News/Sports forum

I was thinking, just an idea, maybe we oughtta have a News and sports forum here?
I see there is a lot of news-related topics and sports here..
Just my thoughts.

I dont really think we need it. The forums is primarily a Shania board, if people want to discuss news or sports there are plenty of good boards on the net for them to do so.

At first I didn't think we needed individual forums for sports/news talk but the more I think about it, that might not be a very bad idea. I'm a big sports fan so that would be kinda cool. Although I don't have much to talk about right now with my Carolina Panthers at 1-10 in the NFL and the Charlotte Hornets threatening to move to a different city every day. :smirk:

The status on this idea is "thinking it over." :)

Sports & news are discussed here, but not to the point that we need an entire forum for them. I think they do just fine in the "open forum". :D

Why don't you add a Nonsense Forum while your at it? There has been an increase in posts that will be perfect for it. :(

I'm not so sure about a Headlines forum! I mean its just Marine who talks about the world most of the time :p

A movie forum would have been better ;)

To be honest I still dont see the point in a Headlines forum when the Open Forum is perfectly suitable for that kind of thing but hey, Marine's happy and its Matt's board so what the hell, why not :) lol

At least with the Headline Forum place, section, w/e it is? The more serious & ummm..."mature" topics would be outta the way of the "everyday" & pointless dribble in the Open Discussion section. Right?
