Im Confused!!! Is There 2 Mutt Langes?

HI,

i am not new, i was rjl, but forot my password!!! duh!!

i was reading my 'hearts greatsest hits' cd, and i saw that number 10 and number 17 were written by mutt lange, when i read the atual story of heart, it said that they were written by.......jeff 'mutt' lange ?????????????? i went 'what the hell??!!!!

then i went on the internet and typed in 'jeff 'mutt' lange' and got up a site about microphones, and said that these micrphones were used by 'jeff 'mutt' lange' for the band cars!!!???

his name is robert john lange? right?? so why does it say jeff??

i dont know why, but it's like a common mistake for people to call him jeff. i've seen lots of articles and things where they call him that, like the sleeve that you scanned.
you are right, his name is robert john, and as far as i know he hasnt changed it to jeff yet.... ;)
as for the thing with the cars, mutt did produce a cars album, so they must have just made that mistake again of calling
him jeff. :rolleyes: :)
