "How can i have a baby of my own? How did you get a baby?"

Shanias face turned whiter that it was before. Mutt spun his head around at his child. Its a perfectly logical question, they thought. hes a curious little boy.

"I think this is your territory love muffin." She brushed a hand against mutts thigh lovingly. Mutt got a look of shock. What to do??

"Umm.....sport.....i think its better if we tell you when your older ok?"

"But I wanna know" he was demanding.

"When your older." he held out a hand to give Eja a noogy.

Oh well, the boy thought as he jumped off the bed and out of the room.

Shania smiled as she watched Eja race out of the room

"Well, we better get going" she said as she started to get up "you made arrangements to have the house and the animals looked after?"

"Yes, Woody, everything is taken care of." You sure you're okay?" Mutt asked.

"Yeah, I am feeling a little better. I am going to go take a shower", she said.

"Well, I better go check on Eja". he said as they got out of bed.

Mutt walked all the way down to the family room, when he entered the room , he did not immediately see Eja, he heard him. Mutt walked queitly, and saw Eja reading one of his books to Tim. Eja was sitting on the floor, his back to the couch, Tim sitting right next to him. Mutt thought it was the cutest thing. Eja did not notice Mutt entering the room. Mutt chuckled to himself. Mutt walked around the couch, then Eja saw him. "Daddy!", Eja said, and put down his book. Mutt sat on the couch, and Eja climbed up and sat on his lap. "Daddy, is mommy really okay?", he asked.

"She's fine sport. Sometimes babies can make mommies sick to their stomachs.", Mutt tried to explain.

"Can you read this to me?", Eja asked, and handed him his favorite books. "The 5 liitle firemen" Eja loved watching the fire engines. Mutt opened the book, and started to read. Eja leaned back against Mutt and listened intently to the story, pointing to the different fire trucks, and the dalmation in the fire house.

Just as he was finishing the book, Shania came down the stairs, and entered the room. Shania smiled as she got closer and saw Mutt reading to Eja. They just finished the book, and Eja saw her, "Mommy!!" he said, bolted off Mutt's lap to run over to her. "Pick me up" he said, as he reached out with his little arms. Shania picked him up. Eja hugged her and said "I love you mommy" "I love you too", she replied.

"Well, let's go make some breakfast, and we can leave for Aunt Carrie's house."

"Daddy's comming too?", Eja asked.

"Yes, i can go with you", Mutt replied

"YEAAAAA!!!!!" he said.

They walked upstairs, and Mutt started to fix breakfast.
