he hates taking photos and he doesnt like being seen with shania.....hes blonde,blue eyes,very sweet(i didnt say that shania did) and she also said hes very romantic.

i have a magazine..i think..i remember her on much more music it was this thing called much more music with shania twain and she said he was very romantic and she said he was sweet in a magazine.

Well I have picked up a few tidbits on the mysterious Mutt reading almost every article ever written on Shania http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/smile.gif
Mutt was raised in South Africa
His father was a miner (I think in asbestos).
He and Shania both lost their parents at an early age.
He loves soccer.
He's also a casual gardener.

Shania refers to him as "Love". He calls her "Woody" lol.
He's been married twice (Shania is his third wife).

I saw a few seconds of an interview with Mutt on VH1 on the Behind the Music show dedicated to Def Leppard. That piece of interview they’ve shown was taken in 1989, I believe. You can see his face clearly, he wasn’t wearing any sunglasses or anything like that.

He is also a vegetarian.
Produced AC/DC, Bryan Adams, Cars numerous others including a good percentage of 80's Classics. Sort of an unknown Quincy Jones.
I'd say his portfolio is full of success!

GUESS WHAT?!? I saw the Def Leppard Behind the Music today @ my friends on VH1. BUT...it wasn't the 1 where he was in it cuz it was a NEW one! Sucky, huh? Oh well...

I think Mutt is a Genius like TL said....he is a great songwriter. Ac/Dc and Def leppard owe him alot. I don't think he's bad looking at all...And I think I've seen all the pics available of him...

Personally, I don't like this Mutt character. Because he took away the only woman I find attractive, intelligent, and talented. I really feel Shania is the most beautiful woman in the world. But she's out of my league. And geez, on his third wife. That just shows he's not committed in a relationship. and 50, how many years older. she should look for younger guys. We're sweet, romantic, and genius too you know.

Yogi, I don't really understand why you don't like Mutt besides the fact that he has Shania as his wife and we don't. He has achieved more than just about anyone I know of in the music industry and has been there side by side with Shania and helped her gain the sucess she has today. First off, Justin, I never read the rules. Sorry. But nothing in my reply was vulgar or ribald. Yes, I did express envy towards Mutt. But that was it. And secondly, I'm not impressed by his resume. By the way, Dush, I believe Shania is talented enough to have made it big without Mutt and I believe I would have known of her anyways.

by the sound of it i think everyone should like mutt..i mean shania says hes so nice and everyone he meets...well they all love him! hes friendly to everyone and everyone understands him..he treats her right and i think the thing about him not wanting to be seen with ehr cause he doesnt wanna become famous cause of her..well u could tell hes not using her for fame!!..hes romantic...sweet..(to her handsom) and she has said he is the love of her life and the producer of her dreams....he sounds really nice.and look at the great music he does!!!
i think hes a great guy.

I totaly agree with you. He is very romantic and sweet. To prove it, the songs they write tells us what they go through and the numerous love songs shows us that they are trully happy. Mutt is part of the reason we are all here. The colaboration of his writting skills and Shania's angel voice and capabilities result in her fame and there partnership in music and in life. So he should get a big hand of aplause for his work.
Also, if the song "Breathless" by The Corrs of which Mutt produced and wrote is any indication of what's comming on Shania's next album, sit back and hold tight, cause this is going to be a major CD. The song he produced clearly shows his style of music and is personnal touch in them. I could clearly see the likeness between his work on The Corrs and everything he does with Shania. So let's hope they both do there magic touch, and deliver another million seller.

WOW! Everyone seems to know so MUCH about him...makes me feel a tad out of touch. Does anyone know that he wrote a song for Celine Dion...and he and Shania BOTH sing back-up on it? Good song, too. "If Walls Could Talk" I'd have to agree with everyone that he's a pretty smart guy..after all, he married our GODDESS!!! LOL!!!

totally agree...i love that song....if walls could talk.....when i first heard it im like holy it sounds like mutt produced this....and then i read it and its like mutt lange and shania sings back vocals!! i was like yey!and that song is one of the most romantic songs he wrote i think...cause its about like what 2 ppl do behind closed doors!and then him and shania would sing the back vocals...the most romantic ones..."ooooh makin love....real makin love..come on lets go on..come on come on!!.." haha dont u think he chose those parts just for him and shania?! lol..that would be cool if while they were recording that they were like holding hands while they recorded...lol or looking at each other...well n e way..i think thats a romantic song and how hes the producer and let shania sing in it....well i think that was very romantic cause she got to sing the most romantic part..am i makin sence here??? do u guys understand me??well what im trying to say is he IS romantic and sounds like a great husband.
Sam, it's not that he doens't like to be seen with Shania. He just doesn't like to be seen at all.
In If Walls Could Talk, I can hear Mutt's distinctive voice but not Shania's.
Mutt is a good guy, if he's a vegetarian, married to Shania and has a good heart - then Shania should consider herself very lucky, as well as Mutt.

And it says in celines song booklet where it say who produced and wrote and sings back vocals and stuff.
Anyway yes! LOL i think he choise those parts just for them.LOL!!

I don't think shania's lucky. Mutt's the lucky one. and he better be a nice guy, or else he doesn't deserve shania. She's still probably too good for him. and please refrain from any more of this shania and mutt romance. The sheer bathos of it is making me sick. I don't want to imagine them together even. She's way too good for him.

One thing about Mutt, he is very talented and very smart as the music business goes. I started hearing the name when he produced a group (dating myself here) the Outlaws. Of course, everyone now knows him from Def Leppard and Brian Adams and our Shania. The latest thing I heard was the Corrs newest song, Breathless. It is awesome but it makes me want a new Shania cd even more. Did I mention that Mutt is also one of the luckiest guys in the world? Tony

I know they were married in ’93, but statistics like that are usually being made after round periods of time, like 5,10,20 years, so. I am interested in the 5 year period because it’s considered a milestone in this particular area as far as I know.

Theyre so good together....lol.I wish he went with her to awards..hey who knows maybe this year he'll go with her......he might get over his shyness...lol.I wish.......i feel sorry for her..i mean most of the time shes alone..unless her sis goes with her but if she doesnt then shes totally alone....its boring going to the awards alone she doesnt have n e body to hug when she wins the award!!! poor her...
